Awful customer service and liars. after they installed our pole barn they called us to inform us about an amount we still owe them. We provided them with the contract and all payments we did pay them, they replied with one sentence that we still owe them money. Anything but professional. they should be in jail.

Same thing happened to me. I ordered the carport in August, 2020 & it is Jan. 2021 and they still havent came out to install. You folks are right, everything from covid to weather. This company is a joke. Folks please read all this stuff about CCI, and run. Dont order anything from them. If you cant get out and install the garages, stop selling them to people.

Carolina carports was 3 months late on delivery. When they arrived, the crew did not want to install the building because we did not have full 3 feet of space around the slab( something that was not discussed with me prior to install). I had to install two sides of the building myself. As the crew was finishing the job, they noticed the door was faulty and communicated to me that they would be back in two week. 6 weeks later, no one from Carolina carports had reached out to apologize for the delay or inconvenience nor did they set up a time to return. I spent the next 6 weeks leaving messages and sitting on hold in excess of 5 hours without any success. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was given an install date that was 2 weeks out. The day came and went and again, no one called nor did they show up. I reached out again with slightly better success and was given another install date and for the second time they did not show up. However, they did call on the day of the install to let me know they never ordered the replacement door. A month and a half later, I receive another call to set up an install and again they did not show up. I missed a call from Carolina carports on a Sunday morning while I was in church but the caller did not leave a message to inform me that they would not be showing up. I ordered tis building in mid June with the understanding that it would have been installed in 4 to 6 weeks. It is now mid December and I still do not have a completed building.

We ordered our 2nd carport from CC on 7/3/20 (the first carport was delivered without issue in 2018). The dealer told us 8-10 weeks and it's now December 2020 and CC has not reached out to us not has our dealer. We've called only to be told our contact person will call us back. At this point should we demand a refund or hire an attorney?

I placed my order through Alan's on 7/28. The Carolina Carport installers finally arrived on 10/15 but brought the wrong garage door. Here we are 4 months after I placed my order and I still don't have a completed garage. The installer won't return to Pennsylvania until they have another order scheduled in this area. I have called customer service multiple times to no avail. BEWARE!! I would not use this company again!

Ordered from Alan’s. Order processed promptly July 21, 2020. Informed it would be 45-90 days for delivery and setup. CCI called early Oct ( prior to 90 days) to schedule. First we knew it was CCI. CCI canceled the delivery 2 days later with no reschedule date. It is now Nov. 11 and still no delivery or schedule. Heather from CCI gave anti-customer attitude, rude, condescending, curt answers and no idea when it would be delivered. She was extremely anti-customer oriented.
Had we been aware that CCI was the supplier when ordering from Alan’s, we would have used a different company.
Definitely do NOT recommend CCI for any carports they manufacture. They don’t provide reliable and accurate information about their service. Many reviews confirm this policy by their company.
Shameful because usually the products are of substantial quality.

We ordered in May. They said it looked like it would be late June. Then it went to July. Then actually got scheduled in August. Canceled the first date that was on a Monday. Rescheduled for the Thursday of same week. I took off work Thursday. They don't show up. I have to call her and she says "oh I was just about to call you, their truck broke down and they will be there first thing in the morning". So now I have to miss another day of work on Friday. Again, I have to call and she says that they still had another job to finish and that they should be there in the afternoon. She calls later in the day and asks if they were there yet and obviously they were not and she says that they should be there anytime and that was the last I heard from her on Friday and of course, no show. Sat morning comes and I call and leave a message and she calls back and says that they didn't pack the right materials and went back Friday. During this conversation on Sat I obviously wasn't happy. I repeated what I thought she had said as far as rescheduling and that it would now be the end of September. She interjects and corrects me by saying "you see, you were too busy talking over me and that's not what I said. I said that it would be the first of September". Well here it is the middle of October and the lady I talked last says that they are booked through October 25 and I'm not on the schedule.

So October isn't going to happen and if the pattern continues it would probably be a pretty safe bet that it won't happen in November either. I have a brand new $50,000 5th wheel sitting in the elements when I ordered in May.

Their customer service and company are a joke. They are liars and rude. They cancel and cancel. Worst yet, didn't show up. Don't let them use Covid as an excuse. I have a camper in a campsite with many carports from "Carolina Carports" and they have been doing this for many, many years. Loong before Covid. It's crazy how many of them have the same stories as me. Owner of campground is older and set in his ways. Unfortunately won't let another company install. We ordered ours in May and it's now mid October and still nothing. Others in the campground said I would be lucky to get it in by winter and now it turns out they were correct. This company is a joke. Save yourself the frustrations and go somewhere else.

Deserve 0 stars! Terrible experience took 3.5 months and 4 different appointments ( they called me 4 different times to schedule appointments and then cancelled last minute) to get my carport installed... Act like your money is no good... 3.5 months and $3200??? These numbers do not add up!

Do not do business with this company been waiting 9 weeks for my carport told everyone my drop dead date to be installed was sept1 2020 they can't even tell me when I'm scheduled nothing but a headache
Save your time go with someone else terribly organized company no organization and no care for there customers

16 weeks later, I'm sitting here after a reschedule and no one has called or anything. The incompetence is utterly amazing,I would not recommend this company to ANYONE looking to get a metal building.

I ordered a carport from Carolina carports, it took them almost 60 days to come install it. When they did, the installer said they forgot to load some of the material but if I let them install the material they had with them that day that they would be back the following week to finish it . I said ok. It’s been 5 weeks and no one has come to finish the job. When I call all I get is a runaround. Looks like we are headed to court. PLEASE stay away from this company, it is nothing but a rip off. Order from someone else

With the exception of one rescheduled appointment (which I was not happy with)
Garcia Installations showed up and knocked it out.
If your looking for a super air tight building for winters in Alaska then this is not for you. You will have air gaps, yes the doors are cheap but honestly for the money I spent I could not have done a stick build shell for the same amount.
Did I know what I was buying? Yes
Am I pleased with the over all transaction?

