Shame I’m not able to do minus stars! Argos have made a HUGE mistake by going over to the ‘new way to manage your Argos payments’ It’s a rip off. You cannot pay off the plans you want to, you have to pay X amount and THEY decide what to pay off. I also don’t think this is in the new contract T&Cs. Once I have paid my balance off Argos can go and stick their new way to pay where the sun don’t shine. Keep a check on your accounts people cos all my trust has left the building. I can see this going boobies up for all their loyal customers

The app is worse that the old one the interface is much worse and hard to navigate
you can't make a payment towards a plan of your choosing

If I could give zero stars I would. The original argos service you could actually get a person on the phone. This one is automated and hangs up on you when you ask too many 'something else'. It doesn't let you make payments towards specific plans! I have family who use my argos. Now it's lumping it all into one amount!! So now I'm going to have to note every payment down so I don't have relatives paying too little or too much. Absolutely diabolical. I know a new company has bought it out but why change a format that worked?!
I didn't even receive the email with my registration number; I had to request it. I should have known then this whole thing was gonna be problematic.

That is a joke argos pay ive asked to help me regarding my password no help whatsoever ive been a loyal customer for over 15 years im having no help it will be your downfall why spoil what we all loved argos pay is not to ne with beware at all costs

I've had the Argos card for quite a few years now. Returning large items is terrible shifting you to different departments in the call. Beware now it's changed to Argos pay you can't pay small amounts on the buy now pay later they want you to pay at the end.

I've had an Argos card for nearly 10 years. I can't be bothered to get into the details about the change to Argos Pay. You've ruined a great thing. You've lost me as a customer, one of the only benefits above other retailers which you've now taken away 😂.

Ive used Argos since 1980, and Argos Card since 2010 largely without issues. I used Argos for just about everything except food shopping. Christmas, birthdays, all sorts of items and spent ten of thousands with Argos but this new system has caused me to not be able to register, then couldnt make payments, 8 attempts, finally payment recieved, only to find out, no, it hadn't worked and now have a permanent mark on my credit file. Customer services were not interested so I paid the £43 I owed and closed my account completely. I will NEVER use Argos again, absolutly disgusted with the whole way it was handled over a £6 payment. I was using the card to help my credit, only for them to ruin in.

In my opinion it’s been deliberately configured to avoid showing when payment plans expire, meaning you pay accrued interest on your balance.
I’m closing my account and never buying from Argos again.

I have been trying to activate argos pay account and it keeps saying wrong details but the details were sent to me by argos ? Tried to get any sense by phone and as usual the large firm hides behind it system and computer. I shall not, never deal with this firm again since acquisition by Sainsburys it has gone disgusting and can see its demise soon. I wonder if the directors and web designers ever try to use it because it is buncum.

This app is nothing like the original Argos its all over the place making a payment is ridiculous.

ArgosPay has been ruined by NewDay, you now cannot pay off a single Buy now pay later you have to clear the whole balance even if you’ve just taken a 12 Month pay later within a month you have to pay full amount which sucks because it defeats the purpose of pay later. Will never use again and will close account

Apalllling service i cannot register my current account at all!!! I have called customer service and firdt time someone answered to the phone and wasted 15 minutes of my time and he hang up and with the next call same situation they hang up terrible plus i have interest added on my account get a new job guys!!!!!

Argos Pay is rubbish! They’ve sent me all the login details but I still can’t get in. I called customer service yesterday and they just told me to keep trying. I’ve been trying since last week and it’s nearly been two weeks now. I’ve honestly never seen anything like this before- it’s a complete disaster.

Absolutely awful app alongside the removal of not being able to use it in Sainsbury's and Sainsbury's fuel. No point keeping it as it was mainly used in Sainsbury's rather than Argos.

Would definitely not recommend and poor features. Should of kept it the same and added the BNP feature instead of removing everything else!

ArgosPay not fit for purpose! Argos Card was simple no problems paying or Paying BNPL plans. This armatures taken over and not only can you not speak to a person but if you have a BNPL plan you can’t pay this off which isn’t mentioned in any leaflets surely breach of contract with Argos! My BNPL ends next month so I tried paying abit off this month which I found hasn’t reduced it at all and the money paid has been allocated to the overall balance fuming! If Argos had stated that all BNPl would not be able to pay it off individually and there would be trouble doing this customers would have had an option to pay them off before the transition to ArgosPay but no nothing was mentioned at all other than they would remain the same. Disgusting app and firm! Sort it out. I’ve made a formal complaint but I’m sure I’ll get two fingers back!

They've messed up my account. Ive lost all confidence in the product. Once I pay my last BNPL I intend to cancel, and use very.co.uk

Charged interest on something that was never received couldn't be bothered wasting more time on the phone to them been almost 5 months trying to sort so just closed the account absolutely robbing scum of a company no one knows anything and can't sort anything out just passed from one person to another for months

Would have given zero if given option. ORN not received. Unable to make payment as kept saying 'do no accept credit cards' when it was a debit card. Unable to register, complete shamble. Will buy elsewhere in future as too much hassle. Was fine for years, now a joke!
