From the very first contact when a friendly member of the team arrived to survey the job & give us a quote we were impressed. He was thorough & knowledgeable & answered all our questions fully without in any way pushing for the job.
Contact with the office staff via email & telephone as we negotiated the tricky business of ever changing exchange & completion dates was always handled in a friendly & helpful manner. They were totally flexible & unfazed by our constantly changing move dates & always willing to support us & work with us at what was a stressful time. Their price was very fair & ultimately represented very good value for money for the excellent service we received.
The team who arrived on the actual moving day were an outstanding trio of young men. They worked tirelessly through a long & physically challenging day, packing & wrapping every single one of our belongings with care & professionalism. The amazing good grace, cheerful, happy demeanour, banter, sense of humour & sheer stamina shown by the team of Ben, Sam & Raph was awesome & we hope they get the recognition they deserve within the company.
On the day we moved in we were served by an equally impressive duo of Darin & Coleair. They had started the job at 5am, driven the lorry North for 6hours, waited around for completion & were still friendly, courteous & full of energy for the job ahead. In difficult conditions parked outside on a busy road with traffic streaming past they hauled all our belongings up the sloping drive & up two or three floors. Again they showed total professionalism, care & concern for our stuff & for us as customers. They worked tirelessly but still always with a smile & a joke. They were outstanding in their attention to detail & in ensuring the highest standard of customer care. They are both an asset to the company & we cannot recommend the whole team at Armishaws highly enough. From start to finish they made the whole moving experience a painless & even pleasant experience! We would never use anyone else.

Paul and Luke were fantastic. They packed the house up in less than two hours before moving everything 100s of miles and unloading it the same day. Extremely friendly and professional service throughout. I would highly recommend Armishaws for your removal needs.

Mike & Taylor packed our 4 bed house in 4 hours, brilliant. We then had a load of hassle the following day with completion down to my buyers solicitors but eventually got into new house at 4pm, with the help of Martin, the 2 lorries were unpacked, correct location for furniture and boxes in all rooms by 5.30!! Excellent service and so professional, highly recommend 👏.

Excellent service. Darin, Cole and Rory were all very helpful and accomplished the removal and delivery in a very careful and professional manner.

The team of removers, lead by Darrin were helpful, polite and considerate of both us and our neighbours. They were also efficient and very hardworking. Themed involved were:
Darin, Coleair, Connor, Andy, Gary, Alex and Karen.
The move started on 11 November and finished on 13 November 2024.

A fast and efficient removal day! Many thanks to Paul, Craig & Gary for all their help and advice - always asking questions so they were sorting & packing everything as we wanted. All furniture handled with much care and attention - thank you 😊

Just to update on my review of 8th October. I have still had no satisfaction from Armishaws. Their idea of "reaching a settlement" is to refuse to offer any more than has already been offered. I am told that the evidence I provided of the value of damaged and lost items was unacceptable and it was suggested by their legal department that I use evidence from Facebook Marketplace which in my opinion is no more reliable that the evidence I provided. Furthermore they refuse to consider any form of compensation for the bad service we received despite having admitted that there were faults and having admitted that two members of staff were sacked in consequence. I say again, steer clear of them.
If they had made any attempt to behave more reasonably in the situation I would not feel forced to warn others of their attitude and business practice in this case. They say I have been aggressive, is it any wonder when they have been so obtuse.
I doubt they will like this review any more than my last one.

We moved one house and put the contents of another house in storage over two days. Toby, Sam, Ben, Aiden, Harry and Rascal were friendly, and made the whole experience stress free. Would recommend Armishaws for their care and attention.

Darin and Rohan, our removal team from the Salisbury Depot were excellent. Very efficient and organised and made our move happen smoothly and without added stress.

Paul & Luke were superb on our house removal. Professional fast & trustworthy. These chaps are highly recommended. A+

We have used Armishaws over a three day period for our move.

We have to say that Craig and Kaden were faultless throughout, despite various challenges and tight time lines they were diligent, professional at all times.

They worked hard to achieve the goal, kept a smile on their faces and were a pleasure to deal with. They are a shining example of what customer service should be and Armishaws should be proud of having men like this working for them.

We cannot say a bad word about them.

Having not moved for 14 years, we were nervous about moving a family household. Armishaws were fantastic from start to finish.
The crew arrived early and immediately were friendly, efficient and professional. Sam, Aiden and Toby were a great team who dealt with some vintage and awkward furniture smoothly and communicated well throughout. Definitely helped take the stress out of moving, and we felt confident our property was in good hands. Would definitely use again, and happy to recommend.

Armishaws stepped in when our original removal company could not supply us on our date when it had changed, Armishaws were brilliant with their phone support, surveyor and then on the day with the removal team. An extremely professional and friendly team of Craig, Martin and Alac, they kept us calm on such a stressful and busy day and were so efficient and careful with all our belongings, many thanks to the whole team.

