Dealt with these vile people during my divorce 2018.its no surprise to see in 2025 they continue to be incompetent biased against the father and completely fail to put the needs of children first over the man hating rhetoric.

I’ve been invited by my barrister to pursue CAFCASS in a formal complaint and if needed within the court of law.

The report writer was incredibly skewed with her thought processes. Refused to hear from anyone other than the father, the child and myself. Had she have bothered to do so her report would have been very different.

Report writer also has no real understanding of EDI nor LGBTQIA+ within children. In fact went as far as to accuse of me of forcing it onto my child.

The report writer mainly relied on a report written 8 years prior by a colleague while I was still in recovery from domestic abuse. Report writer decided to start interviewing us and writing her report a meagre 12 days before it was due.

Also if you deep dive CAFCASS, you can tell they don’t care especially if you look up FOI requests etc. They’ve also refused to release their framework when requested.

Their report to the judge assumed guilt of the alleged offences (no charges have been made- because these are clearly false allegations to stop contact)
They “would not support” ANY contact with the children (despite having no previous record of any abuse in a 9 year relationship).
Told the case had been CLOSED!! when called to provide relevant information as to the welfare of the children. No information. No reason. Still no contact
Likely an admin error? Is that a good enough excuse?

cafcass wrote their report. said a drug test of the mother wasnt necessary.
Therefore allowing the mother to avoid scrutiny by referring to cafcass recommendation.
Even though there was evidence provided to social services, the stepdown plan clearly stated no drug use when caring for child, no drug driving etc, a drug test was rejected during mediation, rejected again when asked by cafcass, they still said drug testing wasnt necessary, which allowing it to be rejected again in court. even though i offered to pay for it so there was no financial burden on the mother, and i clearly stated only moderate or heavy use.. not recreational. this is a class a drug im speaking about, and dependency.
Cafcass would rather the mother potentially put the child at risk rather than allow decisions be made based on a clear understanding of the situation, if it isnt beneficial to her to do so

If there was any real power in these review this agency would be shut down my LABOUR. It is an absolute JOKE.

After losing our Son, his wife stole the most second precious things in our lives, our grandchildren (WHO ARE NOW THE MOST PRECIOUS). We had this vile woman from CAFCASS who gave us a sense a security only to rape us after the interview and became JUDGE and JURY and decided our grandchildren who we raised could no longer been seen by us as their VILE mother claim we abused her. NO EVIDENCE provided and no matter how many videos and photos we showed of the mother being happy CAFCASS did not care AND STATED VIDOES AND PHOTOS PROVE NOTHING. Really, never mind the countless family friends and relatives who could support us, who were present and could give first hand accounts but once again the claim it was not relevant. We are guilty because we have no PR RIGHTS and mother said so!

We have to provided evidence at great cost but the mother has LEGAL AID (at tax payers expense) and gets away with accusing us with the world of allegations, and make sure the courts block us from going public. Well CAFCASS you are not fit for the service you provide and really should review your processes, you really do not care for the children, you focus has been the adults relationship. CAFCASS focused on all the false allegations of the mother without any supporting evidence. In court the judge discredited this CAFCASS, I will not name her, but this CAFCASS officier is VILE. Our barrister destroyed her evidence that she relied on then the Judge himself stopped our Barrister and question her directly. It was discovered that her bosses TOLD HER to make this decision.

We also discovered that the her bosses are not trained, they have no knowledge of how to deal with any form of physiologic issues with children, this CAFCASS official made claims that later during our contact with our grandchildren we 100% false which makes you think that she clearly was not telling us the truth as she claimed.

CAFCASS needs shutting down. We need to start a petition, they are not fit for purpose.

Very descusting dragging a child threw court. Bridie. What a mess don't even think of what a child's needs are. My child even shown her face to face what his wishes was and then ignored it all. Then told by a dump of a solisiters threatens me with child servers don't trust them at all they don't cear about children who are cleared for they hate dads and think they know it all and then force me to pay over £2000 for a dump. Centre don't involve them at all saty well away of them pick on children who have a loving dad. But don't take cear of children who have parents who are drug addicts. Crack heads

