Be careful when buying drinks at bar

Be careful. Possible Fraud from bar staff. They say they accidently charged you a bottle of wine and need management to refund this. The bar staff are high up on a platform and the next thing I know she has walked of with my bank card and come back a few mins later. It happened very quick.
At the end of the concert at 22:40pm Bank text to say, possible fraud transactions of three payments made at BST Hyde park which have been unathorised. I am writing this to make others aware when buying drinks at the bar. Be aware also when tapping your card as they dont say how much your drinks are, they just show you the ipad machine at the back to make payment. You have to ask, how much is that please then tap.

DO NOT BOOK ULTIMATE DIAMOND VIP - It's a scam
Disgusted with BST and Seat Unique - completely destroyed what should have been a VIP experience. I will be filing a legal complaint under the Consumer Rights Act. What happened? I ordered an Ultimate Diamond VIP ticket for BST on 28th June, which was advertised as including complimentary food and drink across all platforms - including the Seat Unique Website, Ticketmaster, Official BST website etc. However, upon arrival, staff informed Ultimate VIP ticket holders, "We're not doing that today". Everybody had been misinformed. In other words, without informing customers, they simply refused to honour most of the perks included in Ultimate Diamond VIP for Sunday 28th June ONLY - meaning that we had paid Ultimate Diamond Prices (£350) but received a lower tier of service. Staff were utterly USELESS and basically just spent the day gaslighting customers.

No where says anything about Mumford n…

No where says anything about Mumford n sons being on at 8.30pm so I wasted almost £300 for the tickets n over £100 on train fares
Do not go… u have to wait allllll day to see one band
And u can’t get a refund waste of money and time considering I’m disabled
P..sed off 😡

Such poor organisation, neither the stewards or staff for the event were helpful and you're treated as a nuisance when you need help or assistance even when we were with someone who has mobility requirements.
Will never return.

We paid a £3 deposit for a plastic glass, arguably illegal, then not allowed to take it and sit on the grass by the stage. Explination, you might discard it and someone might slip on it.

But my waxed paper cup? Fine 😂 plastic water bottles, fine 😂

Just avoid like so many others.

Bought VIP diamond tickets for my…

Bought VIP diamond tickets for my daughter and myself as a treat, then decided to upgrade to the ultimate vip diamond package, which according to the email sent to me included food and drinks as well as merch.
Upon arrival we were told this was not the case, and we only have the merch, and that food and drink were not included. We were not the only customers this had happened too, there were many, all extremely unhappy and waiting for management to let the staff now what to do. In total I had paid approx £300 a ticket. Why would anyone upgrade for just merch? This wasn’t even exclusive merch, but a bst T-shirt and a tote bag.
This had already dampened our day.
We were all waiting for about three hours, after which we were given a couple of food vouchers and about 5 drink vouchers. How is this unlimited as stated.
I have since logged a complaint and been in touch with BST on social media, and am still waiting for a response to my complaint. Shocking customer service.

Seriously Fun but Don't enforce their own rules and festival etiquette is dead

Firstly to talk about what went well, the staff member I was emailing with prior to the event was lovely and allowed my celiac mother to bring in her own food with a medical exception letter we presented at bag check.

I went to see Ateez on the 28th and it was awesome love the group and I will always be Atiny.

Now to talk about the negatives:

I was in Diamond VIP having paid £179.00 for both me and my mother to get a lanyard included with the tickets bag check was far too casual. The sheer amount of people I saw in the queue and in the event that had bags larger than A4 and who had prohibited items was insane. There. were 40+ people with professional cameras and lenses who were not staff at or near barricade directly in front of staff and they weren't confiscated. It is clearly on the prohibited items list. It must be said when I saw Stray Kids in 2024 in GA there was a girl directly in front of me blatantly using a selfie to record Stray kids directly in front of staff who did nothing meaning this is a consistent issue of this event. If an item is prohibited don't let it into the event and if your staff can't even be bothered to confiscate them that's a major safety risk to both the attendees and the artists.

