I did Aerobics with Rebecca, and really enjoyed it very much. Made me realise I can push myself to get fitter.
Every class I’ve done I think they are excellent. Always fun and enjoyable.

Great facilities at a reasonable price
Great facilities at a reasonable package price. However the air conditioning in in the fitness studio at York stadium is inadequate which means if you work out hard it can make you feel faint - if the temperature of the studio was sorted it would get full marks!

Disabled Parking is definitely an issue…
Disabled Parking is definitely an issue on a night as people who are not disabled and come to use the football pitches Park in these spaces, resulting in actual disabled people not being able to park anywhere. This is a real issue. Nothing is ever done about it, even though many complaints over this are received.

Healthwise staff are amazing
Healthwise staff are amazing, the gym and pool areas are kept clean and tidy and the staff are always on hand to assist when needed. Would be 5 stars but the pool isn't available after 7pm on a Tuesday night

A top fitness centre
I’ve started attending the gym on a referral. It’s an excellent place and there is a very caring attitude there. You are well instructed and the whole place is equipped to a high standard. My health trainer is very helpful and I’ve been made very welcome.

Mixed review
Better has been a good company in terms of value for money, however unused months are still charged and are almost impossible to get refunded without a Dr's note (if you can even get to see a doctor for chronic pain) so they lose points for me on that front, however customer service canceled my membership permanently with no fuss and were efficient in doing so.