CAFCASS are worthy of missus five stars. By default CAFCASS obediently supported social services vexatious misinformation.
Please allow me to explain, at the beginning of this heart breaking ordeal GCC were in year four of Ofsted's special measures.
CAFCASS didn't bat an eyelid that GCC's Children's Social Services flawed Assessment had fallen fowl to a formal complaint, which was eventually upheld by GCC. All of which resulted in an offer of financial compensation and the orginal case social worker having their license to practise revoked by social work england. GCC then brought in two new workers to mop up their own mess. The first was a former probation officer, semi evangelical Christian with approx 18 months experience and another was from an outside agency. She was a former hairdresser with DIY tattoos and just 12 months experience.
CAFCASS took a entirely disingenuous and lazy approach. It was a truly barbaric and heartbreaking experience.
We spent almost 3 years in family court. I eventually discovered through FoI that although GCC wrote to us before court proceedings began explaining they had formally ended all involvement in the case. However, this didn't stop them directly emailed the CAFCASS case worker during court proceedings trying to influence the outcome.
I recieved 5 phone calls in total, some lasted up to 20 minutes from the case worker. We never met in person. CAFCASS interaction with the education services was literally a tick box questionnaire.
Despite their lack of diligence this didn't stop the CAFCASS case worker writing 30 pages of misinformation which surprise,surprise lent heavily on the the vindictive and misleading narrative from GCC. There were blatant examples of parental alienation before and during the family court case.
Throughout that time my parental rights were throw in the bin.
I implore anyone who becomes entangled with CAFCASS to tread very carefully. They are not your friend, they don't support or acknowledge that children can be victims of parental alienation. They couldn't care if you feel bereft. My advice is challenge them, if you feel they're misrepresenting you or your family.
In truth, it's a disfunctional process. 0It's also true they're overwhelmed by incredibly large case files. Consequently, they allow themselves to be compromised whilst looking for route of least resistance and they'll cut every corner to get there. Do they care that children need both parents, or if you never have an opportunity to see your child again, probably not.
Remember, don't be afraid to push back. Question them if they introduce heresay evidence. Tell them if you believe your child has been weaponised.
In all honesty, the service CAFCASS provide isn't fit for purpose. Its cruel and dehumanising process often resulted on brutal outcome for the children and their families.

I had a truly outstanding experience with Cafcass. From start to finish, their team was professional, compassionate, and deeply knowledgeable about family dynamics and children’s needs.

The course I was enrolled in was incredibly insightful and supportive, providing tools that genuinely made a difference. I want to give special thanks to Miss Lynch, who went above and beyond. She took the time to understand and assess not only both parents, but also carefully analysed my child’s emotional well-being and individual needs.

Miss Lynch’s approach was thoughtful, child-focused, and rooted in empathy. She played a crucial role in helping both sides of the family come together for the benefit of our child. Thanks to her guidance, my child is now able to experience love, support, and a meaningful relationship with both parents and extended families.

For anyone going through the difficult process of family court and child arrangements, I wholeheartedly recommend Cafcass. Their work truly makes a lasting, positive difference in children’s lives.

Totally corrupt, child abusers, who lie, falsify reports, commit perjury, defame and slander.

Actively engage in parental alienation and disability discimination.

They are the main cause of harm to children in the UK, not any parent. They are in it for the money, power and access to vulnerable children, not to safeguard!

They actively engage in judicial fraud and corruption and are simply gatekeepers for the corrupt judicary and deep state.

I have evidence to back up everything I claim and some!

I came here to just have a look at what was presented about Cafcass and I am shocked that mainly one star and I thought I was the only one suffering but this tends to be the pattern.
Similarly, the section 7 report is completely biased and frames me as a bad parent by putting in false inaccuracies and omitting parts of the conversation of my response and not putting in key details in order to come to an end analysis, which is not in my favour. My problem is to listen to the inaccuracies and put the key details as well as my response to just create a fair picture and then come to your end and analysis. I don’t care what the end analysis is as long as my voice is heard and it was not it was framed for me to be a bad parent as I am the only Active parent so I have been very hurt by this and I will take it all the way to ombudsman and make sure she gets reprimanded or loses her position for the sake of everyone. This woman truly needs retraining. My son had to even point her in the right direction regarding her inaccuracies and she only changed one of them to please him. there definitely tends to be an underlying jealousy on her part and it’s very important as a trained professional you remove yourself from the situation. She has left me distraught and paralysed.

Why are you still allowed to operate ? An absolute disgrace

I cant really go into details as I'm raising a complaint. If your ex partner has involved CAFCASS be prepared for the worst. I haven't spoken to a single person or read a report that paints CAFCASS in a good light.
There is absolutely no regard placed on honesty, if your ex partner has lied about you, you can present as much as evidence as you want. It will be ignored, this is bank statement, Doctors reports, police reports all ignored.
I had to force the CAFCASS officer to read my ex-partners medical report from the court files. It was still largely ignored.
All i can advise is complain and keep escalating. Too many good parents are being forced to abide by a biased section 7 report. If the you have a section 7 report that you believe is wrong. Immediately contact the CAFCASS officer who wrote the report. Query the report, they wont change there mind. Then escalate to their manager, from there escalate to the CAFCASS complaints in slough. Be sure to chase the letter up within a week. They have 4 weeks to reply, in currently on week 12. From there escalate to your member of parliament and the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO).