Secondly, my ticket came with a special lanyard only to find that I have to go all the way into the GA area giving up my spot in Diamond VIP to get it even though there is a merch stand in Diamond VIP. I am also pretty sure that if you wanted the AMX cups as well you'd have to go all the way to GA as well and given they are the only way to get a large bottle in the event for free that's insane.

Thirdly, there were only two water points in the entirety of the Diamond VIP area both of which by the entrance far away from the stage so you'd have to give up your spot to get water and yet bringing in water or a bottle over 500ml is against the rules. This is a huge safety issue as many people once they have a spot are very reluctant to move and by the time the last act of the event is coming on no one can move enough to get out to get water, just a recipe for disaster and obviously a ploy to try and make more money in the bars. Sacrificing the safety of the people at your event just to make more money is a huge red flag.

Now to give credit cups of water were given out by staff from the barricade but they are tiny cups and the staff had to rely on the attendees to get it to the right people and half the time the water would be spilled by the time it got to the person.

Also they seriously need to give more cups of water out before the major act there were so many during the minor acts but the second Ateez was coming up next it's like the staff just disappeared I think they gave out one round of like five cups in the gap before Ateez whereas Taemin and Flo had like 20 separate rounds of like 5-6 cups.

Fourthly, the event seriously needs to crack down on the people who sit down in the pit in-between every act. Now if they actually moved everytime they were asked it would be fine but 4 girls in front of me and hundreds of others sat down multiple times and when everyone was instructed to stand up as people at the the front were being crushed they just laughed with zero consequences from the staff. Security staff need to be IN THE CROWD to remove these kinds of people who just don't care about the safety of the event. Even if they aren't removed from the event entirely they shouldn't be allowed to stay where they are actively causing people to be hurt without giving a shit. It's a standing event put actual effort into enforcing your own rules or people get hurt it's pretty simple.

Five: Several people camped out from 4am which is explicitly against the rules of both BST but also Hyde Park they should've been removed from the event by staff or told they needed to leave until reasonable queueing times. Now I understand the wish to get there early for barricade the people who camp out from 4am stink, are more likely to collapse from dehydration or exhaustion and literally piss and shit themselves to stay in line which is disgusting. I'd personally like to believe BST is not so desperate for business that not kicking out the campers who I've literally watched wearing diapers and pissing themselves is a reasonable option.

Six: Now this isn't super important but the lack of Ateez centralized merch was a major let down this year the only things that even mentioned ateez where the t shirt and hoodie with the setlist. Whereas, with Stray kids in 2024 there were so many options that featured Stray kids. I mean the event wasn't even selling any Ateez official merch which is a major miss as so many people buy the lightsticks they use at the concerts/festivals they go to.

To conclude I would recommend coming to BST it's very fun and affordable but just don't expect the event to enforce its own rules and the festival etiquette will be awful.

We paid for VIP tickets & got pushed back for late sale tickets £10

We paid for VIP tickets, we queued from 8am for the gates at 1pm. Then BST pushed us out of the way for people who turned up an hour before and sale tickets cheap last minute to push us away from where we stood quite a distance to the side away from the barrier we were standing infront of the event that we paid a VIP price for. No wonder they have 1.8 on reviews. Unfair!!!

Rules, Security ignored!!

As I stood queuing I could see that many people had large bags and rucksacks. As they went through the checks nothing was said and the bags were given a cursory check at best and a quick prod with a stick, Security?

Inside I watched people unzip their large bags with flasks, sandwiches etc appearing along with some chairs! These items hadn't been concealed they were in bags that were very clearly prohibited yet Security staff had made the repeated decision to ignore, WHY?

