The product is good but the business is terrible. The pricing is very badly designed and not friendly at all to embarking new users. The Fusion360 app itself is good, but the entire business model of Autodesk is really frustrating.

Wir haben im April vier Lizenzen gekauft. Leider wurde keine Rechnung übersendet. Der Support spricht kein deutsch, ist unfähig das Problem zu verstehen überhaupt nicht hilfreich. Es werden sinnlos Nachrichten formuliert, ohne irgend eine Hilfe.
Da die Firma nicht in Deutschland sitzt, ist es ziemlich schwierig rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten.
Verträge werden nicht eingehalten
Nachtrag: Ich ändere den einen Stern auf 3 Sterne: Nachdem ich einen kompetenten Mitarbeiter im Chat hatte, wurde mir schnell ein neuer Code übermittelt und alles läuft wieder bestens. Autodesk sollte seine Service-Mitarbeiter nicht nur in Entschuldigungen sondern vielleicht auch im Vetragsrecht schulen. Sechs Stunden für die Katz.

Ich habe eine permanente Lizenz über die Suite aus 2014. Nach dem Einbau eines neuen Mainboards funktionierte weder Inventor noch Autocad mehr, ein neuer Aktivierungscode soll eingegeben werden. Den gibt mir Autodesk aber nicht, weil es keinen Support mehr dafür gibt. Ich will ja auch keinen Support, nur meinen Aktivierungscode. Wieso darf Autodesk grundlos meine Lizenz sperren, nur weil ein neues Mainboard eingebaut wurde?

Worlds longest goose chase (just use blender)
After years of Autodesk raising their prices, I decided to finally call it quits with them, cancelling my annual subscription and requesting a refund. I did not anticipate the company to stoop to a new low, despite getting a refund, it never seemed to show up, always with the excuse of it takes 7 buisness days and it must be a problem with my bank. I did this song and dance for 2 weeks until finally they messaged me saying it was a problem with paypal. I called paypal up and drum roll ... Autodesk never issued a refund and lead me on a goose chase for almost 3 weeks. Now I have to wait 10 days for the claim to get settled and then 10 more business days for my money to finally get back to me. What a shit show. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!. Just learn blender or switch over this compant does not give a shit

I would give zero stars if possible. I invested a lot in this firm, their softwares, and specific formation for nothing. They refuse to support older versions of their software even though they got thousands of euro from my side, and for support I mean the chance for activating their products. This is absolutely a nonsense. I purchased their softwares and I'm not be able to activate them anymore. They provide answers empty and blind, it seems to get messages from a bot. Their support is limited to 5 years also for activating the products. I never experienced a blind policy like that one, they let you feel that they care nothing. I received more assistance by people like me who owns their software and like to help others in forums, but they doesn't get any income for it. Congrats Autodesk

Dreadful company, terrible service.
The biggest rip off of current compositing software.
Autodesk has repeatedly put their subscription prices up and now charge £530 for a 1 month license. It's a joke compared to Boris FX who are way ahead of the game with their product and service. If you have to contact Autodesk Customer Service.....Good luck as they are appalling and when they can't answer a question they cut you off due to their lack of knowledge and inexperience. They are going cheap for that and charging more for profit. What a shame as they used to be the best around.
Worst customer service team i've ever come across
We used to procure our licenses via a 3rd party and had no issues for years. This year, Autodesk decided to cancel that. Great, let me go onto the website and click "buy it now", oh no, you can't do that. you have to set yourself up as a supplier which takes months. you then end up with one single person responsible for everything and you can't link orders to people. it's a mess!
Autodesk have outsourced support to India, and by jingo it shows. no one can understand you, so cross your fingers that you NEVER EVER have to raise a support case. i do believe I have responded "Yes" to their feedback requests of "Would you like a manager to contact you" around about 20 times, I am still waiting.
To be fair to them, I did get a missed call around 22:00, maybe they had been at the pub? who knows?
Do yourself a favour and buy an alternative piece of software.

The customer support is absolutely terrible. It is basically nonexistent. The website is to no help as well. Wherever you go, you either get in the dead end with your question, or met with AI that can offer no help whatsoever.

Never realised they were Satanic. I'd give no stars if that were possible. Double charged me for 4 months, admitted it then just said ' oh well, you're not getting your £342 back anyway, so might as well go 💩 yourself. Have a great day.' My bank have raised a dispute but tbh their customer service is baffling so not getting my hopes up too high.

I asked them over and over again to delete my account and content, but they just keep getting back to me with the same automated and unhelpful replies.
As I see it, they have basically stolen my content and advertising themselves using my name. This is detrimental to my business and I might have to take legal action against it.

Autodesk Students access renewal
I am a student and I need to renew my student access for school. They only give three tries and then you need to contact support. I tried and as for my first two times they rejected me probably for insufficient documentation. I tried to renew it for the thrid time (this time I had way more documentation) and... The renewal page completley disappeared. When you talk to the stupid fake "AI" bot it links to a "dedicated" page for stuednts access renewal, which talks about a Banner that I had for the first two days I tried to renew it and then it just disappeared.
Now I have to contact support for basically no reason just to link me to a page.
Also, when I try to load the page trough Autodesk Inventor or any other software of theirs, the software just crashes or gives an error. This is literally unjustifialble for a software that costs at all, but especially for a "buisness" software that costs something like 4k. I've seen better support with no-cost softwares.
