Had all our windows and doors fitted by them. They are fast, clean, turned up on time everyday and professional throughout. You wouldn't know they had been, so tidy. Windows and doors look amazing. Would definitely recommend them.

We had our windows and doors fitted by this marvellous company. They did an excellent job the window fitters were very helpful through out the whole process. We had a slight problem with the door lock, they came straight back out and sorted it.

Took 9 months to build an extention due to them keep disappearing for weeks on end and the guys being moved to other jobs. Endless calls to office for updates. When work did eventually get under way side wall was built, but on the advice of a builder friend l had to stop the work due to it not being tied into the house.
Wall came back down, then more delays. Bifold doors eventually installed that have not been right from day one. If I hadn't know about the wall, they would have carried on. There will also be extras not include in quote. I checked out the traders reviews on checkatrade and learned much about a companies excellent reviews, so won't trust them again either.
The guys work hard for associated, but I wonder if they are encouraged to short cut..

Best thing anyone can do is don't look for a company with lots of excellent reviews. Look for one with very few bad ones.

I have read my review over and over, and I cannot see any untruths or slanderous comments, I do appreciate the explanation regarding the doors reaction to temperature, which I don't seem to have mentioned in this particular review.
But to clarify, the frames don't just get warm, they get red hot in summer. Has anyone looked at this.
The main issue with the bifolds has always been the seals and the fact that the main opening door catches on the frame, ripping off the corner seal but Associated response gives no mention to this.
I have tried and tried to get this rectified with associated but all I have had by way of an explanation is that they have passed it on to the manufacturer.
I am stunned that Associated see my review as untrue or slanderous
So I can see they would want to seek legal advise.
I await a letter from their legal team

Bill was excellent in explaining products and how the windows would fit, provided information on other installations so the windows could actually be seen in a property as well as show room. Window fitters Luke and Chris worked carefully and installed windows with minimal damage to the house, excellent work taken to ensure good insulation seal to brickwork. House left tidy team worked with builders to advice requirements for fitting Bi-fold doors later. Eamon the surveyor, very useful giving advice on making sure openings were constructed correctly to accept the bi-folds and meet the right floor levels. Very pleased with the service and quality of the products fitted so far, waiting second phase to fit Bi-folds and other windows for new extension.

I would definitely recommend associated windows. We were really pleased with the initial quote, Jason was great whilst we made our mind up which windows to go with. The fitters were professional and friendly. We are now enjoying our new aluminium windows!

I recently had my conservatory roof replaced and I cannot recommend Associated Windows highly enough. The price was better than most competitors and I am really happy with the work that was carried out. The fitters did an amazing job (in horrible weather conditions) and cleaned up well after the work was completed

Great experience from start to finish - everyone informative and very helpful. The Fitters did a brilliant job installing my windows and doors and I am so pleased with the finished product. Associated Windows were recommended to me and I would not hesitate to pass on this recommendation.

I have just had a set of bifold doors installed. I was super pleased with the quality of Origin and the knowledge of the sales representative. The fitters took their time and there was no rushing or corner cutting, they ensured everything was done to a top standard and nothing was too much trouble. I have to say a massive thank you to the whole team who made my complex project run very smoothly.

Had windows fitted by this company a couple of years ago. There was a long list of errors in the installation of some of the windows, wrong glass, wrong type of panel etc. They did remedy the problems at the time quite quickly but I have been trying to get the Service Department to come and look at a leaky window since January 2022 and they have shown no sign of wanting to do anything about it. They blame staff sickness and other excuses for not even looking at it, let alone dealing with the problem.

New windows fitted. Rob in the office was very helpful. Ian & Nathan (instillation team) we’re very clean and tidy. Had a cracked piece of glass during install but was out 2 days later to put right! Very quick & easy! Would highly recommend

Had a os44 orgin sliding door in my new extention. I was very pleased with the service I received. Extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. I highly recommend them

Well, I've waited before posting this to give an honest review of the full process, i trust others find this of use:

Sales chap (Bill) great guy, great rapport with him, provided delivery/ install time frame was 20weeks at the point of initial attendance on 14/10/21 - this is fine, i know i need to wait a while. I would rather have worst case scenario than be scammed.

Survey then carried out as agreed on 29.10.21.
I then emailed 1/2/22 to ask for an update (this was 13 weeks but giving an extra 2 weeks due to xmas shut down period, gosh I'm nice!), week 20 makes it 18/3/22. Plus 2 weeks for xmas = 1/4/22.

They called me back on 12/2/22 to advise no measurements had been written on the survey paperwork (REMEMBER: 20 weeks was manufacture & install ETA, so for 13 weeks no-one in the office had thought to review the survey paperwork to even order the ruddy products!!), rearranged survey for 14/2/22,
i emailed 17/2/22 to check measurements have been received (because now i have a nervous eye twitch that everyone at this establishment are incompetent!)
No answer

One thing you need to know about me is that even if the lead time was 5yrs, i don't care... tell me, keep me updated.... so i popped in to the shop on 24/2/22 on the way home from work in London and explained this to them in person! they verbally confirmed they had the measurements.

