Engineer arrived soon after his text and repaired my dishwasher without any fuss and gave me helpful advice about when to use the cleaners.

Huge markup on spare parts
They charge an initial fee to visit and then fix which works well as they quote it in advance. But they also charge a huge markup on ordering spare part and they will not accept if you get spare part yourself (even if original manufacturer part). In my case they charged me 3 times the online price of original Bosch part while the one they finally put was not even original. I had no option but to let them do it since they already charged me service fee at first visit. Other than that the engineer was good and process is easy.

Hi Sid, Our call charges are less than Bosch and are unlimited visits to complete the job, I think we have identified you as you called in, The part supplied by us is a genuine original Bosch part, We do not fit customer sourced parts as our insurance will not cover it and you would also not get the 12 months warranty on the part that we supply, we don't try to compete with online companies as you can always get them cheaper if you keep trying, We had to impose this after the Grenfell Tower House fire as you may be aware this was started by a faulty component on a fridge freezer, Bosch would also not fit parts supplied by us, we would normally quote you the part first and you would have had a choice to proceed or not, you obviously chose to proceed. Great customer services. Constantly updated with timings of arrival and engineer was friendly and knowledgeable, sorted the machine quickly. Highly recommend.

The engineer came as arranged, he had the replacement part with him so it did not take him long to do the work. A very pleasant young man, job done, top oven working again. What more could you ask for.

I found the whole process very easy
I found the whole process very easy. The team booking the appts were very helpful. The engineer was very punctual and explained everything very well. The service was excellent all round and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Capital Repairs to others.

An absolute Scam !! Forget it !!
An absolute Scam ! They charged me over £300 to “order the part” for my job induction. And promised to have somebody come fix it by end of feb (I called them in January). I still haven’t heard of them as there are ghosting me on emails (this whole month) And refuse to cancel the work or send a refund and don’t give any set date as to when they will come and to anything.

Stay away from this company, a total rip off
First of all, I have booked the job after 12pm and their engineer came much earlier disrupting our work schedule.
Secondly, the engineer was very rude and intimidating. Moreover, he was refusing to park on a street that is literally 1-2 mins walking distance.
Thirdly and most importantly, we were charged almost £100 for an engineer to come for literally not even 5 minutes to tell us we need an electrician. When I booked the repair call out at CapitalRepairs i selected the electric hob and would assume you cover any potential fault with an electric hob particularly when i mentioned is likely to be the switch or a wire and I ve never been told you don't cover electrics. Your one off call includes labour just as stated on your website and confirmed via phone call.
This is absolutely unfair and unacceptable. I kindly ask for a refund (given payment was already made) or revise the cost for this simple diagnosis. So unfair & such a rip off. Truly disappointed.
