Ich wollte eine Retoure Anmelden und da muss man auf deren Homepage die Bestellnummer und die E-Mailadresse eingeben. Gesagt, getan und plopp: Fehlermeldung: Bitte geben Sie eine gültige Bestellnummer und oder Mailadresse ein. Ich habe alles mehrfach geprüft und aus der Auftragsbestätigung kopiert, mit dem selben Ergebnis. Also habe ich den Kundenservice angeschrieben und das Problem mitsamt Screenshot geschildert.
Bekomme als Antwort zu wissen, man könne Retouren ganz einfach über die Homepage (mit Link) anmelden, dazu müsse man nur die Bestellnummer und die Mailadresse angeben.

Ok, die haben#s irgendwie nicht verstanden, dass genau das das Problem ist, denke ich, und schreibe erneut bzw. antworte nochmal mit Screenshot und dem Hinweis, dass das eben nicht funktioniert. Keine Antwort. Also denke ich, gut, dan rufe ich beim Kundenservice an. Im Absender der Antwort, die ich erhielt, steht: Kundenservice Sprechzeiten sind Mo-Fr von 9-18 Uhr und Samstags von 9-13 Uhr. Es ist Samstag, 11:40 und mir sagt dann eine Stimme vom Band, ich würde außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten anrufen, diese wären Mo-Fr von 9-18 Uhr und Samstags von 9-13 Uhr.
Ich bin sprachlos ob so viel Dreistigkeit und kann nicht glauben, dass ein so etabliertes Unternehmen wie Carhartt solche Geschäftsmethoden hat. Wie kann das sein!!?

How are they still trading? They don’t offer an exchange but you have to return goods for a refund and then reorder again. Only most people with an ounce of common sense would never actually place a reorder. Why? Because these bunch of cowboys hold onto your money for 21 WORKING DAYS! Due to the bank holidays, that means they have the benefit of MY money for six weeks! This is clearly an income stream for them and should be investigated! Despite my Royal Mail tracker confirming they received the goods TWO WEEKS ago - and them confirming it in an email - this is to their UK agent. Their UK agent then needs to send it to their Holland branch but guess what? They aren’t chased so they can sit on your goods for weeks to give this terrible company the benefit of your money! It’s a disgusting way to treat customers and I will never ever shop with them again!!!£335 just sat in their account instead of mine! Shut them down!

Good brand lousy service lousy website

Well it's never a surprise to me when I'm about to put negative rating online , and I find that people have already given only star , meaning the company sucks , because that's exactly what i'm here to say. Company sucks, website sucks, customer service sucks, nonexistent...at the prices they charge they need way better service...I give them 1 yr then out of business at this rate!!!

Daddad shirts

My husband has worn Carhartt for years. Our grandsons also are now wearing Carhartt t-shirts and call them their Daddad shirts. I purchased the new womens t-shirts for my daughters and I and now we all have Daddad shirts!

Ich war Stammkunde und jetzt schickten…

Ich war Stammkunde und jetzt schickten Sie mir eine Hose fälschlicherweise in XL statt L. War nicht bestellt. Rückgabe sollte über einen Link erfolgen, der nicht ging. Ich wollte einen neuen Link, dann sei es dann zu spät gewesen. Jetzt Riesen Stress wegen einer einfachen Größe. Die sind nicht mal in der Lage eine Hose von XL in L zu tauschen, geschweige denn eine ordentliche Rücksendung zu ermöglichen. Ich habe so viele tausend € bei dieser Firma gelassen. Jetzt wird es nie wieder was von meiner Seite. Drecksservice

Carhartt Great Brand Lousy Website Lousy Customer Service

Well not surprised their site has 1 star only, it sucks i just tried to make purchase....nothing on their site works, ok so i tried to tell customer service, nope nonexistent, worst site i have ever used! And why is the pricethe same as other sites, your the manufacturer, you can charge whatever you like, so your site really sucks! First and last time i ever use this site, complete waste of time!

BEWARE Return payment can take 7 weeks to come back to you

"Our returns policy states that it can take up to 21 working days for your refund to be processed and refunded once we receive the return in our warehouse. Typically, we expect returns to reach us within 21 working days. From there, it may take up to 14 working days for the refund to be processed."

"WORKING DAYS"
So it could be 7 actual weeks from when you return the order to when your money comes back in your account... Still waiting for my money back!!

