Terrible

I bought a Hyundai IX 35 from this bunch about six weeks ago. On driving the car for an hour or two it became obvious there were a number of issues with it. When flagging these to the after sales team I was told via email to forward a quote for the remedial work but not to have any of the work carried out until I heard back from them. I paid £102 for the car to be looked at and then sent them a quote for the work. I have followed up by phone, by email and also using the chatbot online. I have had no response… I am very frustrated, disappointed and would never buy a car from this company again. Do so at your peril!

Issue with tax and no V5 paperwork on delivery

Bought a car from this dealer in early April to replace my previous vehicle. The car was delivered very early in the morning without prior agreement on the time.

No V5C/2 document was provided on delivery, which meant I could not tax the car myself. When I queried this, I was told the paperwork had been forgotten and that the dealer would arrange the tax and send me an invoice. After a few days I checked the DVLA website and found the vehicle was still showing as untaxed.

I called multiple times over the following week for an update. Each time I was told it would be resolved and proof would be sent, but no proof or V5 arrived. Without the V5C/2, DVLA advised the process would take around 6 weeks.

The lack of tax and paperwork meant I was unable to use the car I had paid for.

If you want a bad experience - this is the garage for you.

I bought a car from the garage back in November and the service initially was good however it was all downhill from there. Upon having a video of car sent I noticed a few things such as headrests missing a loose component in the car and the rear towbar cap missing from the back. I was assured these would be resolved prior to delivery.....they wernt.
Once the car had been delivered I noticed more things, the interior sunroof blind was broken, warning messages on the dash board, parking sensors not working and stop start not working. I made the garage aware of this and they arranged for the car to be collected and provided me with a courtesy car while they took it back for repair.
They had the car for 31 days so you would expect the car to be in tip top condition........guess what? it wasnt. In fact the car was in worse condition, the only thing they had attended to was a knocking from the front of the car and the headliner had been fixed however they had left dirty handprints all over the headliner aswell as dirty gloves in the back of the car and they actually ripped the headliner. Baring in mind the car was delivered at 5 oclock in the morning back to me when I checked it they had also delivered it back with 16 miles of range left in the tank.

Communication throughout this whole process was absolutely shocking and I had to resort to using the websites chat feature to request a call back or and email back. I also made a complaint through AutoTrader where I found them who had to message the garage to get back to me.

They did pay for a new battery, alternator and glow plugs to be fitted but dont let this disguise the fact they are covering their own backs and these things should have been resolved before the sale.

Ultimately I am left with a car which has no working parking sensors, stop start does not work and overall feel absolutley shafted by this company. The sheer amount of stress they caused was unparallel to anything I have experienced.

I did request a full refund however their policy is horrific - 14 days to collect the car, 7 days to inspect the vehicle and a further 14 days to have any money at all refunded.......I couldnt be without a car for over 1 month while waiting for them to consider a refund and considering the lack of communication from them I didnt trust them at all so ultimately I have had to suck it up.

In a nutshell, avoid this garage at all costs and look elsewhere.

NO DELIVERY! NO RETURN OF OUR DEPOSIT!

No delivery and no return of our deposit
AVOID! AVOID ! AVOID !
If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered a car to be delivered and paid the delivery deposit. Aaron told us the car would be delivered by the weekend. It wasn’t and no communication to explain why? We contacted them on Monday and spoke to Charlie who assured us the car would be delivered on Wednesday and the transportation company would contact us to arrange a time. Guess what? NO CONTACT! We chased throughout Wednesday and were given various excuses and promises of returned calls. Finally, we discovered via a 3rd party that the car had been sold to someone else.
OK we asked how can we get our initial deposit back as you failed to deliver the car? We were told by Charlie to email with our details. We did this immediately and the email bounced back and despite numerous attempts kept bouncing. Our phone numbers have been blocked and we are still waiting for our deposit!
We are now taking further action under the ‘distance selling act’ to get our deposit back.
But my advice to anyone thinking of buying from these charlatans- THINK AGAIN AND GO ELSEWHERE.
