This company is horrible let me put that 1st. Spoke to 3 people everyone had a different answer I called to move 1 payment to the back because we got hit really bad with Hurrican Beryl. 1st person - yes ma'am we can do that your car note is only 5 days late call back in 10 days, 2nd person hey you need to be 30 days behind in payment call back in 15 days I ask to speak to a supervisor call transferred to specialist she took my information very understanding called me back in 7 minutes no ma'am we cannot do that I asked how can I reach the criteria should I die. I have had this car for 4 years. This is absolutely insane
Bridgecrest
Bridgecrest, the company Carvana used to pre-approve and finance a vehicle I'd purchased, offers a fast and convenient approval process. However, once funded, the loan details are hidden from the consumer, which may leave you feeling cautious about the service. Their website is primarily for making payments, with no option to view statements or download any information. This lack of transparency may leave you feeling uninformed about your financing. Given other options, I wouldn't recommend financing through this company. The high interest rates for refinancing mean I'm stuck with this loan for now.
Helpful and Kind.
I’m not sure why so many people have had problems with BridgeCrest? And I’m not here to judge anyone’s opinion or experience. But my experience with them has been great. I can honestly say. Whenever I’ve been in a rough spot , they always help me thru it. They are always so kind and very helpful in any situation. I truly appreciate how helpful they have been. I’m so sorry that some are not having the same experience.
Terrible
Terrible. Worst finance company I’ve ever seen. They don’t help even when you’ve been a faithful payer. They don’t care about the customer at all. One way or another I’m gonna find my way out of this loan
Horrible horrible horrible
They hold your title for ransom. Moved states and needed to get the title from them. It was an impossible process. The customer service is horrible, put me on hold for hours telling me they were going to transfer me to the title department. I'm just going to pay off the car now, they don't deserve the interest.
zero stars if i could
If i could go zero stars i would do so. There customer service is horrible. Nothing but text book script answers which when there is a true issue does not work. I was selling the vehicle paid it off and it took over 20+ business days for them to release the title to me. But only two days from them to take my obligated funds online. They said they would call prior to mailing title, which did not happen either. Customer service said thank you and we will look into it internally. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
They are THIEVES
They are THIEVES! they have staggering interest rates, my bill was almost 400 so i started paying 400 dollars, the ONLY amount that went to the PRINCIPLE was 100 dollars, the REST went to INTEREST! i decided to pay off my car and they made it VERY hard with hidden fees. they make it very hard!
Seriously thinking of returning my…
Seriously thinking of returning my vehicle, the reason is they take to days to recieve there payment in processing wich leaves you to wait before you pay any other bills.
Pathetic. I made this payment early just for there processing delay and still waiting.
If I could give a negative star I…
If I could give a negative star I would. I have had in the last 24 hours the worst customer service experience. I , in error, made a double payment on my account. One payment cause my checking to go into the negative and the other was paid with my debit card. I immediately contacted Bridgecrest once I was made aware of the situation, talked to a rep who gave me the email to send all of my information. I sent bank statements, payment verifications and so on. She told me to call back in 30 mins to 1 hour to get a status update. When I called back I was informed that they would not issue a refund. The reason I was given was that if the double payment resulted in a payment into the next month they would issue a refund but because my next payment was due on 6/1 and the date was 6/3, I was technically late and they would not refund my debit card. This was the worst display of customer service I have ever experienced. I have made complaints to the BBB, the FTC, and the consumer protection agency. I have also disputed this charge and am waiting for the result of the inquiry. Very disappointed in the service I have received.
This company is extremely unprofessional
This company is extremely unprofessional. Over my years I’ve paid off over three cars one with Wells Fargo, one with capital one, and one with Carmax financing. Every single one of those companies were leaps and bounds better than this company. They are willing to help you out if you run the financial issues at all, this company will not help you no matter what. If you are to buy a car from Carvana, try your best to get a different finance company. I know most people that write reviews are terrible with their payments And always pay late. I can send you a screenshot of the last 10 years of car payments with every single payment on time.
A recent family member has passed away, I was able to spend the last couple weeks of their life with them. I asked for a payment deferment as I was not able to work during that time. I have up-to-date on my payments every single time with my loan, they deny a deferment, when I ask why they say their system says they can’t. No Explanation whatsoever.
Do not finance with this company, do not give them your money, put this company out of business as fast as possible. Just look up their Better Business Bureau reviews and you will see exactly what you’re about to deal with when you finance with this company.
VERY POOR Customer Service
VERY POOR Customer Service. When you call you enter in information and then have to repeat it to the agent all over again, just so that when you ask your question, you can get transferred to ANOTHER agent, who asks you the same questions! While I was fortunate enough to borrow money from a relative and pay off my loan within a week, I agree with others that their interest rate is ridiculous. Also, apparently they cannot just email you a lien release, its 24-48 hours to process a request. Not even sure what the customer service agents do, other than answer calls all day and transfer you around and make you sit on hold for 5 minutes each time. Really worst customer service ever.
the worst financing company imaginable
the worst financing company imaginable. 10 dollar interest daily. Had the car a year now paying bi weekly i dont think principle balance has gone down at all. you're not paying for the car only interest.
