The Club was formed in 1907 as ‘The Caravan Club’. 110 years later in 2017 we wanted to reflect our broadening membership and became the ‘Caravan and Motorhome Club’.
We are an inclusive club, representing the interests of over 1.1 million caravanners, motorhomers, campervanners and campers providing our members access to over 2,700 quality campsites across the UK and Europe.
As the No. 1 rated UK touring club, our purpose is to help our members get more from the great outdoors.

Hello Ray, thank you for your feedback. The club works with flexible pricing . One of the Club's ambitions is to ensure there is a pitch at a price for every member. Many members love a ‘back to basics’ campsite whereas others prefer a full facility campsite with a shower block, play area and restaurant. However you enjoy your holiday, be it midweek in the summer or only ever at weekends in the winter, we have a massive variety of sites and pitches at different prices to suit every budget. Like many other campsite and leisure organisations, the Club offers different prices during different times of the year depending on popularity. At most of their campsites, you know what to expect. Good clean facilities, well laid out level pitches, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff and information about the local area. The app is easy to use and there are campsites in most areas of the country.

Haven't been to many club sites but the ones we have been to are always; clean, well maintained and run by friendly professional people. We mainly use CC sites via the club website and rely on the accurate info and reviews before booking.

Overpriced
Club sites are very good indeed, but way overpriced. Club Membership is good for the access to CL sites.

Stays so far
All of the campsites we have stayed on so far have had excellent facilities with friendly staff who are on hand to help with any queries. Locations have been scenic and peaceful.

Worth the Membership Subscription
The UK sites are always well maintained and kept clean and tidy, with good size pitches and good toilet and shower facilities.
On most sites the site wardens are friendly and helpful.
The Head Office Overseas Team are especially helpful when booking overseas trips or if there is any kind of problem whilst overseas.
The Hosts of the Winter Sun Holiday Rallies we have attended have been great - welcoming, communicative, friendly and helpful.

Excellent to deal with, excellent website to use well though out, brilliant community to be in, loads of great sites to stop at in numerous locations which can cover what ever you are interested in hiking, walking sitting on the beach etc

Club sites
We have had a caravan or Motorhome for 20 years and have used club sites for all that time. 95% of the time sites have been to our expectations but we have stayed on a few sites that either the site or the wardens haven't been to the high standard expected. I also think that the larger sites would benefit from having a restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and evening meal. I know that more and more sites are having fully serviced pitches (what we like) and updated WiFi reception.

Full payment as deposit over weekens
Main issue is with trying to book weekends , thursday to tuesday we cannot normally get in as on the odd day sat/sun we cannot book as all our dates are not available, so you have to keep your eye out for when they cancel.
Personally i would take the full amount they book as a deposit as it would stop people booking loads of dates then not turning up …

Not happy with adult only trial
The club sites are nice and clean but are getting a bit expensive. I mainly use the CL’s, just as nice but cheaper.
Their latest idea is to introduce more adult only sites, not for me I’ll stick to CL’s thank you
