It took a while to receive my blinds but when they arrived I could see they were well made and I was very happy with the way they looked.

However, what first greeted me when I opened the delivery box was the toxic smell! I then took the blinds out of the box and the chemical smell filled my room. I had to open the windows but the smell wouldn't subside. I got friends to check the smell for me, to make sure I wasn't exaggerating. No I wasn't, they agreed, the smell was awful!

I contacted Blinds UK, whose customer service was prompt in replying. Unfortunately they were unable to resolve the smell omitting from the blinds. I was later informed by them that it was coming from the blackout lining. My beautiful blinds had to be returned, as they were unusable, as I am sensitive to toxic chemicals - they make me ill.

So a word of warning to anyone who is chemical sensitive. Ask if any chemicals are used on the product you are wanting to order, before you place your order. I wish there was a notification on their website about the chemicals used, so people with allergies/sensitivities are aware. Or that Blinds UK offered a chemical-free range for people like us.

Gorgeous well made blind perfect colour match for my requirements…. Delivery was fairly quick to. If you want a quality blind pay a little extra and you won’t be disappointed.

I measured my window recess and placed my order. However I was second guessing myself to remeasured the recess to discover different sizes. I contacted the company straight away to give them the new size. They sent out my blinds but they were too long. I contacted them again to give feedback and they sent another set of blinds that were the correct size. Very efficient. Very professional to deal with. Would recommend.

The wooden blinds are truly special, they add great value to my room. Will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!

Selection of colours and materials for roller blinds was great. Blinds arrived in a few business days, and they provided us with step-by-step instructions on how to install them on our windows. We decided we need new blinds for most of our windows. We ordered wooden blinds, roman blinds, and rollers. Although it was a pretty big number of products, they managed to deliver them in a matter of days, something which was a very pleasant surprise, especially considering our past experience with previous blinds suppliers. Our home looks completely enhanced and it was for sure a great decision, the prices are competitive, and the customer service is wonderful. Will likely use again.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with my Roman blind.
I was slightly hesitant, thinking the price was just too reasonable but supplied the measurements of my very wide window and waited.
The blind fits perfectly, was easy to fit and the look and finish is outstanding. Fantastic service.

The whole installing process was done with ease, even though it was our first time ever doing it. Instructions are very good. The value for money that these people provide is fantastic. I don’t believe there is a better deal out there, especially considering how fast the blinds arrived to me, in less than a week to be more precise. Very happy with the quality and speed of delivery!

No fuss. Fitted perfectly. Blinds arrived in only a few business days, and I am very content with the way they look and how good they fill my windows. I am soon going to place a bigger order for more blinds like these. Would highly recommend this company. We will return for more orders.

We have ordered a few samples first then placed an order using their measuring guide. Website is easy to use, and they are doing a fantastic job. The blinds came well before the expected delivery date and fit perfectly. I honestly regret not founding them sooner because I would have done most of the house for almost half the cost. All in all, blinds are exactly what I was looking for and whenever I need to make renovations, this is the place I am coming back to.

I have used this company before and they were prompt with good quality blinds for a decent price. This time the order took forever to arrive and frankly, the blinds looked like sheets stuck onto sticks. I don't think I'll be using them again!

Big order of 5 shutters and 3 blinds. After placing the order got a notification that there would be a big delay.. ok covid disruption its understandable. However when they sent the order to check for approval - they had got one of the measurements wrong. You go through them on the phone and I had to keep correcting the girl as she was getting numbers mixed up. I amended the wrong shutter by calling the girl and got an email confirming the correct measurements. So 3 months later when the order was finally delivered I couldn't believe that it had been made wrong. Also for some reason one of the shutters had been given a different order number and wasn't included. The shutters that were correct were OK and I would say the quality is OK.. because the last 2 shutters were so late I requested they be sent to a different address as we had rented the original property. Of course 1 was sent to the new address while they tried to deliver the other to the old address - which was refused of course. They said they had redirected it, but then forgot to update the courier so it missed my fitter. Basically the admin and ordering procedure for BLINDSUK is old fashioned, inefficient and creaking at the seams.. you probably will eventually end up with half decent shutters, but be prepared for problems. There is no telephone support- you need to complete a chat link then wait for a response... maybe that's customer service these days but can be very frustrating..
11 Oct 21- Update. Just saw Blindsuk reply to this review saying they don't get measurements wrong. Well they got mine wrong big time - the blind they delivered was ridiculous with the "midrail" about 1/5 from the top. Because I had the email correspondence and proof of what I ordered they replaced it for the correct one FOC. Blindsuk should hold their hands up..if it was a one off error (which I doubt) then admit it.. but don't just lie..

The blinds have the right measurements. Speedy service and I was being kept informed all the way throughout the process. These do not need dusting as much as other type of blinds and they look very good. This white is exactly what I needed.

We have used this website for 3 times already. Last time I bought rollers and so far they have done their job very efficiently. The blinds came promptly and fit perfectly. We would recommend this company to anyone who is considering purchasing new blinds.

I used this company for a previous house and was very pleased all round.
DON’T ORDER NOW. I have waited ages for various blinds , the carriers off pat answer when you chase them is, ITS BEEN DELIVERED. Well they didn’t get delivered, one driver told me the original order was still in the warehouse when he delivered the remake many weeks later. Subsequent blinds never arrived and a massive book of excuses was relayed over online chat. You can’t speak to anyone and they will not call you to rectify any problems, hence they don’t get sorted. My last blind, which was a replacement unfortunately for one I had damaged didn’t even have my name on the delivery label, so after much begging to get the driver to call me and be guided to my address , they phoned me asking for this company I had never heard of, and it was me they wanted!!!! IF IN NEW BUILD STEER CLEAR. Tuffnels don’t have maps only Google which my post code isn’t on and many other new builds. You will never get your order, go elsewhere.

I highly appreciate whenever a supplier has fast delivery services. The blinds arrived in fewer days than I initially expected, and by following the instructions I have installed them successfully. The thing I am most happy about is how good they synergize with my other home decorations. I have recommended blinds-uk to a close friend who ordered shutters and he too is very satisfied with the result. The website is very easy to understand, and it provides very good deals for the customers. Amazing job, highly recommend!

Used this company ages ago and they were great so I decided to use them again what a big mistake to make! Terrible service, 36 days and I still have no blind! No communication from them I’ve had to chase this company every time to find out where my blind is to then be told the material was out of stock to then being delayed for another week! Why couldn’t they at least notify me?? Perhaps if I ever get my blind I’ll tell you if it was any good!!

This is the third time I am using this website and so far, I am very pleased. The whole family loves both the shutters and the roman blinds we have got so far. Now my kitchen needs some renovation, and I am going to purchase some more blinds from them.
