Absolutely shocking. Had car for 2 days, broke down, and they will not have car repaired under warranty!! 2 days!!! Car has been at one of their approved repairers for nearly 2 weeks now and no works carried out as they will not approve under warranty. And it is a mechanical fault so it is covered, or so they say when selling you the car. Once you have the car, you are on your own.

Booked an appointment to see a car that was two hours drive away, was told on the phone by Ruth "the cars been reserved for you" as I panicked when the day before the status changed to reversed. Guess what, they had reversed It for another customer and not told me. Absolutely shocking. Awful as everyone says. Also on the phone the refuse to discuss details of the 3 months warranty and the website purposely confuses you by implying the T&C of the standard warranty are the same as the RAC extended one, they are not. Red flags all around. Terrible.

Contacted big motoring world about a Nissan Xtrail and confirmed with main sales team was available, wanted more information which the sales team couldn’t provide and was advised to contact the Warrington branch who had the car and then they would call back later to check in, so I contacted the branch who also confirmed the car was still available but the sales team was busy dealing with other clients so confirmed someone would call me straight back, I expressed my interest in the car and agreed for the call back, after not receiving a call for over an hour I called them back, Was assured again the vehicle was still available, I again expressed my interest and said I really wanted the car and was worried about it getting sold whilst I was still awaiting on a call back, was told to place the holding deposit and assured they wouldn’t sell it. So I placed the deposit and confirmed I would I prefer the car to be moved to where I was and was assured this could be done. In the meantime someone in between came into their branch so they sold the vehicle to them because it was easier basically selling the car out from underneath me. I think they obviously didn’t want to lose out on their commission as the car needed to be moved and I was speaking to the main call centre sales team. So they ignored the fact that I was the first customer in line and sold to someone else. Then called me and told me it was sold.
Disgusting customer service! Really heartbreaking!
To add insult to injury after dealing with this ordeal with Warrington branch the main sales team called me back to check in if I wanted the car! To which I told them again yes but you have sold it to someone else!
Honestly I don’t think these big dealers actually care who they hurt as long as they sell quickly and get their commission, screw customer service and honesty.

Great experience with ease, but the only thing I would mention is our appointment was at 11am and we even turned up a little late and still had to wait 30 mins to get seen

I bought a car from big motoring world on 1st June and it is now 15th June and I've not been able to drive it because as soon as I got home the car doors would not LOCK leaving the car vulnerable to theft. I made 2 complaints and they would not accept responsibility or acknowledge my rights under the customer rights act. One member of staff even lied to me. DO NOT USE THIS DEALER IF YOU EXPECT AFTER SALES SERVICES AS YOU WONT GET ANY. There is a 3 month warrancy on all cars and the claim team are professional and polite but be careful of the garage chosen for you.

Booked to test drive a Volvo EX30 and immediately received emails, texts and calls to comfirm this. Turned up for the test drive only to be told that someone had reserved the car the day before so therefore could not test drive. No phone calls, texts or emails to tell us this. Looking forward to being offered the costs back from my wasted 3-hour round trip?

This company will take your money and laugh at you.
Three months since I bought the vehicle and it's still faulty, still sat on my drive. Big Motoring World are laughing all the way to the bank. I can't believe in this day and age, a company can operate in such a manner.
You have to pay by bank transfer to make sure you have no additional card protection and can't get your money back when they have scammed you.
They deliberately and knowingly breach the Consumer Rights Act.
Don't even bother responding with your fake, meaningless replies. You aren't sorry and you aren't doing anything about my complaint. You don't care, you are just there to make as much money as possible. You should be embarrassed to work there.
I can't wait for the day these people are shut down.