Too many good people give up, it needs a concerted effort to get this horrible corrupt and biased organisation shut down

CAFCASS is a broken, rotten, dishonest and father-hating 'organisation' staffed by creatures who believe that they are above the law. I'm not a Trump fan, but this country could do with someone of his ilk (very briefly) to simply close it, as it (CAFCASS) does far more harm than good.

Applied for custody of my child. Cafcass had somehow portrayed me to be an absolute monster and recommended that the court not allow me any contact with my son. Despite him clearly wanting to live with his stable, employed father.

Her report highlighted all the reason why he should be with me then in her professional opinion, she went off into a different dimension.

This has to stop. Kids lives are being ruined.

CAFCASS staffs are terrible, they are there to take sides. The staff said they will help me with my case, took so much of info from me, then used my words, weaponised against me in the court. The staff behaved as if she was a qualified therapist (deluded staff) assumed things, imagined stuffs, potrayed me as a criminal in court, forced to change my child's name. The staff I had was worse than a knife crime. I felt like being stabbed on my chest with brutal force. Discriminated my faith, used my faith as a weapon. The staff was here to make money and not build relationship. At the end of their assumptions, they say, at the best of child's interest. I really love to mention the staff name, but I dont want to. I am writing to formally raise a Review regarding the conduct of Cafcass Representative in her role as a Cafcass officer during my family court proceedings. Her actions demonstrated unprofessional behavior, including rudeness, intimidation, and a lack of fairness, which has significantly impacted my ability to maintain a meaningful relationship with my child.
1. Intimidation and Unprofessional Conduct
cafcass Representative acted in a rude and intimidating manner during our interactions. She subjected me to an aggressive, last-minute questioning session—15 questions in just 20 minutes—immediately before my final hearing. This added unnecessary pressure to an already difficult situation and was an inappropriate way to engage with a litigant in person. Her conduct was dismissive and unprofessional, particularly when she abruptly stated that I was “not obliged to answer her questions” only after the legal adviser entered the room.
2. Failure to Listen and Respond to Concerns
Throughout the proceedings, cafcass Representative failed to acknowledge or respond to my concerns. She repeatedly referenced incidents from 2022, despite no further issues occurring since then. I have fully accepted the court’s findings and completed a 13-week Freedom Program as recommended by the Magistrate, yet she refused to acknowledge my rehabilitation efforts. Instead, she discredited the program and disregarded my commitment to improving my role as a parent.
3. Lack of Clear Communication and Guidance
cafcass Representative authored a 15-page Section 7 report consisting of 56 paragraphs, yet she failed to provide any clear guidance on necessary courses, resources, or steps I could take to regain direct contact with my child, restore my parental rights, or revert my child’s surname. She did not explain the assessment tools used to form her recommendations, either in the report or during the final hearing. I have attempted to seek clarification via email, yet she has not responded with any helpful information.
4. Short-Notice Requests and Procedural Unfairness
cafcass Representative failed to act fairly and impartially. She arranged last-minute questioning just before the hearing without prior notice or explanation. Additionally, she sat next to the mother, Respondent, during proceedings and admitted to having multiple private phone conversations with her before the final hearing. Such actions raise serious concerns about procedural fairness and potential bias.
5. Lack of Transparency and Professionalism
Cafcass Representative responses during the hearing were vague and non-specific, yet she criticized my answers as being too general. The hearing transcripts indicate that her own statements lacked clarity, and she did not provide a proper framework for me to address any concerns raised in the case.
She was accompanied by a colleague, who appeared visibly uncomfortable with Cafcass Representative behavior but was unable to intervene, as she was present only to observe. During my meeting with them, I recorded the interview for personal reference. However, cafcass Represenative stated that I was “not allowed to use the recording elsewhere,” which raises concerns about transparency and fairness. This restriction contradicts my fundamental right to a fair trial under the Human Rights Act 1998 (Article 6: Right to a Fair Trial).
Request for Resolution
Given the seriousness of these concerns, I request that Cafcass:
1. Conduct a formal investigation into Cafcass Representative conduct, including her unprofessional behavior and potential bias.
2. Provide a clear explanation as to why no guidance or remedial steps were included in the Section 7 report.
3. Ensure that Cafcass officers remain impartial and do not engage in private communications with either party before hearings.
4. Review internal procedures to prevent litigants in person from being subjected to last-minute, high-pressure questioning without prior notice.
I trust that Cafcass will take this Review seriously and ensure that future cases are handled with greater fairness, professionalism, and transparency. Please confirm receipt of this Review and provide an update on the next steps in your investigation.

The cafcass worker had made her mind up before she even rang me didn't listen to my side at all and was clearly biased against me because I'm a man theirs clear evidence my ex is abusive but cafcass turn ablind eye because she's a woman. Dont expect to be treated fairly if you've not got a vagina.
