Disaster company

Nicky Dunn was brilliant when a leak was reported by the flat below mine on Good Friday. She quickly managed to get hold of the tenants and found a plumber who went round and sorted out the problem. I was extremely grateful, especially as I was 200 miles away on a break and couldn't do anything myself.

I've just renewed my participation as a landlord for the rental of one of the properties I own - this is my second time with choices and the ARO scheme.

I've found the service by the full Choice team to be excellent - which it was the first time I used them.

I have another rental property also have rented out via Choices, this is due for renewal in August. You can be sure that I will be using Choices for that rental too.

Although all the Choices team that I have dealt with have been very professional and helpful at their jobs, I'd just like to give a special mention for the Choices Deputy Manager, Rachel Nichols.

Rachel has been in charge of the renewal of the lease for my tenants, and has smoothed the path to a new tenancy for them. Everything needed to be done was done in a timely and no hassle manner, she made my involvement in the process as easy as possible, for which I thank her!

I'll be renewing on another property I own in August, and I'm sure it will be as easy s this one was. Thanks

Rachel Nichols is one in a million! There is nothing that girl can’t or won’t do to ensure both my property and myself is protected , and ensures all relevant legislation is complied with in a timely manner. She is always calm and reassuring especially when having to deal with having to evict tenants (a new experience for me), to ensuring my property is well looked after, obtaining quotes from various tradespeople and brought back to a high standard. I know I have nothing to worry about - she is always one step ahead of me. I am constantly both amazed at her tenacity as well as her work ethic. I wouldn’t be without her! Thank you Rachel!

Just viewed a studio apartment in Camelot Court. Ifield. Crawley. West Sussex.
There was mould in kitchen cupboards and also in the main living/sleeping area. Absolutely disgusting. Tenant's are supposed to pay decent rent too.
The landlord needs to get this inspected ASAP.

I cannot recommend Nikki Gunner highly enough – she is truly exceptional.About a year ago, I faced a very stressful situation with my let property managed by Choices: the tenants moved in but stopped paying rent entirely, essentially treating the flat like squatters/occupants. I am writing this to warn potential tenants, particularly those who may be vulnerable, about the conduct of Choices Estate Agents in Redhill.

While I was recovering from major neurosurgery, I was forced to navigate an urgent safety crisis that necessitated my removal from the property via a court order. The agency was fully aware of the scheduled hearing and the safety risks involved, yet they showed a complete lack of professional discretion.

Despite the court listing falling two days after the rent due date, a matter entirely outside of my control, the agency have prioritised the pursuit of those 48 hours of rent over human decency. It is clear that this branch has no internal Domestic Abuse policy or protocol for tenants in crisis.

Instead of providing a clear, supportive pathway, they were obstructive and sent consistently confusing and unprofessional emails.

They forced a post-operative patient to undergo unnecessary legal stress just to secure my safety and remove my name from the agreement. I would strongly advise any person, particularly women or those with health concerns, to avoid this agency. They have proven they do not have the infrastructure to handle anything beyond a standard business transaction and will not support you when your safety is at stake.

Just to say a big thank you to Ebony, she has been very prompt on all occasions, when there is an issue with all our properties to find a solution and thanks once again Ebony for your support and we wish her all the very best for her future with choices

Nicola Dunn She was calm and professional and spoke really well saying if i have any issues i can always contact her that was comforting to hear.

Unfortunately i can only be honest and speak from my experiences with Choices.
They are clearly an agent for landlords only, as a tenant through every aspect of my rental period i felt abandoned and unsupported by them. when there was issues with the property they failed to arrange repairs, poor communications on all fronts, also a very high staff turn over which speaks volumes and finally just a lack of general good morals and decency in ensuring tenants are cared for. instead it was all revenue revenue revenue and focus on not disturbing the landlord or addressing issues with him.
PLEASE PLEASE if you are a good tenant steer clear of these people, and if you are a Bad tenant with them i hope you get one back for the decent people who rent.
