Chapter Law is a fly by night collection agent who shouldn’t be taken seriously . They threatened to sue me over a 6 year old dept when the statute ran out 4 years ago . They have zero grounds to sue and that threat just landed them
A complaint to the Law Society . Know your rights people . They need acknowledgment from you in writing before they can do anything at all . So when they call, have fun with them , laugh at them
. They are nothing more than a big joke who can’t speak English

This law firm needs to be closed, they go after people for debts that are already closed, I have got 2 letters from them regarding a koodo bill from 2019, statue of limitations in Alberta is 2 years. I have had 5 different "legal firms" try and do the same. I literally talked to 2 people from this company and the 1 guy literally argued with me and said just pay. The other girl said will let's make a deal um no. They send out threatening letters to pay or we will garnish your wages. A normal law firm wouldn't go against the consumer laws in Canada. They keep selling a debt that they have no grounds to stand on and you will be getting investigated. Go and see their reviews on the BBB as you can't write any reviews on Google so let's start here and see how many bad reviews will come in do to them not following the rules set in place by the government.
