The delivery was great, items arrived on the date I requested, so earlier than I thought might be possible. Although I wasn't in myself, the delivery person was really helpful to my daughter who was at home and ensured everything was placed carefully in the garden.

I thought the oak panels did not look like they did in the images, so a bit disappointed there, but we'll manage.

Excellent service through advice and ordering process, the Ashford branch were so helpful in arranging delivery and the products are as expected. The only thing letting the service down was the delivery driver on the day, who refused to proceed up on our drive despite our assurances that previous skip lorries and craned lorries (eg from Wickes) have done this. He seemed to be an inexperienced lorry driver as he insisted the lorry wouldn’t fit and then made a roadside drop. A shame as the rest of the service was superb.

The prices were good compared to other places
They called me the same day I put the order through to arrange a delivery day in the future.
They kindly managed to move around times so I could get my delivery before the weekend as I had child care to crack on with the garden work for that weekend
The delivery guy was really friendly and made my sons day watching him crane the delivery off the lorry onto our front garden

Ordered the required timber to fit a slightly larger than 3.0 close board fence and AVS supplied 3.6m timber gravel board and 3.6m flat end arris rails. All arrived in good time with a call an hour or so prior to delivery from the driver. The timber was fresh, straight and perfect for the job.

Great product. Friendly and very helpful service in the yard to load up the sleepers into the van. Recommended!