Install Crew did a great job.

We had our metal building installed in November of 2019 and the roof has leaked ever since. They have sent repair crew on three different occasions after waiting for months to fix the leaks and they still aren't fixed. I've asked for the roof to be replaced and they said they would not. Their latest crew advised us to request a new roof. After three attempts you think they would want to remedy the situation. I also learned they have multiple complaints through the BBB. Additionally, they are a foreign owned company. I wished I would have done my homework and went with an American Corporation but my dealer did not let me know it was Carolina Carports who manufactured my building. I now have to seek legal action to get a new roof. Very unhappy!!!!

this company is horrible. has been telling me for 4 months they were coming to repair my garage doors that have never worked since installation. no one answers or calls back. if you get a representative they tell you how sorry they are and that you are top priority and someone will be there soon. then another month goes by and no repair crew

“Buyers Beware” I’m in dispute with them to fix this disaster of a RV Cover.
The workmanship on my building on a scale of 1-10 is a 1.
The crew that put it up showed absolutely no pride in their work.
The frame most likely is not squared and plum because the metal appears to run downward which caused it to be 3” longer on the top.
Screw placement it sloppy and inconsistent. The braces for the Vertically installed panels have large gaps and horrible to look at.
Now I’m being told they will be sending out the same crew that hacked this job up.
They’re ridiculous to work with! I am definitely wishing I’d went with another company.
If they don’t get it right soon they can come take it and haul it away, I’ll get a court order claiming they dumped trash on my Property!

Don't buy from Carolina Carports, they don't stand behind their buildings. Leaking roof after 1 year and only has 1 year warranty. Garage doors suck, won't open and close well and get stuck. Will not recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a metal garage from Alan's Factory Outlet who apparently subbed the job out to this company known as Carolina Carports, Inc. [For the record, when Alan of Alans's Factory Outlet finally heard about my complaint, he went way beyond the call of duty to satisfactorily remedy the situation which I am writing about here in this review; therefore, in no way should Alan's company be adversely viewed--Alan is a 'stand-up' guy with great principals!] When they (Carolina Carports,Inc) came to my home to install my garage, the installer had forgotten to bring 4 windows which went with my building. Accidents happen, and that is not the problem I have with this outfit. In general they did a nice job except for one rear corner where they ruined the entire piece of siding by butchering some type of horrible metal cutting work--this was not necessary with even the slightest of care about how my job looked. Now I am stuck with an ugly sharp jagged shard and edge with is rusting and just waiting to slice someones foot who ventures near not realizing the danger. Furthermore, when the installer came back about 3 months later to install the 4 missing windows, they brought with them a very bad abusive attitude blaming me for some reason. While here they began to dismantle my building in an aggressive manor until I asked them to just leave the windows with me to install myself. They did just that, and conveniently left my once newly constructed building falling apart with screws removed all my driveway. I am very disturbed about all of this; when I emailed to discuss these issues with the company, all I got was a lady named Heather Smith ridiculing me that why am I bothering them essentially. I have attached a photo of the sharp jagged ripped metal which their installer did and left like that. Heather said the garage is now out of the warranty period, but that she would drop off a new piece of siding for me to do myself; and at no time offered me any apology for the behavior of their contractor, or the terrible siding cut which they had left. Heather has had an anti-customer lousy attitude with me from the gitgo, and its funny sometimes how abusive lousy attitudes seem to permeate through the particular organization as a whole.

To start I was never told they were a non local company until after we signed the contract. Then they never told me there was a onsite inspection fee of $200 so I had no choice on getting it looked at. Then they were trying to make me get the permit which is against the ordinance in KS, MO. I was hollered at and treated like I was stupid. My dad ended up so stressed he had to go to the Dr about his heart and he is 70. I took the project of a simple 20x20 upgraded carport over to relieve the stress from my dad. After months of then failing to not give the proper information to the township to pass permitting, we finally got a permit. They sent the crew out and the vehicle broke down and had to come the next day. When they showed up they did not have the permit with them and to find out the site wasn’t to the guys liking (which we would have known if we had the choice to have someone come out). Now this is a brand new slab of concrete. It was designed to have run off so my elderly parents would not slip on ice. So back to the drawing board of months of townships requests to pass another permit for just higher legs so they could cut off and level what they needed. I was told like 3 times how the supervisor did not think this was possible 🤣 Anyway, they tell me they were coming the 6th in the afternoon and 7th in the morning if they couldn’t finish. The crew never showed never called the 6th so I called CC to find out where the crew was. They had no idea they never showed up and was calling to find out where they were. Mind you day two of taking off of work. After calling them again to try to find some updates after 12noon they told me the they would call again and the crew was in route to our home. The crew was the nicest group of guys. The best about this entire project! They asked us a few questions and told us what they had to do to make it level and 4 hours later they were driving out the driveway. The cutting was not a problem at all like CC was making it out to be. So I was charged a restocking fee of $200 for the other material which wasn’t my fault they couldn’t use, and then they charged me $175 for extra legs of material which understand that, then $75 for the guys to cut off material. It took 13 stressful months of pushing, calling, listening to lies and degrading comments to get the carport my parents wanted. If I were you I would RUN. RUN as far away as you can unless you are local to them so you can show up face to face with this company.

Brought building 24x50 5 years ago roof has fade .after I had brought building no one every call me and ask was everything ok with it. I never buy and thing else from them
