Dear Customer,

On behalf of Boxlet, I sincerely apologize for all customer support miscommunication and delivery information delays during November and December months.

As a new small business, we had some technical and legal difficulties with PayPal labeling us as a new business and without our approval created refunds from our account to customers whose orders were delayed due to the holiday rush. As a result, we will no longer accept PayPal payment methods and we sent refunds to all clients who made payments via PayPal to avoid further damage.

We understand you depended on us to deliver your items on time as promised and provide all of the asked information about the order. We deeply regret we failed to deliver the high standard that you’ve come to expect from Boxlet.

We are taking this incident seriously. Once it was discovered, we took appropriate measures to ensure it will not happen again in the future. At the moment we are solving our problems with PayPal through a court order and will not be using their services.

I appreciate your patience with us as we further investigate this issue. I’m confident your next experience with us will be up to your expectations.

We hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. We are writing to you today regarding your recent purchase on our website and to express our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience you have experienced.
We have been made aware that some of our customers have not yet received their refunds for missing or undelivered items. We understand the frustration and disappointment that can come with these situations and we want to assure you that we are working diligently to resolve them.
We want to take a moment to explain the situation and why it has taken longer to process the refunds. Our company is currently facing financial difficulties and is on the verge of bankruptcy. As a result, we have had to temporarily cease operations for the next three months while we work to resolve our refund issues and deal with suppliers as they did not provide the stock we paid for. During this time, all refunds will be processed by your bank and this should happen by the end of this month. To speed up the process open a dispute with the bank to reclaim money for the order.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and we would like to assure you that we are doing everything in our power to rectify the situation. Our team is working closely with the European Consumers Law department to review all requests for refunds and resolve any issues.
Please know that we value your business and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter. If you have not yet received your refund, please accept our sincerest apologies and rest assured that it is being processed and will be issued to you as soon as possible.

We’re so sorry to learn of the issues you have experienced with your order. We are sorry for the frustration caused here. First, off we are not a scam website it's not fair to call a young business a scam if the timeframes are not met. If we were a bigger and well know store it would be flushed to delay and that is all, as for now if any problem occurs everyone calls us a scam, that's a double standard for a young company. We don't want to lose clients like this because it's so hard to find them in the first place. As for the delivery and tracking number delays, tracking not showing any movement it's a cause of the busiest months in the year for e-commerce and logistics companies. At some point, it's out of our hands once the package leaves our warehouse (item is shipped) and reaches a shipping company depot. The delays might be caused for various reasons but sadly everything comes down back on us. As for customer service, we are improving on team building and a better system to provide answers faster for clients but our response team went down during the last few months once the order number doubled and also amount of messages doubled. As for PayPal deletion as a payment method, you should research the reviews of PayPal that business owners leave and what troubles come with having PayPal business account to understand this decision. Paypal will refund money to the client for any reason without giving us a chance to provide order fulfillment information and documents. On top of that, they take a fee for every refund they make to a client so once again a double standard for a young company and a great business for PayPal. Just so you know we don't even receive your payment after the item is delivered, how the scam would be possible if don't have your payments for the items? Once again a double standard for young companies as it is easy to call it a scam. I hope you will come back here in 6 months and you will see that the comment you made today was wrong.

Apologies for this terrible delay in shipment delivery. Due to the holiday season, we are behind schedule. Our logistics department confirmed that the shipment is on the way and the order confirmation has bounced back from your email address due to invalid address. As you already asked for refund we can't deliver the item to you this week. If you still would like to receive your order reach out to our management at business@boxlet.eu.