First time buyer of this brand

First time buyer of this brand . Very disappointed with the quality. I bought this jacket just for winter season (4 month in the year in NJ) so now it’s about almost 2 years. In the first year I’ve noticed some wear but now it’s just falling apart. I’m NOT sure about the quality and durability that everyone is talking about. I was trying to return it at the store where I bought it but they went out of business. Is this normal nowadays ?

apres 2 ans le boutons de mon baggy a sauté parceque le tissu sur lequel il est fixé a tout ssimplement laché...du jamais vu.

globalement les finitions sont devenue tres moyennes
j ai ecris au sav qui s en fiche totalement et qui ne se base que sur la durée de garantie de 2 ans...

pour le reste c est de la qualité moyenne à basse pour des prix assez elevés. le pire etant leurs teeshirt et accessoires. les pantalons restent bien du fait de leur textile (censé etre) robuste mais sans plus

I ordered the wrong size and called…

I ordered the wrong size and called four hours later to change it or cancel order but was told could not change or cancel. But I received an email from them saying it was cancelled. They lied so now I will need to get my son to send it back. The shirts was for his birthday. Now his present will be late. No more Carhartt

Nothing but a hassle!I

I ordered overalls February 1st. Delivery date was Feb. 13. Finally, after receiving no updates since Feb. 4, I reached out Feb. 20. After looking into it, was told it was considered "lost in transit" and offered a replacement. The replacement process started Feb. 27 with a first and last update on March 2. Estimated delivery was March 13. That date came and went with no package. I reached out again, asked for a refund, was told to give the item 10 'business days' for the item to get to me, before a refund can be considered. Again, last update was March 2. The item has not moved. I have been waiting since February 1st. It is now March 11.
Also was told, the item was backed up in clearing customs. The item was shipped within Canada, with a Canadian address. Why is it stuck in Texas? Not a good experience!

Ordered items 2 months ago, after 1 month I had to reach out to ask about my order which they claimed was ‘lost’ and stated a new one. Just reached out again after no updates and customer service wasn’t able to answer anything other than my order was initially shipped… sharing a tracking link that shows the package never moved.
Now trying to get the order cancelled and refunded with no luck. Stay farrrrrr away from this company

Die Qualität ist echt schlecht…

Die Qualität ist echt schlecht geworden. Mittlerweile bekommt man für viel Geld nur noch Polyester-Pullover. Früher waren die aus 100% Baumwolle und haben die Hälfte von dem gekostet, was sie heute kosten.
Zudem wird im Shop Ware verkauft, die keinen Lagerbestand hat. Hatte eine Hose im Sale gekauft und dann hieß es nur, die Hose ist doch ausverkauft und das war es dann einfach. Der Service ist auch sehr schlecht geworden.

Don’t buy Carhartt - Over priced junk

Wow, how the mighty have fallen. I have been wearing Carhartt for 30 years. In that time I’ve gone through 2 coats. They were wonderful: comfortable, warm, and extremely durable. Now, fast forward to December 2025. I buy my 3 rd Carhartt coat and the zipper never really worked correctly. Two weeks ago it stopped all together, so I called customer support. They were very nice, but did absolutely nothing. I followed the instructions to the letter and was told they would fast track my replacement so I wouldn’t have to go without a coat. Well, two weeks and 3 phone calls later, still nothing. Every time I call, they say they’re going to take care of it, and then absolutely nothing happens. I’m going to go buy some other brand. I’m done with their over-priced junk and horrible customer service. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I would expect the management of support at this level either from a newborn low level company or from a shady one. The truth they are simply not organized to give a quality treatment and probably don't care of the customers. It took more than a month to have a refund from an order that never arrived. but the most tedious aspect is the time wasted with their support process with emails and procedures that were irritatingly unhelpful

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to…

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Carhartt.

My wife got me a couple of Carhartt vests for Christmas — along with a pretty expensive GoPro camera. The vests ended up being too big, so we boxed them up and sent them back.

What I didn’t realize… was that I had accidentally left the GoPro inside one of the boxes before we shipped it.

When it hit me what I had done, I was sick to my stomach. I immediately called Carhartt customer service. I honestly thought I’d never see that camera again. They made a note on the account that it might be in the return box — and then we waited.

Weeks went by.

Tonight we opened our front door… and there it was.

They shipped the camera back to us.

I can’t even begin to explain how relieved and excited I was. In a world where customer service can sometimes fall short, this was next-level integrity and professionalism.

Major respect to not just Carhartt customer service, but everyone involved behind the scenes who took the time to track it down and make it right.

That’s how you build brand loyalty. 👏
