Whilst Angela was very pleasant, their policy on not giving a receipt for customers not wishing to divulge their personal details is disappointing.

Being told the items are then non returnable and refundable because of the lack of proof of purchase you refuse to offer is outrageous. You can return items to any retailer if you can prove your purchase i.e. bank statement.

Please dont mislead your customers.

Excellent service from Usman and the fitters from start to finish. The laminated flooring was laid perfectly, with attention to detail around tricky corners and edges. The team explained the process clearly, kept me updated throughout, and completed the job on time. The floor feels sturdy, looks beautiful, and has already made the room feel brighter and more spacious.

They did my house flooring and special thanks to Kiran she suggest me the best material ever I am really happy after I purchase that and the staff is really nice especially Kiran big thanks to her for the perfect product.

CarpetShite. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The only good thing about this company is Kelly the sales assistant, she is professional friendly and very helpful and as a company you are incredibly lucky to have her on board.

I was supposed to have my carpets fitted on 22nd September between 3-5pm. This was delayed later and later by the fitter until it was too late to actually do it. He said he would attend first thing the next morning and never appeared. I had to call the store to flag this up and apparently they were unaware.

This was rescheduled for Saturday 27th first thing. Once again I received a call from Mike the manager on the day who had to cancel and rearrange it with some poor excuse. This was two days I had booked off work and wasted due to their incompetence and the only compensation offered was a refund of the fitting fee.

My carpets were finally fitted on the 4th October by a very skilled fitter who had sadly drawn the short straw as his colleagues had told him it was a 1 hour job. It was a very complicated job and took 6 hours. I have friends of friends who work as fitters for this company and I was informed that the reason my carpets were delayed is because no one wanted to do it as it was complicated. This is totally unacceptable when I have booked the time off to have something done and a poor way to run a business.

Fast forward and I have sent two emails and numerous calls to Mike awaiting my refund for the fitting fee. Initially he disputed the fee saying it should only have been £130. I found my original invoice and sent this over on 29th October where it clearly shows the fitting fee is £165. I have only been refunded finally today because once again he was unavailable when I called and I politely confirmed that I would attend in person this afternoon for my refund if I did not receive a call back today.

Absolutely incompetent management and embarrassing customer service. A shame because the carpet is nice and so was the fitter. Avoid unless you're willing to be re-arranged 3 times and have to fight for a refund.

Andrew in shop very helpful and special mention for Steve, the carpet layer, who went beyond and above for his expertise, helpfulness and excellent job done!

Got new flooring and carpets from carpetright new malden and wow im so impressed with this shop.. they didn't bother me while I was looking but when I needed advise they were so super helpful. My floors were done In just over a week .. the futters were amazing lovely guys extremely hard working and hoovered after even the tiniest of fluff. Carpetright contacted me after my flooring and carpets were laid to check that fitting all went well. I so highly recommend this store A1 custom. Well done guys !

I recently purchased carpets for my stairs from Carpetright in New Malden and was helped by Laura, who was absolutely excellent from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient, guiding me through all the options to make sure I chose exactly what I needed. Her advice made the whole process so easy and stress-free. I’m really pleased with the end result and can’t recommend Laura and the team at Carpetright New Malden highly enough!

I really recommend Carpetright. I always use them. I am on a low budget and they are always so helpful in giving me the lowest price they can. I have just placed another order with them. I spoke to Kelly at the Farnborough store. She got the price down as much as she could for me. She was so helpful and friendly. A really lovely lady. I would definitely recommend placing your order with her.

He helped me find the perfect carpet and after I said I needed it fitted urgently, he got me in the following week! 5*

As always had great service from carpetright from taking the order to fitting the carpet. Kelly has great customer care and goes that extra mile, the carpet fitters are really good as well.

I recently ordered laminate and carpet from Tapi Chester. Rowan is a credit to the company and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I popped in a week prior to ordering to look at some samples and when I came back with my partner he remembered our conversation and what I was after. The price, finance options and organisation of fitting has all been seamless. If you visit Tapi Chester, ask for Rowan.

Tapi at Salhouse Road in Norwich I highly recommend from start to finish. Kerry the salesperson was extremely helpful, professional and knoweable in guiding you in what it is you are looking for. Home consultant Shaun was extremely professional and polite in measuring up my home for new laminate flooring and carpets. Darren and his team did an amazing job in fitting my new laminate flooring. I've had so many positive comments on how great it looks and I love it. Paul and his team did an awesome job in fitting my new lovely carpets which look wonderful. I'm so pleased with them and I've have had such great feedback about how good they look. We recently had a fantastic experience with Carpetright New Malden. A big thank you to Saurabh and the team for their excellent service. On our visit to the showroom, Saurabh struck the perfect balance—helpful, patient, and informative, without ever being pushy. He guided us in choosing the right carpet and vinyl to suit our house design and even gave us practical advice on maintenance, including how to keep the carpet clean and looking fresh. Everything was organised smoothly, from selection to delivery and fitting.

Special thanks also to Surjit Singh and his team of fitters, who were absolutely brilliant. They were courteous, efficient, tidy, and a pleasure to have in our home. Communication throughout was excellent, and most importantly, we love our new carpet!

What impressed us most was their flexibility and professionalism. Our installation was initially booked for one date, but due to ongoing kitchen work we weren’t ready. Surjit kindly returned on a later day, fitting the carpet at no extra cost. Later, when we had to temporarily remove part of the carpet in a bedroom for other work, he came back and refitted it—again with a smile and without charging anything extra. His joyful attitude and genuine care made the whole experience stress-free.

We couldn’t be happier with the results and would strongly recommend both the Carpetright New Malden showroom team and Surjit’s fitting team. Truly first-class service from start to finish!
