Shocking Quality
Ordered a dead space bomber jacket, it cost me $100usd plus import fees to Canada. I figured okay makes sense if it's a high quality product and they're actually paying their employees.
I'm not even joking here, I opened the package to find a jacket that was worse quality than a $5 jacket I got on Shein a few years ago. Almost the same cut, same paper thin material, about the only difference was that the Cloak one had a bunch of loose threads and was unraveling. Completely stunned me to be honest.
They definitely send out items when you order.
They send out the items, its not a scam, but let me tell you a story.
I bought a mystery box and waited months to actually get it. The items I got, when it finally arrived, were not in the size I ordered, and not even close to the amount I paid. When I messaged them, they were no help. I let them know everything that happened, and they skimmed and gave me a solution for the items not being the right size, and ignored the fact that the items that were sent were not the $200 in value I was promised. The solution they gave me was a store credit of $64 for ONE ITEM that was not in my size. Fine, whatever, I guess I have to find something else. Well, surprise surprise, I have to pay for shipping on the next item that I ordered, A Sweatshirt (because that's what I was expecting in the mystery box, my fault), which I had to order months later because, not going to lie, their drops really suck lately. Well, I got the sweatshirt and it is STICKY. Like fresh out of the box, sticky. And it doesn't help with Florida heat. I messaged support again, and they told me they can't do anything about it, and it's just a manufacturer issue that happens with every jacket, and if I wash it with fabric softener, it should go away. I asked if they had any other options, because I am allergic to every single fabric softener I have ever tried (Hives aren't fun when you try to look cool, guys), and they just sent me another store credit! I wish they had tried harder, because, once again, I had to wait for another drop of designs I actually like and pay for shipping, but whatever. Well, I ordered once more, spending about $100 before the $64 Store Credit. This was sometime during November/December of last year. Everything went well, and I was super excited for the items, because who wouldn't be. Jump forward to February where I still haven't received the items, and I downloaded the Shop App to see my Order Status, aaaand the items hadn't even been packaged yet! I emailed their support and it took them a few days to respond, where they told me that they had to check what was going on. Another day or so, and they message back saying my ordered items were sold out and they could only offer a refund or store credit! SO DONE!! Of course they are sold out, I ordered them RIGHT when they came out and they were sold in a matter of hours. I emailed them back, asking if they could swap the items with the ones they currently have for sale (Which were also in similar style for the ones I ordered, the ones I wanted), and I was told; Yes, they can swap the items, but not for the ones I picked out. Instead, they offered items from their discounted stock. Obviously, this all would have been ok if they were talking to someone who had just found cloak or didn't follow it as religiously as I do, but we're talking about me, someone who's a huge Markiplier and Jacksepticeye fan, so I knew exactly how much the items are worth. But anyways, at that point, I didn't want to pay for shipping AGAIN, so I accepted the swap, and they sent out the items.
I got the items today and opened the package to find that the zip-up they swapped it for was open. Like, plastic ripped and zipped down slightly. The Posters I ordered, one was perfectly packaged, and the other was also open, seemingly super glued shut on one side, and there was no plastic around the poster, so it was relatively impossible to get out. Thankfully I will not be hanging them up today and will be waiting until I move to place them somewhere nice, but come on!
I so badly want to give them a chance, I really do. I love Mark and Sean, and the clothes are... nice? I guess? I feel bad because I keep complaining, but the items are so expensive that you would expect a better arrival. And to get the items you order, or at least think you're ordering.
I would like to add a side note: The stickiness DOES NOT go away on the Sweatshirt if you don't use Fabric Softener. After about two or three months of wearing it with the stickiness, washing it as much as possible, I had to take the sweatshirt to my parents' house, and have my mom wash it like I was an 8-year-old. It took about 3 washes with fabric softener and 2 more additional washes until I could wear it.
2 stars, it would be 1, but support is helpful after the fact, and I can't deny that I got the items.
Long wait, good product
I ordered to Finland. The shipping took a while and I had to pay customs as expected but the product is good quality!

