I had a terrible experience with Clifton. This was my first attempt to use them, and my first attempt to buy a luge suit. Despite numerous times asking to talk with someone on the phone to get clarity on the sizing, and how best to buy a suit, they never provided a number. Never provided a customer service number. I had to go through email which resulted in simple canned responses that did not address my concerns.

In the end, the process took over 4 months, I never was able to speak to anyone, the suit didn't fit. It was disaster from start to finish.

During your review of the email exchanges, how many times did I ask for a number to discuss the measurements? My daughter DID NOT fit into any of the predetermined measurements that were posted.

On 12/3 I stated I was confused by the differences in the size sheet sent and provided the exact measurements my daughter needed. On 12/4 I was sent the measurement guide and told to “see below”. This was the 4th time being sent the guide with no clarity. It asks for “body length” but does not specify whether that is head to toe or shoulder to toe. Upon asking the question via email it was not answered.

In 12/31 this email was sent: Can I have a contact number to call and discuss? I’m not sure what is needed from me. I’ve sent the measurements twice now and have had more questions retuned.

Please provide a customer service number so I can ask and answer any questions.

No number was provided.

On 1/1 this email was sent - Please note, I have ask multiple times for size clarification. Simply providing a chart does not answer my questions.

I'm now asking for custom service via phone. If this is not available, please provide a refund as I continue to have questions that go unanswered.

On 1/10 after no progress I asked to have my deposit refunded. Which was denied.

My daughter went the entire luge season without the suit that was originally ordered in November.

As for your comment about providing suits to the military and Olympic athletes, please understand that my daughter is the current US youth luge national champion, so Thank You for your curt and condescending response. I’ll be sure to provide my thoughts and recommendations to her teammates and their family.

The design process was fantastically easy and intuitive. Offering many variations to the design. The ordering was straight forward and clear, once I had the commitment from the players. The most difficult part of the whole process was gathering the measurements from our players! I must admit I was nervous as I placed the order, not being too sure about the quality of the fabric and indeed the tailoring. However, on delivery, I had nothing to worry about, the anniversary blazers.

excellent service and communications

Thanks for delivering a high quality product (rugby shirts). Despite various delays due to a small pandemic, when the shirts finally arrived they wre of excellent quality and fit. Lots of very happy mature ex-rugby players can now reminisce with their new shirts!

The products arrived on time and are good quality, however the ordering process can be a little agressive.

I enquired about pricing, and was immediately issued with an invoice and then demands for payment. Way before confirming I had placed an order.

I would encourage a more collaborative/calmer ordering process.

Product was as advertised and arrived within the deadlines.

Very unhappy with the service I have received from clifton.

Sent questions asking how the velcro is positioned on the Netball bibs and if this could be changed, the reply was normally in an L shape but yes it can be made to any requirements.

I very specifically requested velcro in a certain size and length for the netball bibs, this was in the same email I sent with the logos so was received and read.

There was no mention of the velcro in the design pack so I was under the impression that it was just for the printing. The bibs arrived and the velcro is too big so if we use them they will ruin our dresses.

I sent pictures showing this and the repeated response I got was I accepted the pack therefore its my fault!!
Then rudely got told they won't be responding to anymore emails!!

Funny enough the velcro didn't arrive in a L shape so they clearly read my email just messed up the measurements and are refusing to admit it.
Will now be taking this to trading standards to get the matter resolved as the goods are not as requested.

I NEVER SAID WE WERE GOING TO PURCHASE DRESSES FROM YOURSELVES AS WE ALREADY HAD THEM MADE LAST YEAR FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND MY PHOTO WITH THE VELCRO MEASUREMENTS REQUIRED CLEARLY SHOWS OUR PERSONALISED DRESSES.
ALSO I NEVER THREATENED I WAS GOING TO POST A REVIEW, I STATED I WAS GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS WHICH I WILL.
QUITE HAPPY TO PROVE ALL THIS WITH MY EMAILS THAT I SENT.

As previously mentioned At no point did I never mention buying dresses from you.
I gave you a brief of my requirements in my emails with a detailed photo of measurements.
At no point have I been threatening towards your staff and at no point have you bent over backwards to help, all you have done is blamed myself.
I have also screenshot your comments each time to show how you have been editing them.

Nothing short of amazing. They were super accommodating to our quick turn around time and the jackets were high quality. Thank you thank you thank you!!
