Bosch Waschmaschine stinkt fürchterliche

Ich habe eine Bosch Waschmaschine WAN2812A gekauft. Die Maschine stinkt unerträglich und nicht nur das meine Wäsche stinkt fürchterlich. Ich habe die Waschmaschine 5 mal gereinigt mit Leerläufen und Waschpulver. Es hilft nichts. Dazu kommt, dass die Maschine mindestens 3,5-4 Stunden läuft auch wenn ursprünglich 2 Stunden als Laufzeit angegeben sind. Ich retourniere diesrs stinkende Gerät!

Faulty brand-new Bosch extractor hood and unfair replacement policy

I purchased a Bosch kitchen appliance set from Bosch Ballı Premium store on 07/04/2026. During installation on 09/04/2026, the extractor hood was found to be defective by the authorized service. The motor was unbalanced and producing excessive noise. The product was brand new and had never been used.

Despite this clear manufacturing defect, I was offered repair instead of replacement. When I requested a replacement, I was told that due to a “set discount,” only the invoice value of the hood could be refunded and I would need to pay an additional amount (around 4,000 TL) to receive a new product. I was also told I would need to wait around 10 days for factory approval.

This approach is completely unacceptable for a brand-new defective product. Asking a customer to pay extra money to replace a faulty item is unfair and does not reflect proper customer service standards.

My expectation is a full replacement of the defective extractor hood with a new, fault-free unit without any additional cost.

Still have a pair of unreliable ovens

Still have a pair of unreliable ovens! I have a matching pair of serie 8 single ovens, both have the same faults, both keep going going wrong mid cooking. Yesterday’s family Easter dinner was ruined because they both went wrong AGAIN mid cooking. I will be contacting Bosch repair AGAIN but doubt they will ever get fixed. I just can’t rely on them… utter rubbish! This is over 4 years now!

Perfect except for...

I recently purchased what I believed to be a top-of-the-line dishwasher from Bosch. As a former Appliance Manager at Sears for many years, I’ve long considered Bosch to be among the best in the market. While the dishwasher itself lives up to my performance expectations, the customer service experience has been deeply disappointing.

I purchased this “Panel Ready” model from Lowe’s, which allows you to attach a custom cabinet panel to the front. During installation, I learned that the door uses different springs depending on the panel’s weight. While the unit is advertised to accommodate panels between 7 and 24 pounds, it comes standard with springs designed for panels weighing 11 to 18 pounds. My panel weighs 7 pounds, which makes the door difficult to open smoothly and causes it to slam shut.

The manual instructs customers with panels outside the 11–18 pound range to call customer service. When I did, I was told I would need to purchase the correct springs for $90, plus another $90 for the installer to return. This is unacceptable. If the product requires additional parts to meet its own published specifications, those parts should be included—or at the very least provided at no charge.

I contacted customer support and received a response directing me back to the same phone number, with a suggestion to ask for a discount. When I requested escalation, I received no further reply.

I then searched for the parts independently and found OEM springs available online for around $20—but they were the same as the ones already included with the machine. This raises serious concerns about Bosch’s pricing and customer support practices. The lighter-weight springs cannot justify such a significant markup, and the lack of support only adds to the frustration.

If you are considering a Bosch panel-ready dishwasher, be aware that you may incur significant additional costs and delays unless your panel happens to fall within the 11–18 pound range. This is a significant detail and should be prominently addressed sometime during the purchase process. For a product at this price point, that’s a disappointing oversight and poor customer experience.

Check for warranty service BEFORE you buy

My 300 series dishwasher started leaking when it was 10 months old, still under factory warranty. I do not have an "authorized service center" w/i 200 miles of my home. That said, this review will be about the warranty and horrible, disgraceful customer service. No way to file a claim on weekends so you already have at least 2 days with a broken appliance. Customer service gave me 3 repair services that they would authorize to repair the machine. One (65 miles away) did not answer the phone for 2 days, the other is not accepting any warranty work for at least a month and the third is a retired guy who fixes appliances, is 2 weeks behind, does not do warranty work and will not leave his county. When I called customer service again, I was emailed the same 3 places! This company has "cooperate" offices in at least 3 states. NC, MI and Ca. so I started writing emails and filing complaints. 3 days later I heard from a rep who promised to "stay with me" until the issue was resolved. She said she would escalate to the FSR who found a place with no business address and located 120 miles from my home. My agent assured me they have "satellite offices". On Friday, almost a week later I was given the name and phone number of this company. I called, was told that the schedule would not be made until Monday and they would call back. They never did. I called on Mon, Tue and Wed only to be told that I can not have a date until they "hear from the installers". I emailed my "rep" every day for 3 days and never heard back. I filed complaints with the BBB and the state AG's in all 3 states. I also filed a complaint with FTC for fraudulent business practices. Late Wednesday, 8 business days later I got an email from someone identifying herself as a customer service liaison who said a store refund credit (RA) would be authorized. She said it would take several days to be emailed to the store. She was the ONLY one I had spoken to who would give me her last name and direct phone number so I emailed her several times to give me the RA number so I could start the return with the store. I had already been in contact with the store manager so he was working her from that side. The dishwasher was brought back to the store that night, the credit issued and a new machine (NOT BOSCH) was ordered.
All the customer service people in all the locations use scripted replies with false claims of staying with you, following up and resolving issues. The are masters of stall any way you can hoping you'll just go away!
My advice? DO NOT BUY ANY BOSCH APPLIANCE until you make sure you have what they call an authorized service center near your home, several actually. Take it a step further and call them, and any other service companies, to verify they will accept warranty work. If you do end up like me, file complaints with every agency you can find, email every Bosch executive with an email you can find and be tenacious, don't stop or give up. Call, write and badger them into doing what's right. I'm not on social media, but if you are post negative reviews and let everyone know what Bosch is doing. Better yet, buy another brand!