Like I had to do a double take and check the sizing and to make sure it was mens too. But yeah. It was a whole size off
Half my closet is Cloak
I’m honestly shocked to see how low the overall score is. Everything is custom made so shipping isn’t going to be as quick as buying a mass product from a large brand. You should buy it knowing it will take 1-2 months to ship. Once it arrives, with the exception of the women’s underwear fiasco (they took a risk, it didn’t pay off), the quality is top notch. I’m ruined for all other joggers and slippers now. They’re so comfortable. Cloak has slowly been taking over my closet. Cloak helped me realize that a few high quality clothes is better than a lot of cheaply made clothes. I have shirts, sweaters, joggers, towels, blankets, socks, cups, water bottles, bathing suits, and more. Why? Because of the high quality and fun designs! If you like quality and style, buy Cloak.
TLDR: high quality = more expensive; custom made = long shipping times
Mystery box is a lie
In 2022, I ordered their mystery box, whose worth was supposed to be over $190. Back then, the prices of previous drops were available on their website so I checked how much the items were worth, but they only added up to ~$150 ($40 dollars less than promised). Apparently since it had been over 30 days since delivery, they couldn't do anything about it, and I doubt they would have anyway because other people have also had similar issues. They also said that mystery boxes generally include 3-4 items (mine had 4) and it still didn't add up to the promised worth. Do not EVER purchase their mystery boxes, it's a scam.
Great quality and service
Everything I've received looks and feels great. I've only had 2 small issues and they were delt with quickly and professionally.
The shipping was fine but...
The shipping was fine, ordered May 10th and received it May 23rd. I am not mad about that. I am just really disappointed in the sizing. I should have just not ordered in the first place. I thought a 3x top and bottom would fit because I normally wear a 2x or 3x in other brands. I should have looked at the size chart and saw that a 3x wouldn't fit, but in my head I figured since everyone says true to size that it would fit. The 3x looks like a normal xl you can get at like target. None of the underwear would fit me based on the sizing chart and that really disappoints me. I figured the size would be more size inclusive but I guess I was wrong.
UPDATED Been waiting eight weeks for my item to ship
I ordered a cloak on 3/16/23 and was aware it would take 4-5 weeks to ship. Here we are two months later and it still hasn’t shipped. I contacted Cloak at week five and was told it would ship “early next week.” Never shipped. Filed a dispute with PayPal and Cloak replied, “It will ship early next week.” Never shipped. So I’ve escalated the case and hopefully I’ll hear something by May 14th but I just want my money back at this point.
UPDATE: Cloak reached out to me and offered me a refund or store credit. I took store credit and this time my items reached me promptly. Just be aware that their cloaks may not reach you or may take a long time. When I ordered slippers and a long sleeved shirt, it shipped and arrived quickly.
Pretty good
I ordered two hoodies from Cloak after years of wanting to, and TBH I was skeptical after seeing the negative reviews. But what I experienced was mostly positive. I checked on the mailing daily, and there were always updates. The shipping WAS a little slow (about 3-4 weeks), but not out of the ordinary for shipping internationally. The merch itself is great, I got it today. The hoodies are nice and I love them already :)
The only issue I have is that even after signing up for it twice, I never got email updates. I had to check manually, which wasn't bad, but it did annoy me a little and that's why I won't give it the fifth star. That's all, though. Nothing else to complain about

I really thought Markiplier would do better when it's got his name on it.

A month and a half later and still don't have an update.
I have had to email several times and each time it's a non answer.
Customer service is a such joke, it's the worst experience I've had in a long time, maybe ever.

