Usually you need separate software for everything; but with blender you can use it for video editing, sculpting, modeling, animating (both 2D and 3D) and more.

From my experience, I can say that it's special in doing everything that you need for making a short film. Very useful, and completely free, 5 stars.

I basically use it for smoothies and shakes and it's perfect for the task. Also, I mistakenly locked my blendjet, with a short video, the customer representative got me back on track.

Simple and effective. And have a lot of tutos to introduce on 3D.

Amazing app full marks

In my simple opinion, since 2.83.X LTS approached we are experiencing on how much general performances through CUDA (so Nvidia partnerships) rocks but details, even tiny, makes the real difference with Maya and other competitors.

One of the actual weakest points are the UV checkboard and the UV unwrapping so, by consequences, not great performances when you jump to texture paint.

The UV checkboard should be applied as visible/non visible into the UV editing menu, under View>Display>after the really useful Stretching option. The UV unwrapping is still a total mystery to me even when I use external plugins like UV Packmaster Pro (paid version) because from my instinct is just a matter of weak algorithm during the calculation. Unfortunately, this lower precision generates other troubles highly visible when you switch to Texture Paint by consequences. The texture Paint menu should implement Layers in order to give a sense to the alpha channel concept itself and a simple&essential set of digital brushes that mimic same intuitive and artistic attitude we saw in Corel Painter series (with the possibility to load up additional set of brushes). I don't ask to mixing colors directly on screen (that would be a dream!) bu you know, maybe in 3.0 Beta?

Keep up the good work and please, support OpenCL via Linux systems with a better synergy with AMD. We need to use the Radeon Pro series at 101% especially during those crazy times of mainstream shortage due to mining activities.

This program is Incredible
Been using it for a long time and I can't stop using it!

It works perfectly. I have a 4gb ram laptop and its smooth and isn't buggy!

Maybe Linux and some others are more important, but this is one of the best open source projects of all time.
It’s a great 3D program that does just about everything and that’s put a lot of effort into great documentation.
If you’re into 3D graphics, download it for free and try some YouTube tutorials. Lots of fun to draw and play around.

This an amazing free software to learn and build in 3D. If you're interested in 3D design or modeling, I highly suggest you check out Blender, especially before committing to any of the paid options out there.

Viele Bugs!
Es sind viel zu viele Bugs in dem Programm!!
Werde es nicht mehr lange nutzen wenn das nicht behoben wird.

Ich nutze Blender bereits seit mehr als 7 Jahren und es hat sich in dieser langen Zeit vom Außenseiter, der von Hobyyisten genutzt wurde, zu einer vollwertig integrierten Suite gemausert, die nun auch mehr und mehr im kommerziellen Bereich Anwendung findet.

Dabei steht die Software nicht etwa hinter den Lösungen, die mehrere tausend Euro kosten (3ds max, Maya etc.) - sondern der Vorsprung wird immer geringer.

Eines der innovativsten Elemente an Blender ist sicherlich das Interface. Komplett anpassbar, lässt es sich auf die eigenen Bedürfnisse zuschneiden und baut zudem stark auf Tastaturkürzel. Was anfänglich etwas Verwirrung stiftet und vielleicht etwas Einarbeitungszeit erfordert, stellt sich sehr schnell als effizienter Workflow heraus. So modelliert man mit Blender weitaus schneller, als dies mit anderen Paketen möglich ist.

Zudem wartet Blender - da es kostenlos ist - mit einer großen Community voller begeisterter Künstler auf, sodass man schnell Hilfe findet.

Es läuft auf allen gängigen Betriebssystemen und ich persönlich nutze es zusammen mit Adobe After Effects und Adobe Photoshop.