I emailed 19/3/22 as still no update on delivery date etc
So i emailed the manufacturer (based in Ireland) 24/3/22 asking if they had even had my order - got a reply advising should be finished 12/4/22 (cool... now i have an idea i don't need to chase anyone until this date)

Finally got a call from Kim on 8/4/22 to book in install for 13/4/22.

Attended 13/4/22 to install - install guys were great, got on with it. Asked for my opinion on 1 window (make it level, or make it 'look' level)

A few defects - emailed same day to cover my bottom!

No reply to confirm receipt or potential return date/ lead time to get parts remade/ordered.
No contact to rebook until 17/5/22 then re-attended 18/5/22, invoice was issued by lunch on 18th!

Fensa cert arrived 8 working days after payment sent.

So, in conclusion. Great early comms, Great install team, absolutely terrible comms and accountability for their own internal failings and ability to organise a 'P*ss up in a brewery' i believe the term is!

Would i use them again? Solid NO.
There was potential extra works following this (replace inner door, replace existing windows, install window in downstairs loo) so why would you fluff up potential future works?!

I haven't even been bothered to raise an official complaint because having since read other peoples reviews do they even care? Not sure if they have ISO to raise with the certificating body, and having visited the FENSA website (which is an ad minefield!) i don't even think they care (in my line of work, if my certificating bodies get a complaint about someone they are associated with, they investigate!)

To a point that i have Safestyle doing the replacement existing windows (they contacted me within 4 weeks to book the install date in!) due to be done in August.

Do not believe this message posted on their website - 10 Year Guarantee: Once your installation is complete, just sit back and relax. Enjoy the peace of mind that only a ten year insurance backed guarantee can offer.

My installation has some issues with the exterior door hinges deteriorating over time and an internal window hinge having failed. Having contacted the company via email in March 2020, again in July 2020 (Company MD response: I have forwarded your email to our manufacturers and I am awaiting their reply.) I emailed again in September and November 2020. I called and emailed in April, May, June, July and August 2021. Eventually in September 2021 they sent a repair engineer who assessed the situation and broke a number of door hinge caps during his inspection and confirmed the window hinge had failed and would need to be replaced and he would order the part. I've heard nothing since his visit having called and left messages and emailed again in November 2021 and January 2022. The two year anniversary has come and gone and still nothing!

If I could leave a minus figure I would. My new front door is due to be fitted next week after ordering it at the end of May with estimated fitting of end of September. So already delayed by 6 weeks. I have just had a phone call from a very insincere Managing Director at the company telling me a week before it is due to be fitted it isn't made and they don't know when it will be ready. Other people in this area have had doors and windows fitted by other companies in half the time I have waited. When I said I may need to cancel this order he said if they have made part of it there will be costs involved. A threat? I expect a full refund on my deposit. I also had a window fitted by this company less than 10 years ago which now has condensation in the panes. They are supposed to be replacing it but I've had to remind them of this several times.

I'm fed up of Covid, the economy, Brexit, the price of wood blah blah blah being an excuse... I'm about to pay over £2000 for a door and this is the customer service I get? I could have predicted this would happen. He then ended the call after saying HE was getting frustrated! No mate. Your job is to fix this situation. I considered going to this company for windows and an orangery... er.... no. I'll go for someone efficient..

What an experience I am glad not to ever go through again. Poor Project management (four attempts to fit right infill panel), Quality Control was bad too (Wrong glass, two patio door thresholds different colours, wrong infill panel TWICE to replace OSB in hole).

Sourced and fitted own infill panel in the end so the threat to cancel FENSA guarantee remains as Rob McDonald said the contracted panel could not be supplied.

Hi had windows fitted a couple of years ago by them. Had a problem with one window it was scratched below the bead line. They refused to replace it because we noticed it a few months later. So we had to replace it ourselves. So due to the way they treated us they missed out on fitting our front door and fench doors. We would never use again. Tip make sure you check every window for damages if you use them. This is a genuine review.

When it goes wrong expect it go badly wrong. A 6 week project taking over 9 months and the Managing Director refusing to discuss the project, issuing demands for payment and refusing to attend to defects in the works. Despite writing to the Company in December it took over 2 months for a 'verbal' reply and after 3 letters to Associated Windows, they have issued legal proceedings for a 'debt recovery' on an incomplete project.
Associated Windows admit that they have lacked 'project management skills and that new people are employed.
Don't think you are paying top money for top service!
Expect the Managing Director to less than sympathetic or interested in resolving matters. Standby for their day in Court!

Fantastic service and installation. We have recently had a new insulated roof installed and the whole process was very efficient. From the beginning of the process right through to completion. Everyone from sales, Workman and office staff went the extra mile to ensure that the work was completed to our specification and on time. We then had them back 3 weeks later to fit a new front door too! Would recommend the products and the company!