I was a little bit skeptical…
I was a little bit skeptical after reading all the negative reviews but my experience couldn't be more opposite. I placed my order Friday night and received my order Wednesday morning. Packing was great. My items are of excellent quality. I ordered their cloak & an oversized sweater and both feel amazing and are in perfect condition. Would definitely order again.
Ordered from their underwear drop and it was AWFUL
I ordered a bralette from their underwear drop in August. Tried my best to follow the size chart. Bought a large because it seemed the best fit for me (not to be tmi but I have a larger chest) and the model in the image who also appeared to have a similar chest size to mine was wearing a large. Literally had to CUT MYSELF OUT OF IT after trying it on. I felt so cheated. So I re-ordered one that was two sizes up to a 2XL, it didn’t arrive until NOVEMBER and it was still too small. Very misleading, cheap material, absolutely not worth over $60 I spent in total. Also, Cloak, if you’re gonna drop stuff like this y’all need to be more inclusive of larger chested people. Some of us are broad with tig ol bitties.
Over 2 Month Wait / Never Got Product / Unhelpful Support Staff
Placed my first order on Nov 21st. Nov 23rd got an update that my package was confirmed. Tracking info did not reflect this and was stuck in “Label Created” for 2 weeks. My partner had the same issue and his support rep was very helpful in telling him that his package was lost and a new one is being sent out (without him having to ask). He recommended I do the same, as it was the exact same issue, only difference was the shipping address and name.
I emailed support about my package and was essentially lied to about my status. After 10 days of back and forth, being an polite as possible, I finally called out the lying / misinformation (not sure which) and if my concern can be escalated. Once I made that request, I was then told my package was lost and a new one would be sent out.
I understand it was the holiday season, so ultimately makes sense. That was never an issue, I was just getting copy-paste information and just wanted to ensure my package wasn’t lost, as my partners was confirmed that it had been. At that time I was just a bit upset I had to go back and forth against what felt like an automation / AI response for 10 days.
Dec 14th the new package was confirmed via an email confirmation / receipt from CLOAK, except this time there was no “Order Confirmed” from tracking carrier. Just that Cloak received my order.
In this entire time frame both my partners sister, our friend, and my partner all not only received their mystery box order which was placed back in Nov (we all placed an order same day when the drop happened), but also another 3 other packages between them — one being from another knitwear line that just dropped, other 2 being fleece cloaks. All 6 packages were all delivered before X-Mas.
Dec 28th I made another support ticket asking for status update, as the CLOAK confirmation email noted to contact support if it had been over 7-10 business days with no update. I was then told by support it was still unfulfilled, but they are “doing their best to ship the orders next week”. Okay, frustrating, but understandable. It’s just past holidays again.
I waited until 9pm CST on Jan 9th and finally had enough. I replied to the support ticket again asking for a full refund and to cancel order as I am currently in the process of moving next week. It was immediately cancelled the next day, which tells me it still hadn’t been fulfilled yet. No other recourse was offered.
If I would have known it would take about 2 months to POTENTIALLY receive a package, I would not have order it. I’m really disappointed as I wear my partners CLOAK merch frequently and was really excited to start buying from them. I like the quality, but their support staff are copy-paste and overall unhelpful. I feel as though I was punished for submitting a ticket and was overall confused why I was getting treated different than my partner, who had the same concerns when he submitted his ticket. He got a completely different experience than I did. I work in customer service so I never am rude or go all Karen, because I know how that feel. Even when being advised to do so when I wasn’t actually getting helpful answers. Asking to escalate my original support ticket was a last resort.
TLDR; Unhelpful support, took ~2 months before I had to cancel an order which was never sent out while friends and family got not only their packages, but 3 more as well, in a matter of weeks. Sad and overall really disappointed with my experience.
Ordered nearly $200 worth of product…
Ordered nearly $200 worth of product over a month ago. No updates. I have emailed twice to which they reply “yeah we will ship it next week” while still not shipping or updating me on why my order hasn’t shipped within the promised timeline. This is the second time and last time I will order from cloakbrand. My first order was also late—but not this late.
Cloak slips review
Tbh, I would say the only thing that is worth on that dodgy site is the slippers. I got them in a reasonable amount of time and they are pretty comfortable no doubt some of the best slippers I’ve worn. But if you want to buy cloths on that site don’t bc they’re just like anything else you’ll find anywhere else. Oh and btw cloak fix your dam costumer service. I was close to canceling the order bc the post office said it might not come.

Poor quality, poor customer service
Ordered from the mythical line last year, and my hoodie ripped as soon as I put it on. I had a friend sew it, but then when I put it in the wash it came out with little holes and snags all over it. Would NEVER recommend their product to anyone
Good quality clothes with flare - last and wash well
Gutted that I misplaced my TAROT hoodie (or it was stolen, who knows), because I have not been disappointed with CLOAK quality since I've ordered from them. I have 4-5 items, all hoodies. I work outside and these have been rugged enough to wear and wash (cold wash) without losing colour or transfers. Shipping was slow at the start of the range and is now into 1-2 weeks from order which is good. Follow-up on customer service has been swift, updates on your order are sent promptly.
Probably going to get more, depending what designs are released.
Torn... Be wary
I have only bought two things from Cloak. A long sleeve from the In Space drop and a cloak from the second Hidden drop. The long sleeve is one of my favorite items. The material is durable and fits me perfectly. I just received the cloak today and while the style is nice, the quality is much poorer. I was disappointed to find get an item that I paid about $100 dollars for to have a ripped pocket and a button that clips the pocket closed missing. I will still wear it because it can function for the most part (gotta be careful with the pockets), just disappointing and kind of a waste of that much money for faulty quality. I was so encouraged by the long sleeve, but it was not the same quality.
UPDATE:
I emailed Cloak about my cloak and customer service was helpful and sent me a new one free of charge. Hopefully in the future that won’t be necessary if they pick up production quality.
