Very helpful staff, very informative on choosing the right mattress

Excellent service. The salesperson was very helpful without being pushy. Smooth transaction and I was kept informed at every stage.
Due to my incompetence I couldn’t assemble the base when it arrived so I called the customer service who couldn’t have been more patient and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We were greeted by Rob who helped us decide on the type of firmness we needed for our mattress. Rob was very informative and answered all our questions. We didn’t feel pressured or rushed to make our purchase and felt we were given the space and time to make our decision.

The staff were very approachable, friendly and clearly knew what they were talking about. After our initial chat of what we were looking for we were left to look and try the range of beds, there was no pressure selling. Once we made the decision to order it took about 10 - 15 minutes to complete all the paper work and also get a delivery date. We are very pleased with the experience and would recommend this store.

Judith at the Drakehouse retail park store was a very knowledgeable lady who we found very helpful in making our decision to buy the correct mattress within our price range.

Nothing was to much trouble for the man that looked after me,he told me all about the bed that I had chosen,I was able to try the bed out,and tried a great pillow that I hadn't intended to buy.it was so comfy that I thought why not and bought that as well,I want to thank you for being so attentive.

The customer advisor was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He gave us good advice and guided us through available options, enabling us to reach a satisfactory decision. Both he and your follow up systems for ordering and delivery were very efficient.

A month ago I was in the carpark outside Bensons For Beds on Archer Road. I'd just finished my lunch and had some crumbs left in my crisp packet. I sprinkled the crumbs on the floor for the crows that were in the area.
At that point an overweight, red faced, late middle aged man came directly towards me and shouted at me for what I had done.
He assumed I did it maliciously and with full knowledge of the issues the businesses on Archer Road are dealing with (I didn't). This person was very aggressive verbally and tried to be intimidating.
I pointed out, very calmly, that I was a member of the public with no idea about the bird issues that were going on. I also pointed out that he was wearing a Bensons For Beds t-shirt and that he was representing the business and was doing a terrible job of it. He continued to berate me for things I had no idea about then waddled off.
I let the dust settle then went into the store to make a complaint about who I assumed was a divorced, down on his luck warehouse worker. Turns out that I was berated by Lee, the store manager.
I got head office's details and emailed an official complaint regarding his threatening behaviour to a member of the public. I got an automated reply saying they would be in touch within 5 days. That was a month ago and I have heard nothing.
Benson's For Beds obviously don't care at all about customer service. They clearly don't care that their store manager is aggressive and threatening to members of the public.
I have looked at the stuff Benson's sell and compared it against their competitors and to my mind Benson's products look cheaper and overpriced that alternatives out there.
I would recommend that anyone thinking of going to Bensons avoids it like the plague as they only want your money for providing the absolute bare minimum at best in terms or customer service and product. It was a terrible experience and it was handled really unprofessionally at every stage.

Richard, the salesman was extremely efficient. He dealt with my requirement in a professional, friendly way and did not try to push me into making a decision. I was very impressed and am now looking forward to the delivery of my new bed.

The sales person, Jane, was absolutely amazing. No hard sell, just friendly, helpful, informative and professional. I didn’t purchase on my first visit and decided to return mainly due to the sales person. I purchased a king size bed and base and was pleased with the price and more so with the high quality and friendly service. Jane honestly couldn’t have been more helpful. I recently bought a bed base from bensons thinking I was getting a good deal, 15% off if I purchased it before the Tues of the coming week so I bought it in store that day. It was a two week delivery so it gave me a chance to decorate the room it was going in. The base arrived this morning 19 May 2020
Unfortunately for me I found out that Bensons had further reduced my purchase another £200 after making me think that I would loose out if I didn’t buy it before the Offer ran out. Pressure sales tactics at their best. They’ve refused to offer me any money back or even a good Will gesture so as far as shopping at Benson for beds again that’s me done. I would suggest to anyone thinking of buying from them dont, buy it online elsewhere and check terms and conditions first

From shop to delivery could not have asked for anything better.