A massive thank you to everyone at Armishaws, the move went really well and everyone we dealt with at your business gave fantastic customer service.

From our exchange being delayed making me fret, you guys made me feel like it was all going to be fine right the way through and it really really helped the process.

Craig was great when he quoted and got the amount of time it would all take spot on which meant it could all run smoothly over the move. The guys in accounts and transport for both ensuring it was booked and sorted and reassuring me was also greatly appreciated.

The guys on the day I could not speak more highly of, each and every one of them was a pleasure, they work so hard and are so organised! They ensured it ran like clockwork and they were 100% reliable, nothing was any trouble at all. They really were an absolute pleasure and I am so impressed with your company as a whole.

Thank you again, we had a difficult time leading up to the move so for this to have gone as smoothly as it did we were just very happy and grateful.

We were moving and our scheduled removal company let us down a week before. Armishaws came to the rescue and I can honestly say that they are the best removal company that we have had. We have moved a lot, so we can make comparisons - they were superb and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Mike & Kris were the crew who moved us out and Paul & Luke were the crew who moved us in - the best. Moving is never fun but Armishaws and their staff just made everything so easy. Such nice people and a really good move.

We used Armishaws on Friday for a short distance move of a 4 bed house. Artur, Josh and Morgan worked very hard to get use moved in one day. I was very impressed by their diligence and efficiency. We are unboxing now and very impressed by how carefully everything was packed.

When I had my belongings put into storage it was a new experience but Armishaws made it very easy. See my review on the 31 May. Now my belongings have been returned it was even easier. Big thank you to Berni in the office who made the process very easy and answered any questions I had. And to Alec and Luke who delivered my belongings back to me and worked so hard with great care to make sure they were put in the correct rooms with no scuffs on the walls and they also protected my carpets. And to top it all they also put my table back together again which had to be dismantled to put in storage. I would highly recommend Armishaws based on my experiences.

I wish I could complain about Armishaws Customer Service, except there wasn't any! Starting with Armishaws sales rep. over promising the service provided and quoting 2 days for removing into store, followed by 2 days delivering & unloading to the new house from store. In reality the actual time for removing was 5 hours and 4 hours for delivering & unloading. Not unreasonable to suggest I was overcharged? Armishaws reply was one of complete intransigence!
On the day of delivery it had been raining, I called Armishaws to ensure they would be protecting the new carpet on the stairs & landing,
No! was their answer.
Why not was my reply?
Its not part of your contract, was their answer. Surely that would be part of your service, respect for customers property, was my reply.
No! again was their reply.
So I purchased Floor Protector, plastic adhesive film, from Armishaws at £44.40. What they did not explain the £44.40 was effectively a 'hire charge' and only for the duration of the 4 hour unloading. The delivery team on completion removed the Floor Protector without any consultation with me.
Again complete intransigence from Armishaws to my subsequent complaint.
Finally, I'm feeling free of Armishaws ineptitude, except the free phone number displayed on their packing boxes to arrange collection of the empty boxes, connects directly to Nationwide Bank! YES really, I rang it 3 times thinking I had misdialled.

Armishaws reply to my Trust Pilot review confirms they are in denial of their poor customer service, always the customer at fault!!
My dates were always flexible due to unknown completion date of my sale & purchase, I was told by you surveyor that was purpose of paying £200 to be on your 'preferential list'.

Amazingly Armishaws management feel vindicated of any poor service based on some tick box survey when the order was placed, before the customer is exposed to the intransigence of your management style.

Floor protection was never offered or discussed by your surveyor, but you choose to stand by the small print of your contract.
When you advised you could protect my new carpets for £44.40 I agreed to the purchase. In our discussions, your lack of customer service experience, failed to mention your company policy was to remove the protector. Instead you blame your customer for not requesting your staff, my recent purchase, should remain, it was now my property, a fact you you choose to ignore.

I read with interest your 5 Star Reviews, its clear they all praise the delivery teams, why? they write across the delivery note there names and tell the customer if they get a mention on trust pilot they receive a bonus! Do you encourage this practice in an attempt to maintain a star rating? I did not read any 5 star reviews extoling the virtues of Head Office customer service, that should be of concern to Armishaws, indicates you are behind the times.

I notice you chose not to comment on why your FREE PHONE NUMBER 0800 917 1015 which you display on your packing boxes still connects with Nationwide Building Society, where the caller is asked to enter their 16 digit debit card number. That does not register as concern for Armishaws, unaware perhaps of the increase in people being exposed to scammed these days.

Armishaws got me out of a hole with only 7 days between quote and move date. Over the days of packing, moving and delivering back my possessions Morgan, Craig, Alan and Lloyd were amazing.