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace. People packed in like cattle in 32 degree heat and not an ice cube in sight! Nasty warm drinks, not even a lousy straw would they provide. It’s bad enough having to drink nasty ready made drinks but for them to be as warm as the sun just ruined our day. My husband was horrified by warm beer in cans. Utterly dreadful. Paid over £550 for two tickets which were supposed to enable us to be close to the stage but it was impossible due to the amount of people. The food was inedible. BST broke the world record that day for the amount of people they crammed in! Multi multi millions they made this day by treating the customers like scum. Never again even if the acts are phenomenal.

I have bought 2 tickets last September…

I have bought 2 tickets last September to see Garth Brooks.
This was my dream, since i was about 20 something, but never managed, so it would be a treat for my 50th Birthday this summer.
I'm not a concert goer, i didn't know what to expect. I didn't know its a festival, and Garth Brooks actually not on til almost 9 pm, so we went in the red hot weather, cue is horrendous, no water points.
I have asked 6 people in that 3 hours walking gates to gates, as they told us to go different gates numbers, because nobody could tell us where to enter, where was the vip hideaway.
When we got there finally, find out he's not playing for another 5 hours, i was devastated.
My sister flew out from Hungary,im live in Leeds,but our hotel were in Hammersmith. So we decided call the day off, because no way we will stay another 5 hours. The way it was organised was absolutely rubbish. Very disappointed, and cost me fortune. 😳

We were told that the entrance for VIP HydeAway was Gate 17 when it was 12, however due to an incident that no one could say what it was, the gates weren’t open at 1pm (VIP are supposed to have access 1 hour before general admission). The queue was horrific on the hottest weekend of the year. No water points and very few staff to help. Absolutely ridiculous and it’s not what I paid a fortune for.

Really frustrating

Really frustrating, BST emailed me with upgrade options , I have been trying to purchase them for 24 hours, all my payments have been declined , I have reached out to BST , they said to speak to ticket agent , seat unique said it’s BST that is doing the individual offer , I feel like i’m being fobbed off and pushed from pillar to post , one of the reasons for wanting the upgrade is that my husband had had a back procedure since booking the standing tickets so we thought getting the upgrade would give u the opportunity of seats if needed , It has been an awful experience just typing out messages to endless emails/instagram , and the phone number just tells you to look at website .
please BST , can you help !!

Bought tickets for a friend using Amex and ticketmaster - unable now to sell the tickets - unclear when the tickets will be available and there is a connection to this BST app. In a million years would not consider buying tickets for a BST Gig again. They assume all the audience lives in walking distance of Hyde part and has to make no travel arrangements etc

Aggressive security ruined a special night

We attended the Olivia Rodrigo concert and got separated from our group at the end of the night. I was with two 8-year-old girls whose parents were on the other side of the park. Instead of helping, security staff aggressively shouted at us to leave because the park was closing. Their behaviour was hostile and frightening, and both girls were left in tears. We eventually reunited with our group, but the incident completely ruined what should have been a joyful experience for them. I submitted a formal complaint months ago and have only received automated responses saying it’s “under investigation.” No resolution, no accountability.

Get the big screens in sync!

Please get the big screens in sync!! 2 years ago for Billy Joel they were out of sync and just been to see Stevie Wonder this year and again, the screens were out of sync with the music! When you're relying on the big screens to see who you're meant to be seeing it's really important!! I've been to smaller gigs with a much smaller budget and they've all been perfect.

Overall, both times we've been to Hyde Park, it's been really good. Staff were helpful, water supplies great, extensive food choices (although a bit on the expensive side!). Didn't see any trouble either times we've been. Options to stand further out so you're not in the thick of it. Had the big screens been in sync it would have got 5 stars.

Stopping people taking their own food in is mean. Not everyone going lives in London or is earning a London wage. We travelled from Edinburgh by train which was expensive, then a night in a hotel, plus the actual cost of the concert. It all mounts up to a very expensive ticket!! To then be forced into spending more money on food when you're in the venue is just rude!!
