Delivery Issues – “Next Day” Does Not Mean Next Day with This Company!

I placed an order on Wednesday evening (after the 2 o’clock cut-off) with next working day delivery, meaning my order should have arrived on Friday.

I was emailed by Appliance Electronics the day before delivery (Thursday) at 14:10— note: after the 2 o’clock delivery cut-off window—saying they had authorisation issues (nice trick!).

After speaking with them on the phone, I was told the quickest delivery would now be Monday unless I paid an additional delivery charge. As this was a gift (an electric RC car) for a birthday which I needed before Monday, I was forced to pay the extra £15.00 for delivery.

I voiced my disappointment and frustration with the situation with two separate attendants and was told there was nothing they could do.

They have now lost a customer over this, which I find unbelievable.

If you are ordering something, please make sure you allow plenty of time, as in my experience, their next day delivery service is not actually next day!

I ordered an rc car from appliance..dpd delivered it to the wrong address i contacted appliance to see if they could help ..they sorted it out within the hour it arrived my house..entirely dpd fault...Great service appliance thoroughly recommended

Appliance Electronics are an excellent company and I am very happy that I chose to buy my appliances from them. Alex answered my query very quickly and provided great information that really helped as I was deciding on my purchase. Every person I spoke to on the phone was great too and they handled any query or issue I had efficiently and in a lovely manner. The delivery team (Val and Sonu) were also outstanding. They kept me informed on when to expect the delivery and were very careful, professional and kind. They couldn’t have done more to help and made the whole process so easy. Hello, just wanted to say a big thankyou for the ease and professionalism of our delivery today. Val & Sonu were fantastic, called up prior to delivery to advise eta and were friendly, helpful and efficient in delivering and checking the fridge/freezer.
The whole process with your company has been excellent, great value appliance, delivered quickly, pre delivery phone all to advise delivery time window and explain what would happen on the day, pre delivery call from Driver with eta, delivered efficiently, well packed , unpacked and checked by driver quickly. Couldn’t ask for more or be any happier with the service.

Paid £8.95 for next day delivery to be told it would be 3-5 days. Asked for refund. This is their logic defying reply: "I’m sorry, but we are unable to refund the delivery charge. The order was sent using a next working day service once the item became available"
So they charge for next day delivery, say the item was unavailable and pocket the cash sending it whenever they please. Next day means next day. If its not possible to send it next day, don't offer it as an option.

Very quick delivery from ordering. However I have to send the item back as I realised after taking in the item I ordered the wrong one. Not their fault. I emailed them on how to send it back. They sent instructions including their bank details as I had to pay to send it back. I followed that ,then had a reply back to take a sreen shot of the money going into their account as they could not access their bank account. Not on never have I been asked to do this when sending something back or paying a person. Thats why only 4 stars it would have been a five otherwise.

Drivers Val and Sunu brought my large freezer up a steep drive and into its position in the kitchen. They were very friendly and professional even in the pouring rain.

Very pleased with appliance electronics. Not used them before. Found an item that was cheaper than on any other site. Delivery was also free. We were advised of the delivery date in advance and had a call in the morning, when the drivers were about 30 mins away. Delivery drivers, Raj and Arnold, were really polite and helpful. They unpacked the item and made sure all was well before leaving. Five stars all round👍

We just bought an LG American style fridge freezer from Appliance Electronics, great value, delivery included, we bought on 23/12, surprised & pleased it was delivered on 27/12, WoW !
Despite it's size the delivery team Val & Raj safely negotiated into our kitchen via the patio doors. Job done ! Thanks team I won't hesitate to buy from you again !

I recently bought a Samsung American fridge/ freezer. I just had to say the buying process simple. I was phoned about delivery and everything went smoothly. The delivery men were really good. Unpacked the goods checking everything was okay, then I was asked if I was happy.
The price was great and the whole experience the best… Thank you. I will Definitely use the company again.
