From start to finish in our house buying journey, Dan at the Elgar Park Sales Office was brilliant. Dan has great attention to detail and gave us all of the information we required to be confident in our decisions. All of our queries were responded to promptly and any issues resolved with minimal inconvenience. Dan was friendly, personable and easy to work with during the entire process.

We are grateful for the deal we secured with Bovis Homes to purchase our first property, and are happy that the build was completed to schedule.

My son is in the final stages of getting his Bovis/Sage shared-ownership home in The Hedgerows, Matford Brook Exeter. The sales team, initially Sophie then Amber Luxton, have done a GREAT job so far- always responsive, friendly, very competent and helpful. Amber has given him/us support and clarity throughout what could have been an overwhelming process. It’s so exciting for him to be so close to getting his own home- not something he imagined being able to do without this shared-ownership scheme. We’re sorry Amber has had to move to another Bovis site this week and will miss sharing the joy of him getting the keys on completion…..

David Howard our Sales Consultant at Coggeshall Mill made our customer experience, one that was impressive from the start. Explaining everything really well and keeping us informed along the way. David was very knowledgeable and pleasant to discuss any questions or concerns we had. David has made the whole process so far easy and smooth.

From the very beginning of the experience viewing and then committing to buy a Shared ownership home, Bovis stood out against the other options in the area i was searching.

Their Staff , Sophie at the very start and subsequently Amber Luxton were always quick to respond to queries, well-informed and able and willing to share their substantial experience in the field. Having a Bovis specific team rather than outsourcing the selling process led to a much more satisfactory buying experience for me.

Throughout the process Amber has provided prompt guidance when requested, and liaised with the various professionals and individuals involved in a professional and welcoming manner.

It also stood out when being shown round the estate by both Bovis staff how happy other homeowners were to see them. It spoke well of their work and subsequent satisfaction of customers.

If there was one area of improvement i would like to see, it would be that it would have been nice to finish the process of exchanging with the people we have worked with throughout.
It seems like Amber is needed elsewhere and is moving to another project, so someone else will be stepping in to complete the exchange with me. Seems a shame after all the hard work she's done for us for her not to get to hand over!

Buying a first home through bovis, is by far the worst thing we are doing as a family. 19months of push backs and still not in our home. They are bone idle builders that do not know if homes have been certified to live in. Never again would I use this sorry excuse of a company

Bad after sales customer service. A year in and I’m still fighting to get the repairs done I need doing. After raising concerns of the flooring upstairs where they had cut holes they fobbed me off and a short time later my foot went through those holes. My en-suite shower was taken out and put back in 5 times, two weeks without an operational shower and they also put tiles on that were a different colour and tried to tell me I was seeing things. The roof has had to be repaired. I say this very loosely as it’s been bodged. My back garden floods and I’m awaiting the work to be completed. The kitchen sink keeps going rusty and it has been replaced twice. Everything they use in the houses are cheapest of the cheap. Managers and site managers treat you like you know nothing, then they give you a bit of hope by having someone else get involved before then treating you exactly the same. I have had to submit a claim to NHBC and also raise a complaint with the new homes ombudsman. Hate to say it as the area is lovely, but do not buy with bovis/vistry.

The sales office have been exceptional in their level of service and attention - Jo Karen and Carol have been so helpful in my securing my new home - they have always kept me updated and informed since i first expressed interest. Totally wonderful ladies !

We’ve recently been dealing with Debbie at Bovis Homes and I honestly can’t praise her enough. From start to finish she has been fast, honest, caring, attentive and extremely professional throughout the whole process.
Buying and moving house can be stressful, but Debbie has made everything feel so much easier with her communication, support and genuine care for us as customers. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble, and she has always kept us updated and informed every step of the way.

Everything perfect

Bovis still haven't finished surfacing the roads on the Ribbans Park Development and its been 6 years since the development was supposedly "finished". Because of this the roads are now in a terrible state on the development haven't been adopted by the county council so no authority is responsible for any pothole repairs for example, this has a significant impact on trying to sell the property on the development.

Great service and explanation provided.

Moved into my house on the quarters at Redhill 5 week ago. In those five weeks, I have been told that my address is incorrect and needed changing which has caused significant financial losses and stress changing everything again. And also, I have experienced 3 leaks. 2 of these leaks have been under the sink, the first was because the plumber hadn’t connected the washing machine prior to us moving in and the second was because they incorrectly reconnected the washing machine after changing a kitchen side panel. Over the past week, I have discovered a leak in the bathroom due to them not installing and sealing around the bath/shower door correctly. This has caused severe water damage to my walls and flooring. This company have caused nothing but financial losses and stress to what should’ve been a happy situation moving into my first home.

Avoid at all costs!

Gav showed me round the 3 bed house , he was very knowledgeable about the build and site as a whole . I loved the house however just not ready to move just yet.

Stunning house and always loved the location coming back next week to view the 3 bed sunday the guy Gavin i spoke to was very informative and left us to wander round the stunning house love the brick work and everything about the way the property was dressed
