Untrustworthy
Trying to return a rattan garden set due to 5 out of 6 damaged chairs was hard work. When I said it looked like they had been dragged owner/manager Phil immediately defended and said that they hadn't. How had they been damaged? How do I know this set had been previously returned or even seconds. He was trying to force me to take replacement chairs from the manufacturers to deny a refund. The manufacturers wasn't happy he was doing this and told me I had 30 days for a refund from Clent Nursery. He even told me that if the box that the table came in had been opened then I couldn't return. It was rattan and glass, we needed to check it wasn't broken. It's soon clear to see that he's untrustworthy, doesn't listen but will insist hes doing everything to help. In reality he's delaying or trying to deny you getting a refund. The manufacturers aren't happy with his behaviour. I did get my refund but it took persistence and several phone calls over 2 days. We also insisted we got our delivery fee back which he didn't want to refund till we persisted, purely because of the terrible service we encountered. He even sends his delivery guy out to lift heavy furniture on his own. He even asked me if there was anybody to aid his delivery guy. We had a bad experience which was avoidable, will never return.
