Great service when we purchased our bed from the derby shop

We had a warm welcome from Dhruv at Bensons in Derby.

We we given advice and shown different options, also time to discuss between ourselves without any pressure.

Our order was explained clearly and all payment options clearly explained

Staff wonderfully helpful withut being pushy, goods well displayed and attractively presented. Easy variations to choose and staff very happy with rearranging delivery.
Delivery staff fast efficient and careful not to damage anything. Top marks

I was so satisfied with my experience in bensons and beds, Derby. Staff Aman was very friendly and professional . She made us comfortable with the order.

Great experience all round everything explained and all staff totally aware of my order, slight problem/confusion with my delivery but a quick call and my sales person and he dealt with it very quickly and efficiently .
Now as for my bed very impressed with the quality and ease of assembly
And the mattress is the most comfortable I’ve ever owned

From start to finish it was a great experience. Salesperson was very knowledgeable. We had already decided on bed base and headboard but had lots of advice and help to choose the right mattress. Delivery date was scheduled for 9 days later. 3 days before, the delivery was confirmed, with a 2 hour time slot. We had a phone call on the day to say they would be with us within 30 minutes. They arrived 25 minutes later. Very friendly and courteous team, even took their shoes off without being asked. Old bed taken away and new one built in a very short time. This was the 2nd bed we've had from them in the past 3 months. First experience was just as good. Very highly recommend Bensons

Great price, delivery people were spot on and the bed is so comfortable. For the first time in years, I'm having a great sleep.

Bed I ordered was: 150CM Ottoman Bedframe ALEXIS Full Front Ottoman Fabric Grey Velvet - KING SIZE.

We ordered online and the delivery drivers were from Derby so that's the one I've selected here

We purchased a mattress for over £2000 which would not fit upstairs. We weren’t advised of potential issues or that other versions of the mattress were available. The mattress was taken back by the driver, I was told we would have to pay £400 to cancel the order which I refuse to do as we weren’t advised correctly. This was in August and we still have no mattress and they still have our money. Rude in the shop and very unhelpful.Absolutely shocking. Avoid!!!

One of my pet hates is misrepresentation. We went to the Derby store for 2 singles. First one we saw fitted the bill, a single with a pull out underneath. Big sign on the end reduced by 250 to 250, mattress extra at 169.99. We told the assistant we'd like it and sat down to order. Paid 250 for the bed. Then she said the mattress was 250 when clearly said 169.99, 'but no, that's for the one underneath'. It very clearly didn't say that! We then came to order the mattress underneath, now we're told it's 169.99 plus 50 delivery. Once again no mention of this. So, be clear in your pricing and be transparent. Dont try to hide hidden costs, clearly state what the actual price is!

Purchase in good faith a double sliding door wardrobe for our bedroom- from Bensons for Beds
Only cost about £1800 !!

Looks great initially , UNTIL you realise that YOU have to fit it to the wall for stability
Absolute joke of an install procedure

Waited months for 2 guys to return and hand me the bracket for ME to fix

Quality of product good but after that , your are on your own and nobody gives a damn

I’ve never written a review until today

Never purchase a product that requires installation from this company or its contractors
Anything else I’m sure is fine
We will not be returning and DO expect some silly reply blaming us or whatever for this issue - it’s in the t&c or something like it no doubt

The staff in the showroom were very knowledgeable and efficient with Jai being so helpful. The delivery guys, David and Lee, were timely and considerate. The mattress is amazing!