NO WARRANTY COVER FROM BOSCH

We bought a lot of appliances from them for a new kitchen. The downdraft would not work and we asked for repair/replacement. They denied repair even though we were within their 100 mile service area and demanded we uninstalled, packed and shipped the unit at our expense, if they should attempt to repair or replace same.
In other works - NO WARRANTY COVER FROM BOSCH.

So disappointed

I am so frustrated with this entire experience. My screen on the upper part of an almost 7k unit has broken pixels. I called NFM the day we plugged the unit in with this problem, they told me now that it was delivered I have to call Bosch directly. That was back in August. It is now March and I am still dealing with this issue. Bosch sent a repair company out, they tried replacing the screen twice and both times the pixels remained. The tech from repair #1 said it was broken and something possibly with internal wiring and said they would recommend a replacement. Bosch made me send in tons of paperwork, tens of hours of being on the phone (their hold time just to talk to someone is at least 45 minutes every time you call) finally, I thought I was going to be helped when they said they had to send out a second company to do a final evaluation. This guy just showed up at my house and flippantly and rudely said he didn't see anything wrong with the display and he "has good eyesight". I was so furious I told him to leave my house. You can very clearly see that when you approach the unit from the side the pixels are discolored and broken on the top compared to the bottom. I am so frustrated with this entire experience. We purchased this unit thinking that Bosch had a good reputation and good products. I am so upset that this has been such a cluster to deal with. Bosch has made this extraordinary difficult because they doh't want to do what's right and just replace the unit. I will never buy a Bosch product again. This has been the single worst thing I have had to deal with since owning a home for 20+ years.

Cedimento strutturale pericoloso e assistenza inesistente

​Segnalo un grave difetto di sicurezza su una lavatrice Bosch Serie 4 (Pratica WAN24057II). L'aggancio in plastica dell'oblò ha ceduto improvvisamente, provocando la caduta dell'intero blocco e la conseguente rottura del vetro. Un incidente pericolosissimo che poteva causare gravi lesioni. Nonostante l'evidente vizio del materiale, l'assistenza Bosch nega la garanzia e offre solo uno sconto parziale sul ricambio. È inaccettabile che componenti strutturali così critici siano così fragili. Procederò con segnalazione al Ministero (MIMIT) e tramite associazioni consumatori.

Ridiculous refusal to help from Bosch. See below:
My house was constructed 6 years ago. The builder offered Kitchen Aid appliances. I requested upgrades to Bosch (the entire kitchen, cooktop, refrigerator built-in, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and warming drawer. These were provided by Ferguson (The Woodland/Conroe TX) I paid $18,000 extra for the Bosch appliances.

About 2 months ago the refrigerator portion of my unit failed. The Bosch Service Center could not schedule an inspection of my problem until 10 days after the failure.

The technician came out and discovered that the problem was a failure of the refrigeration system and quoted $2,200 as a repair cost. I was disappointed as my neighbors with the base model (no upgrade) Kitchen Aid refrigerators have experienced no problems. However, I authorized the repair. It has been over a month, and I have not been contacted by anyone with Bosch service. I have initiated 3 calls to your customer service, inquiring as to the status of the repair. Each call resulted in the same explanation: waiting on parts.

It has been a disappointment. I hope you can investigate the status of the repair, along with some sort of explanation as to why I have been without the unit for over a month.

Polite communication, but warranty repair took far too long

Bosch accepted a warranty fault on my tumble dryer, but the repair took almost seven weeks due to parts delays and a lack of prioritisation. Communication was prompt and courteous throughout, but there was no urgency despite the appliance being unusable for an extended period. Ultimately resolved, but the warranty repair experience was disappointing.

