Receptionist was very rude
Receptionist was very rude. She was helping someones eals i was waiting for my turn took over 10 min. I got baby with me i ask am sorry how long it will take? She said as long as it take u wait..! So i left next day same person i asked can u plz look i booked my older child for class here with out looking she said no its not here. I showed her email oh yes its here.(no aplogey) afternoon she drop swimming hat on the floor for my child still no sorry !!! Honestly....

My son and I attend the Canons site in Mitcham, and it's always a lovely experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are very good for the price.

I love this gym
I love this gym, as some one who has not been the gym in years I was worried about what i needed to join, etc. The receptionist Anna was so helpful, kind and reassuring she talked me through what documentation was needed, she helped me to down load the app and showed me how to access the gym and how to book activities and explained the rules etc. even when I ask Anna to confirm things just to see if i had it right in my mind. My son is in canons mitcham since 2016…
My son is in canons mitcham since 2016 still he's 96% ,now they introduced a new thing ,they have reduced to 59% ,they are giving some silly reason ,again I have to spend 2 years and my money in canons ,all of sudden they reduced to everyone ,its a scam ,we trust trust pilot ,you are giving wrong idea to public ,toilets not clean ,receptionist are so rude ,she's polite to certain people everyone knows that ,I complained to canons, but no action ,and now they reduced everyone percentage ,inexperienced teachers ,they do no even what they are doing, gor my daughter they haven't done the assessment more than a year, there's lots of things going on ,all im asking please don't give 5 star for canons ,please investigate before you recommend to people ,they are scam ,imagine my son is in swimming class 10 years ,i have proof ,each time we ask something at the reception, she always give rude answer ,last year also I complained about that ,but no action taken ,

We sent our lessons and courses members' emails regarding the change in progress before this occurred.
This was to let them know that we were changing the structure of our courses, and you may see a change in your child's progress online.
However, we would then assess them and remark on their progress online.
Please note that this was a temporary change that would enable us to roll out the new course structure.
We appreciate your concerns regarding the cleanliness, our swim teachers, reception team and the change in progress.
We're more than happy to raise this with the wider team for further review.

My grandson stated that he loved it
My grandson stated that he loved it! considering it was his first swimming lesson. He was nervous and a bit apprehensive . He said that the tutor was very friendly and made him very welcome. He is looking forward to going next week

Sarah was amazing, very helpful. Knowledgable and she helped me to process my requeat to freeze in the app. She was patient and did not rush me.
The customer service was truly helpful, polite, and full of resourcefulness. They provided a solution and patiently talked through the steps to freeze the account, making the process smooth and reassuring.

Bad service by staff in Mitcham soft play
I wanted to have a party booking for my daughter's birthday but Canons soft play in Mitcham had no availability. They did however have slots available for sessions so I decided to book for my daughter and her friend. I understand the center would have been very busy on a Saturday but the staff were treating customers like they were dirt on their shoes. Shouting at customers to leave and threatening to kick people out, coming over and being very argumentative and aggressive. One girl who seemed like she was the supervisor came over to kick my party out for having outside food, when clearly every family in there had brought their own food. Nothing is stated on their website or in the centre itself and the party bookings catering for themselves they just have tables reserved. I did not appreciate the way I was spoken to. I did pay to be there and before any food was given to the children I had asked one of the staff members who had told me it was ok. Very badly organised. They have time slot bookings and should be able to control the amount of people entering and over staying on their bookings, instead of shouting at people.

I loved the location of the gym
I loved the location of the gym, I felt safe in the environment, the equipment was well maintained and there was a good variety of equipment within both the gym spaces.. the fitness spaces were fine too however I did feel that at times there were a lack of staff on the gym floor between the two spaces, which meant that this impeded my gym workout as there was no one there to guide me how to use the equipment! The trainer showed a lack of real interest when asked to devise a personal training plan, instead he told me that I should book him as a personal trainer. I felt isolated and this later led to me cancelling my membership. I would however recommend this gym as the location is lovely and I otherwise felt safe there.

Please be advised that you may always schedule an induction with the fitness instructor to establish a program for utilizing the machines in the gym. This will enable you to comprehend the safe usage of the equipment.

Excellent low cost community leisure centre
Regularly attend Aqua Aerobics classes - instructors are excellent, friendly and supportive of people of all abilities and take into account injuries etc. Staff at the centre are friendly and helpful too.
The pool changing facilities are a bit basic but generally clean - however this is reflected in the membership fee for this centre. It would be nice to have somewhere to hang costumes to drain excess water in the communal changing area.
