Cannot even get an order to go through !!!!

This site has such beautiful active wear and I was so excited to get a bunch of new clothes and it really is a shame.

I could not have had a WORSE customer experience. This is the first experience I have ever had with a company. I have had 3 cancelled orders in the past 3 weeks.

Not only have my orders been cancelled by their system after I have received an order confirmation, but then it has taken multiple days to let me know. I didn’t even get an email notifying me my order was cancelled for this last one - I had to reach out to customer service as it had been over a week with no shipping email sent following the order confirmation.

Each time the customer service person was not able to give me ANY information on what went wrong and suggested it might be my credit card - I used 2 different cards on the 3 orders and they are the same cards I use day in and day out. Also the charges show as “pending” so clearly they can go through!!

I have now spent HOURS wasted of my life looking for and ordering a bunch of new clothes, re-looking for clothes when the ones I originally tried to order were sold out (twice), and emailing with customer service.

I would NEVER order from this company again and honestly at this point don’t even know if it’s possible !!!

I have received an order where the sizing is completely off

I have received an order where the sizing is clearly very off on one of the pairs of pants.The pants did say final sale, but I ordered a size up from my normal size and still cannot get it past my knees. I should not have to pay money to something that is defective. I requested a return, nothing. emailed and it bounced back. Emailed a different internal email twice and heard nothing back. For such an expensive website, you think the customer care would be better. super frustrating.

Update: I did receive the label as soon as I posted here. I will wait to see the refund process before updating again.

I purchased Nike Sportswear indio woven pants and the sizing was off. I requested a return label and never received it. I tried emailing their returns email address as their website requests and the email bounced back. I emailed customer care with no response. I called the customer care line with no answer. This is really unacceptable and the first time I've had to deal with a process like this with a "legitimate" website.

No updates, order lost?

Placed an order on 11th Jul, it is now 5 days later and I haven't heard from carbon38 since receiving their confirmation email. I am located in SE Asia and even for an international delivery - for which I was charged USD30! - this seems like a very long lag time. I am especially worried since the charge has been deducted from my card, but their customer service has been non-responsive to my multiple queries. Disappointing and worrying. Not the customer experience I expected given the store's price point.

Edit: Customer support made the effort to get in touch with me following my review. Parcel was slow but given the current situation this wasn't unexpected. Revising my review accordingly, though I wish I didn't have to air negative views about the company in order to compel them to respond to my queries.

Carbon38 does not respond for returns

Carbon38 does not respond when you want to do a return! Smells fraudulent. They do not send the return label as instructed on their website. They don't pick up their phone and I have yet to get an email response asking for a return label for the leggings I purchased that I don't like at all. Very poor customer service!

I ordered the white snakeskin leggings and sports bra outfit; was sent two sports bras instead. Reached out to every form of customer service contact I could find, every single day since receiving the erroneous order, with zero response. I currently receive multiple emails from Carbon38 daily, attempting to sell me more; but no customer service response to MY email. Their website will not allow me to leave a review, and there is no phone number listed. I have never spent this much on a pair of leggings and I am not impressed so far.

Feel cheated and worried

I purchased $400 worth gymwears from your page on July 2 and received a confirmation email. And later on within 24 hours, another email came in and said there was an error with my purchase and told me not to worry since I have not been charged . But when I check my credit card statement, it went through.i been trying to call their ph number but due to PST time, difficult to get to them since I am currently now in south East Asian country.

Suspected Fraud -AVOID!!!!!

I purchased two pairs of leggings from Carbon38. They ran large so I re-ordered one of them that was available in a smaller size. I then went to return the ones that were too large and filled out the online website return process just as I do for every other company whom I purchase from online. However, with Carbon38 the RMA and the prepaid shipping label never showed up. So, I emailed their returns email, and the email bounced back. So then I emailed their returns email from an alternate email address, and guess what- bounced back! Then I called their customer service number during their 9-6pm PST hours and guess what? Goes to voicemail. So I tried to call back later in the day to see if maybe they had changed their hours- you guessed it- waited on hold for almost an hour and gave up. So then I emailed their customer service. An incompetent person named "Julia" told me to fill out the online return- despite my already telling her that I had done that and never got the RMA or the prepaid return label, and despite my telling her all my emails to their returns email address, also bounce back.
Carbon38 is definitely trying to cause delays to returns. I have gotten the complete runaround and it's very intentional. I am going to contest the charges on my credit card but there is definitely something very odd going on here. Feels alot like fradulent business activity.

Carbon 38 brand leggings with loose seam

Carbon 38 brand Leggings I purchased from their website had a loose seam rip that completely unraveled on the first wear. I contacted customer support and they responded quickly saying they’d like to help. The rep, Julia, wanted me to provide photos which I did. Then I didn’t hear back for a week. So I emailed the company asking if they received my photos. No response. Poor customer service. This is the first pair of leggings I purchased from them; I’m not impressed by the product or service and likely won’t purchase again.

I bought a $115 cotton ATM crew neck long sleeve tee. It has a hole in the front after the first wearing, never even washed yet. I sent pictures
..response from customer service was that it was normal wear and tear..one wear...they don't care if they sell crap for luxury prices. This is just one in a long stream of negative reviews of this company..stay clear of this company...they do not care about doing the right thing. I will not support this company until they hold their product providers accountable.

Ordered an item on a Sunday evening and…

Ordered an item on a Sunday evening and realized that I input my apartment # incorrectly. Called the next day the second they opened and emailed as well. I informed the rep of my mistake and she said it’s too late to correct since the order is already to be shipped.. I then tracked my package and my item was supposed to arrive on 04/30 (from California to Florida, not bad) why DHL, unsure? Then a new tracking email came in saying my item is in Phoenix and will now arrive May 6. This is my second purchase from carbon38 and the same scenario with DHL.. never again, sorry. And now wondering if my package will make it here and be returned because I put in the wrong info..

Absolute Worst Customer Service

I'm an avid shopper and love Revolve, Shopbop, Bandier, etc. Unfortunately, Carbon38 provides the absolute WORST customer service I have ever received from a "luxury" high-end retailer. I placed one order and the sizing was off for all the items, so I returned them, and just realized that I was never refunded. They automatically "refunded" me in store credit, which is ridiculous as they claim to offer free and easy returns, including refunds to your original method of payment. I placed another order after the first one (prior to realizing that they never refunded me for my original return) and the package was marked as delivered, but never was. I’ve had this happen before and this is the first time that a retailer has refused to refund or replace the items. The only resolution offered was for them to give me the $350+ order back in store credit, which is ridiculous as I would have likely returned one or two of the items, had I actually received them. Because they refuse to resolve the issue, I've had to file a complaint with my bank. I will never patronize them again - there are so many more legitimate retailers with similar products that offer premium customer service to match the quality/pricing of their merchandise.