When the ordered fridge came, was heavily damaged on 2 sides.

I have no good things to say

I was in contact with Bosch for two months to fix my washing machine and I had nothing but bad customer service. When they kept cancelling on me, I contacted a local repair company and had the same problem fixed in 5 days.
First, Bosch came with a defective part. Then they cancelled on me three times saying they didn't have the part and didn't let me know until the day of the appointment, after I had already taken time off work. Complete mismanagement from top to bottom.

I was ignored by Customer service

rang service area to get a service on my old Bosch cooktop. I was asked for my model number, I gave it to them and they argued with me that the model number was incorrect, it wasn't. I sent a photo of their model number, as I was asked, still disbelief.
This is the worst customer service from a company that I have ever been a part of

I bought a Bosch dishwasher SMV25EX00E…

I bought a Bosch dishwasher SMV25EX00E (EcoSilence) because of the brand’s reputation and the expectation of quality and durability. Unfortunately, after only 2 years and 1 month of use, the electronics completely failed.

I contacted Bosch Croatia – they told me by phone that the warranty had expired and that “nothing can be done.” Only after insisting did I receive a short written reply, without any real solution. I also contacted Bosch Germany – I only received a confirmation that my email was received, but weeks later there is still no actual response or assistance.

The result: I have been without a dishwasher for almost five months, with no meaningful support from the manufacturer.

I understand that the legal warranty is 2 years, but a major electronics failure immediately after that period, combined with this level of customer support, is unacceptable for a brand that presents itself as premium and reliable.

This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Bosch, and I would think twice before buying their products again.

BLACK MOLD

We have had a Bosch series 500 dishwasher for 8 years and love it. Last year it stopped doing the time delay which was annoying and we did not fix that. Last week it started to make a loud clunking noise as soon as it was turned on, even before water entered. With those two problems we decided to just replace it with a new 500 series. BIG MISTAKE. First thing we noticed was the tiny cutlery basket, half the size of the old one so I replaced it with the old one. The .5hr Express wash has been replaced by the 1.75hr Speed60 wash. The inside of the washer looked dirty when we loaded it for the first time but after the wash cycle it still looked dirty. The dirt was BLACK MOLD!!! We carefully unloaded it and did a full sanitize cycle but the mold is still there. The local dealer says this is normal and we should just clean it off. I'm taking the racks out of our old dishwasher and installing in the new one.

Took delivery of a new unusable Bosch range

Took delivery of a new Bosch range. Control panel has an issue and continuously tries to start the oven, it was successful multiple times. Replacement part will take 3 weeks. Thought I was buying quality... what a piece of crap. Warming drawer slides broken as well..cannot leave plugged in or use really for fear of the broiler starting in the middle of the night.

Bosch Dryer Washing Machine

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the Bosch dryer/washing machine and, more importantly, their after-sales service in India. In my 50 years of dealing with various appliance brands, I have never come across service as frustrating and unhelpful as this.
From the moment I reported an issue, it felt like I became a football being kicked back and forth between customer care and the area service engineer. Neither side seemed interested in taking ownership of the problem, and every call ended with new excuses instead of solutions. Weeks passed, and the issue still remained unresolved.
If you are planning to buy a Bosch product, make sure you already have an alternative machine at home, because relying on their service team is almost impossible. Their follow-up is terrible, and the attitude gives the impression that customer problems are not taken seriously at all.
This has been one of the worst service experiences of my life, and I strongly urge buyers to think carefully about the after-sales service before spending so much money on Bosch India appliances.
Be aware, be cautious, and prioritize brands that actually stand by their customers after the sale.

I bought a Bosch dishwasher (model SMS6ZDW48G/38) at the end of November 2023 and it has been nothing but trouble from the start. The fittings constantly fall apart, the cleaning performance is poor, and recently it developed a complete failure with an error code — all while still under two years old.

What has shocked me most is the level of disruption required just to attempt a repair. The engineer had to completely dismantle the appliance inside my kitchen, leaving it out of use and putting my brand-new flooring at risk. I had to take days off work to accommodate the visits, as they only offer all-day appointments with minimal notice.

After over two hours of dismantling, the dishwasher was still faulty and showing the exact same error. I am now being faced with another all day appointment for repair, as they only offer a repair warranty, not a replacement, meaning even more lost income, more disruption and more dismantling — for a premium appliance that should not be failing like this in the first place.

For a brand that markets itself on quality and reliability, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected much better from Bosch.

I now have a less-than-two-year-old dishwasher that still doesn’t work, multiple days of lost work, and no resolution in sight. Very poor experience overall.