Worst Experience Ever
This is by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Despite having an 800+ credit score, the interest rate they offered was unreasonably high. Consequently, I promptly paid off the loan and sought assistance from another lender. Bridgecrest then issued us a check for the surplus amount we had overpaid, only to abruptly place a stop payment on it.
Upon querying them about this, they assured me of a response within 24 hours. It's been over two weeks now, and despite my persistent daily calls, they still haven't resolved the issue. We specifically requested a payoff statement reflecting a zero balance, yet they have been dragging their feet on providing it. Even after numerous follow-ups, we've yet to receive the payoff statement, nearly a month later.
While they acknowledge that our balance is indeed zero, they have failed to send the necessary paperwork confirming it despite repeated requests. This level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction is utterly unacceptable.
Predatory. Period.
This company practices very subtle predatory schemes that are perfectly legal, so watch out.
I make a habit of paying more than the monthly amount due on my car loans. And set up my autopay accordingly. Because I was paying down more on the principle, when I went in to change the amount of my autopay, the app made me unenroll from autopay and re-enroll, which I did. Because I was paid ahead by 6 months, when I re-enrolled in autopay, it would not start auto payments for 6 months. Meaning, if I had not caught that, and a payment wasn't made for 6 months, I would have lost all the interest savings I'd gained by paying ahead.
They claim there is no way to override the auto pay date that the system (programmed by humans) can't be changed.
Further, when I went in to schedule manual payments, the system won't let you schedule more than 15 days in advance. That is a recipe for disaster if you are not totally on top of your bills and finances and have to do everything manual.
They want their clients to miss payments. And they don't want to fix their system because that is how they are making money on people.
These tactics take advantage of people who don't have the knowledge and wherewithal to no how to avoid them.
Predatory. Beware.
Disappointed
Can't wait till I pay this car off. I texted them to say I will pay late, Doing my job by communicating with bridgecrest . I pay on time or even early, the person texting came off like a bully, or a street thug with the line of questioning. 🤔 Very disappointed, then I read all the bad reviews. When the time come and it's paid OFF I want my title fast and quickly. I want them to keep that same energy when mailing my paperwork. I have paid off 3 cars and never experienced such line of questioning
I would rate this company 0 if I could
I would rate this company 0 if I could. Most people who dont have the credit or loan history are trapped into a contract with this company with an extremely high interest rate that does up and down whenever they choose to do so. It's actually scary once you sit and look at each payment and the interest rate that doesn't add up. Also, they have the worst customer service team. They seem like they were hired to hear people complaints and inform customers that there is nothing they can do. DO NOT GO INTO CONTRACT WITH THIS LOANER.
Paying off your loan with Bridgecrest…
Paying off your loan with Bridgecrest is ridiculous. I called twice to get and confirm my payoff amount and I paid that amount. They informed me in 10 days I'll get an email and title release information. Never happened. I called back on day 15 and they said I still owed $2+, had to have a ticket opened for them to review and "fix" the problem. Ontop of that, to see if it was fixed, I had to be the one to call them back because they don't make outbound calls even if it was their mistake.
When I called back, they said I had to pay 0.01 to close my account. 1 CENT!!! It's now going to take 25 days after payoff off my account over a PENNY! because the details and information you request isn't given accurately.
I am beyond frustrated, and I'll never use Bridgecrest again.
They refused to take payment via credit…
They refused to take payment via credit card, yet they accept debit cards. After that, they refused to send me a paper invoice. I would NEVER do business with this clown show again.
Never again Bridgecrest
I have purchased two vehicles from Carvana over the last five years with Bridgecrest being their finance company of choice! After looking at my balance on the Carvana app I decided to pay the vehicle off! I knew that not getting a loan payoff amount would probably mean I owed more than the balance showing however, once the payment cleared the bank I observed that I owed $7000 dollars more! I immediately called Bridgecrest and the customer service rep was probably a nice person but, I could not understand anything she said! I know she was speaking English but, she spoke so fast that her words as well as sentences ran together and made no sense at all! I tried to explain my problem with the balance but all the rep did was echo my words without any explanations! I asked her to put a supervisor on and the line went dead! Now, in reviewing my contract they were indeed correct in their balance remaining figures however, my question as to why the displayed amounts on the website were not correct still remain a mystery, and tells me that accounting for a finance company is not their strong point! This experience was so bad that I will never purchase a vehicle from Carvana again and certainly not finance one with Bridgecrest! It’s too bad, I found that Carvana stood behind their vehicles and customer service but, it takes a lot of attaboys to get rid of one ah crap!
Run, don't walk, to another car company
I bought a car in 08/2023. I was rear-ended on 12/26/23. The car was deemed a total loss, and the nightmare started. Bridgecrest is the worse company in the US. They wouldn't start my GAP claim until they got the payoff check from the insurance company. They took forever to apply it to my account. I had to provide most of the documents to the GAP company. Timeline: car totaled 01/16/24, settlement check posted on 02/22/24 (after numerous calls), GAP check sent to them on 03/20/24 but not posted. I just spoke with Bridgecrest and was told it will take 4-6 weeks before my GAP check is reviewed and processed "because they have 100's of thousands to look at". I've made 3 payments since the car was totaled and now, I'm scheduled for a 4th in 2 weeks. I don't want my credit rating to drop, so I have no choice. They are broke!!! Carvana is broke!!! They are floating money!!! Run as fast as you can to another car company.
