Faulty game and no meaningful response

Bought an Unlock “Escape Adventures” game (Squeek & Sausage scenario) which was faulty - multiple cards were printed without numbers, making it impossible to play properly. We had to stop several times and use walkthroughs just to continue, which completely ruined the experience.

As this is a one-play escape room game, the damage is done once it’s been spoiled.

I contacted Asmodee with photos. Their only response was a generic instruction to request spare parts (with a 6–8 week wait), which misses the point entirely. Replacement cards don’t fix a game that’s already been played in a broken state, and there’s no way to know if further faults exist until you’re mid-game.

I followed up to explain this and requested it be treated as a faulty product, but my further emails have been ignored.

Very poor product quality and even worse customer service.

Bunch of crooks.

Bought a board game from then, had a piece missing and they refuse point blank to replace it. Terrible customer service, I will never use them again, especially considering the cost of the game. Avoid anything to do with them at all! They are a bunch of crooks.

Racist

Racist . Didn't want to open my account but when my white friend opened one straight after I rang there was not a problem.

Also telling me I won't even gave access to Pokemon stuff for few years only for our existing customers.Again my white friend asked there was no problem he can order whatever pokemon he wants.

Avoid at all costs!

If i could leave 0 stars, I would. We have had 2 agents that were brilliant, but 1 left and 1 was promoted and is no longer an agent.
We have a small independent business in the uk and we have lost so much money by ordering stock through asmodee and it either gets heavily delayed with very little, if any, reason as to why; it goes to backorder to die; or it just gets cancelled, again with no explanation. Or their latest one: gaslighting us into thinking we ordered items a month after the cut off date when we actually ordered BEFORE the cut off date, they just didn't mention anything to us until the item had already been delayed for several months and then we suddenly still didn't get any. Emails go unanswered, and if they actually do get answered, they are full of excuses. Awful. We have likely spent hundreds of thousands of £s with them at this point, or at least tried to. We have dropped them entirely and now ship items in from Germany instead, we'd rather pay more and actually receive our items.

Outstanding customer service

I bought a copy of arkham horror third edition on ebay that was missing a few parts. I contacted them and asked if I could buy some spares. These legends sent me one for free. Not all heroes wear capes, but some of them send little cardboard tokens to grateful fans.

no account manager

Honestly the account managers I've had with Asmodee have been great and when things go well they're great to deal with. The problem is I haven't had an account manager for about a year so when I have any issues I either get a slow response or no response.

For example, last year I purchased several cases of Evolving Skies booster boxes however it took about 2 weeks of me chasing for them to tell me that I paid too late and they wouldn't supply me with them. (I did pay on time, however their system counted an additional bank holiday as a normal working day.) Obviously this significantly impacts small businesses and I didn't get so much as an apology, despite spending around £100k a year with them.

This wasn't the only instance, but the most significant one.

Sherlock Holmes Detective Game…

I have a Sherlock Holmes Detective Game and the different colours on the map of London are very indistinct e.g the supposed yellow is light brown. This is spoiling the game for me and my family. I have contacted them 3 times but no reply whatsoever.

They don't even bother to reply to…

They don't even bother to reply to (multiple) messages, they put out completely false release dates for products and, their supply chain is an absolute shambles. A shocking way to run a business.

Terrible company

Tried to apply for an account with them and they took 2 weeks to review my application only to tell me that i had to place an order £1000 or so which was not stated on the application or on the website. As a small business i am not able to do this and informed them so they made it clear it was a requirement and i told them that i would not be applying again. if they had not taken so long to review my application i may have met the requirement but now i am mostly stocked and only require top up orders. They also only have half the things i need.
Very Bad company find your products elsewhere do not deal with them it is distributors like this that are making it difficult for your local games store.
