I have been granted an IVA against a debt but this company keep hounding me for the money despite the IVA company contacting them and the original debter 6 times in writing. Terrible for my mental health which is why I took the difficult decision to take an IVA option in the first place.
Terrible company to deal with. I had a full and final settlement offer which I paid on time. Now sending me demands for the remaining balance.
Terrible after making payments to clear a debt which I have done on time I now owe 0.15p apparently they won’t take debt card for the amount u have to do bank transfer
My bank won’t set it up say it’s a scan with bank details given rang 5 times today most unhelpful people on the phone asked for a mgr told I can’t speak to one and have to wait 48hrs for call back
So 0.15p effecting my credit file n can’t make payment absolutely rubbish unhelpful with no care

I received a letter from this company claiming I owed £80 to DVLA for an untaxed vehicle. I had sold the vehicle infomed DVLA and so on as well as cancelling the DD for the car tax as there is no facility to log in to the website after the V5 log book and in my case section 9 has been sent off as it requires Vin numbers etc if you don't have the log book info which you have to send off, as well as having received the confirmation slip from DVLA in relation to the car ownership or keeper or whatever they call it now... Anyway, I tried expaining it to the operator but she chose to become aggressive and talk over me. I told her I would just say my bit no matter if she talked or not and that would be the end of the conversation. I also said they could not hold my telephone number and the call ended. The two days later they called me on their automated system using the telephone number I had said they cannot use, bigger fool them as the telephone number is an HMAF supplied number and it is illegal to store these numbers without consent. I called them back and explained that I have now written to DVLA over the car tax issue and would wait for their response and would not speak with CCS again until after the DVLA response and that if they did not confirm that the telephone number was removed from their system that I would have their directors arrested under anti terrorism laws. The number was removed and the account put on hold for 21 days. Not a great experience and whilst the second person I spoke to had pretty much no choice but to do as I said she was much more polite than the aggressive operator from the first call. I give them 2 stars due to the second operator being more efficient and polite but that is at a push. All that was needed to make this a much better experience which in my mind is down the DVLA making an error would have been for the first operator to have just been polkite and listened and advise and then for them not to break the law by storing the number. Had this been the case the review would have been much better in terms of scoring.
Totally appalling company. First off the phone system says enter reference number but the no such reference number appears on the letter they send. When I was able to finally speak to a person she was rude and aggressive from the get go.... In my case a Vodafone account had been opened fraudulently as a result one of their employees steeling my data.... CSC totally disinterested and just wanted to read from a script. Have now issued a Cease and Desist Notice to them - looks like legal action is the only way to get yourself heard by them.
If it were possible to give no stars, I would. This company claims to belong to the Credit Services Association (CSA) and to fully observe the CSA code of practice. I checked - neither CCSCollect nor its parent company Commercial Collection Services Ltd are a member of CSA. They write every month about a fictional debt to HMRC - we bin the letters, but I have now decided to take further action, as they should be stopped. This review is the first step.
Update 10 August 2025 … no further letters received following posting of this review. Suspect not a coincidence. Thank you, Trustpilot!

These scammers keep targeting me, sending weekly emails claiming that HM Revenue & Customs owes me £519. Honestly, what is wrong with these people? If that were true, HMRC could just deduct the amount from my salary or send me an official letter. Beware of them, they’re fraudsters!
Extremely unprofessional experience with CSC Collect. I’ve repeatedly received letters regarding a vehicle and offence I have absolutely no connection to. I am not, and never have been, the owner or driver of the vehicle in question. Despite clearly informing them of this multiple times, they continue to send harassing letters without taking any proper steps to verify the facts or correct their records.
To make matters worse, even their official communications are poorly presented—basic errors like using “Fao” instead of “For” on formal letters show a clear lack of attention to detail. If this is how little care they put into their paperwork, it’s no surprise their investigative practices are just as sloppy.
Completely unacceptable and deeply frustrating experience. I will be raising this with the relevant authorities.

Had a man called yesterday no paper warrenty at all only one on the phone needs to produce paper one if asked refused point blank didnt show id got my name wrong . Said that it was my home when told to get off property would not leave .When the lady iwho owns the property offered too pay jumped on the offer straight away even when i said i didnt give permission too do this .I guess they know at some point they will get sorted for breaking rule’s i hope that after all the stress this has caused me i will still be here to see it (bunch of lying law breakers in my eyes ) best too send away and get proper paper work and listen
CCS Collection Services have been harassing me for some time now and seemingly ignore any correspondence from my end. They clearly don't communicate with whoever 'passed on' the 'debt' and work on outdated and incorrect information. An absolutely horrendous experience dealing with them. Whoever works for them should be ashamed of yourself, causing misery to others and getting paid for it! Disgusting.

I paid money into my daughter's account to pay off her debt. We got a letter saying my daughter still owed money! The stupid man at CSS wouldn't answer a simple question. Has the debt been settled? He wouldn't answer. So cross!
worst worst worst company ever, they collected vodafone money from me but they didn't let vodafone know about that, so vodafone is still ruining my credit score more than 50 points. I want to give them 00000 star. you deserve 5 zero star
I'm not sure how these folks are still operating. They claimed to be representing Vodafone and told me there was an outstanding amount but refused to provide any proof of the amount after several requests, telling me to ask Vodafone for it instead.
I received a letter from this company saying that Sky were due £11.37p from myself. 100% incorrect. I have sent this company a snip of the email I get from Sky saying my complaint has now been closed. I have MANY emails from sky over this issue, also many calls, from Jack, think the only one who knew how to handle my case. CCS Collect want these emails, they can get them.
It is pathetic. I know this is a small amount but it has been resolved by Sky, as it went on for many many weeks with them. It is the principal not the small amount.

I phoned CCSCollect to try to resolve an outstanding debt for my friend. The man who answered, Martin Peacock, was very helpful and knowledgeable. As a result of his clear advice I was able to submit the correct information to the company in the right way to hopefully resolve the issue.
Multiple letters and emails can never get hold of them when I try to call the online portal is a joke. First attempt did not work the 2nd attempt it took me 20 minutes
