The most amazing salesman Steve . What a fabulous energy and made the experience so relaxing and fun. Absolutely no pressure at all he knows his products inside out and most importantly wants whats best for you not them . Dont often write a review but this one is well deserved .

Picked a good carpet at a good price. Service was quick and easy and pleasant. Would definitely use again.

Went into Perth Carpetright and was immediately advised, no actually I was pressurised into purchasing a wider roll of vinyl than required along with plyboard - no one asked me any questions or suggested a survey of my bathroom prior to purchase. The fitter arrived a week later, who instantly on seeing the bathroom layout asked who surveyed it, questioning the need for plywood sheeting.He arrived with a completely different style and quality of vinyl to which I ordered and paid for, he also advised that we absolutely didn't need plyboard and that we could have chosen narrower vinyl resulting in much less wastage and more choice of designs.
Then had to wait in for the fitter to travel to and from Perth to collect vinyl that I'd chosen. More than half the day wasted. I was promised call backs from the new manager regarding refund - the calls didn't come so I had to contact them. Then, to rub salt into the wound I had to travel to Perth to present my bank card to get refund. Complained and suggested they should add on extra as a gesture of goodwill for all the hassle and extra time and fuel expenditure. Employee was unable to do this and said the manager would call back following day - which he didn't. When I called, just before closing time he advised that he could only offer 10% goodwill gesture and guess what, I would have to travel to Perth (more time and expenditure to me) just to present my bankcard for the credit.

I'll not be going back to Carpetright in future. No if's no buts. I gather they had staffing issues at the time but that's really no reason for so many things to go so badly wrong.

Carpetright were very easy to deal with, helpful staff answered all queries and purchase was dealt with quickly.

From the moment I first phoned to the visit at my house, choosing the flooring was a delight.

Perfect from start to finish made space for a carpet and fitting so quick literally a couple of days notice. Sales gent was very helpful and kind and Fitter was prompt and very clean, tidy and did a great job 5*.

the gentleman who came to measure the rooms was very kind, respectful and gave good and clear advice. He really knows a lot about floors. The gentleman at the store was also very helpful and kind.

The member of staff was very friendly, polite and handled my order efficiently.

My review is now being altered as the fitter arrived without the right amount of vinyl and expecting to be fitting a bathroom when it was my kitchen floor to be fitted, which I had made clear at time of ordering.

I had drawn a floor plan which was retained by the team member dealing with my order, but this had not been passed to the fitter.

I have now had to rearrange my plans as the fitter will now have to come back with the right amount of vinyl.

Quick and easy transaction in store. No pushiness, just great product (I bought a large remnant), at great price, and great customer service. Thank you.
