The car was not prepped or checked against the Approved Used Car checklist and the salesman was very blasé about the problem with the satnav. The warning bells should have sounded loudly when it wasn't possible to tax the car, because the V5 hadn't been surrendered properly so the car was still taxed. The list of niggles was endless to the point that we felt compelled to reject the car as we had zero trust in the whole dealership. this does not feel like a BMW dealership, NO staff in any BMW logo or any name badges, this was a first for us after being BMW owners for over 20 years.

Joe and Isaac explained everything thoroughly so that I understood all the options available to purchase the new BMW.

My BMW (under warranty) was taken to Berry Croydon after the boot malfunctioned on 27 December 2026 and smashed the rear windscreen. The vehicle was recovered and delivered by BMW Breakdown.

In January, I was quoted for the repair. After asking them to reassess the actual fault, we agreed a price of £1395. When I went to collect the car, no work had been done and the price had increased to over £1,900.

When I decided to take my car back, I expected a normal diagnostic charge, but instead was asked to pay nearly £1,000, including charges for courtesy parts from BMW UK.

I found the staff dishonest and lacking transparency. They also provided misleading information to BMW’s complaints department, which I have evidence of in writing.

Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

Extremely unprofessional! The staff seemed inexperienced and unhelpful. Tried to book in a warranty recall but was constantly passed around from different departments. Then when I actually got to the right one, I got no answer! Very poor standards from Berry. Signed up with Stephen James as you get high quality of service there.

Second time I’ve booked my car in and been promised “ready by end of day.” Second time BMW Berry Croydon haven’t delivered. At this point it’s not bad luck — it’s a pattern.

I needed the car for an airport trip and had to pay out of pocket for alternative transport because they couldn’t meet their own deadline. To make it worse, you can’t even get through to anyone on the phone to get a straight answer. Stop overpromising, start communicating, and give realistic timescales.

In 2023, Berry Croydon MINI gave me a brilliant deal on a new MINI. In 2024, they got back in touch and somehow managed to upgrade me again to another brand-new MINI on yet another fantastic deal. Fast forward to last week and I was put in touch with Berry Croydon BMW, where I’ve now secured a brand-new BMW 1 Series - once again on an unbeatable deal.

I live around 300 miles away, so every purchase has meant a 300-mile round trip, but it’s been worth every single mile. Their deals genuinely are unmatched, and the service has always been excellent. That said, I have to give a special mention to Joseph at Berry Croydon BMW, because his service has been nothing short of exceptional.

From the very first contact last week through to delivering my brand-new BMW this week, Joseph has been absolutely outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, communication was spot on throughout, and his knowledge is second to none. You can instantly tell he genuinely loves what he does and really knows his cars. He’s a massive credit to the business, and I truly hope he’s recognised and valued by the management team - he’s an absolute star.

I’m now looking forward to enjoying my new 1 Series, with the complete peace of mind that when I’m ready for a change again, I’ll be in very safe hands. Three brand-new cars in three years, all involving 300-mile round trips, probably says everything that needs to be said about how good Berry Croydon really are.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Berry Croydon. A damaged suspension arm the day before driving to France, put a really important Xmas family holiday in jeopardy. I went to Berry's at short notice, and the amazing Matthew sorted everything out. Getting a replacement part and the work done in record time, with Connor and others coming in early to get it fixed. I really can't thank Matthew, Connor and the team enough.

For an “Approved Used” BMW dealer, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, transparency, and care. The condition of the vehicle and the quality of aftersales support have fallen far below the standard one would reasonably expect when spending this amount of money.

Process was honest and straight forward. I got a good deal. Better car newer car. Common sense is what I expected. Very happy with the sales man who want to sell cars. No fluff. Excellent.

I purchased an Approved Used BMW from this dealership for over £26,000, paid in full, with the expectation that it would meet the advertised standard and condition. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing from the outset.

The car was delivered with clear cosmetic issues on the paintwork that were not disclosed or properly addressed prior to collection. The dealership carried out three separate “touch-ups” to try to improve the bodywork, but each attempt made the paint finish worse, leaving visible dark patches and uneven marks, especially on the bonnet. Even one of their sales staff admitted that portimao blue was out of stock so they had used a different colour, which has contributed to the poor finish.

When I raised these concerns, the dealership repeatedly dismissed them and relied on a handover document I had signed, claiming that it meant I had accepted the vehicle’s condition. However, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a signed handover form does not override the requirement for the vehicle to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Despite pointing this out, I was met with defensiveness rather than genuine accountability.

I also later discovered that the car had significantly more mileage than advertised (advertised at around 33,000 miles, but actually sold with over 35,900 miles). This discrepancy was only noticed weeks later, but it is another example of the misleading nature of the sale and lack of transparency.

Throughout my dealings with the dealership, communication has been poor, the quality of the bodyshop work unacceptable, and the overall attitude dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility, they’ve relied on legal technicalities and offered “goodwill” gestures that have not resolved the issues.

Expedited sale, due to me going away on Friday. So all information laid out, I agreed, and all digital paperwork signed and car will be ready by Friday morning for me to pick-up and hand my old car back.

Good collaboration and communication with Swayze through out via email lots (as I am on the phone all day)

Well where do I start I took my car to have a new airbag fitted it drove to BMW perfect they had it for almost 2 hours I got my vehicle back eventually to find my tyres had 62 PSI in them and they swear black and blue they never had that psi in them they damaged my tyres and rims that resulted in me needing new wheels I had oil taken out my engine without my consent but let’s face it the MAIN STEALERS close ranks and cover each others backsides being a mechanic myself this would of been no more then a 15 minute job almost 2 hours later my vehicle comes out with more issues then it had in the first place AVOID AT ALL COSTS COMPLETE AND UTTER CON MERCHANTS

Great customer service from Heena. She helped from start to finish with my order and was very knowledgeable about the cars and the specs available. Refreshments offered and was delivered a brilliant service
