My mother was really nervous when she arrived at the appointment but the consultant put her at ease straight away. After my mother completed the tests. The consultant put a trail hearing aids in her ears. As soon as mother heard my voice she had a big smile on her face. The consultant was very thorough and my mother can't wait to pop up her hearing aids in 2 weeks time. It will open up a new world for my mother.

My hearing test was very comprehensive and everything explained to me along the way, by my very kind and caring audiologist. She very carefully told me my options as regards the hearing aids most suitable for me and answered any questions I put forward.

My 84 year old mother, has always used boots for her hearing aids, last year she needed new ones so purchased them from boots, they are not fit for purpose she can not hear, so she has lost a year of hearing she has been back 14 times! They have palmed a 84 year old woman off with different excuses, changing this then changing that, new moulds yesterday well that not worked either, so I have rang today and asked for a refund but now she out of the guarantee time, the lady said she would raise a level 2??? So let’s wait and see if we get a refund, I’ll keep you posted (Romsey branch)
