Extremely comfortable, cosy and homely with everything we needed. Very handy for the village with a variety of pubs and walks from the door. Nice big rooms all tastefully decorated. A bit tired in places but overall very lovely. We would definitely go again.

Beautifully located, bright and spacious cottage which was pleasantly warm - the electric radiators are effective and the log burner even more so. No wifi, but this can be a blessing, and the garage is very narrow. Our tiny Peugeot only just fits in. The coast path, 5 pubs and 2 cafes are within a short walk and the Upper Solva shop has all the basics. The 11 bus is pretty reliable and very friendly - we went to Fishguard on it and came back from St David's on it.
Cottage was nice but the smell of damp was overwhelming and the cottage was cold. The bed was not comfortable and in this day of age you would think Wi-Fi would be available, this should be highlighted on the website that it’s not available. Would we use this cottage again, the answer is no.

Lovely location very near coastal path, bus route, local pubs and the harbour. Well equipped place which is lovely to be in even on the 2 wet days. Rather pricey at high season. Not at all dirty but could do with a more meticulous clean. Electric towel rail doesn't work. Otherwise comfortable place to be - and wood burner is very effective and easy to use.
Solva is a lovely village and Pilgrims Cottage is ideally placed within the village. Accommodation is good although parking is a bit of an issue but that goes with the territory (Solva wasn't built for the car !). Overall 8/10
Solva is beautiful and wonderful location. However, the cottage unfortunately wasn't kept very clean and on arrival we had some minor issues. That said coastal cottages were very receptive and fixed the issue promptly. This didn't spoil a beautiful week in Pembrokeshire as the location is truly beautiful and a stunning part of Wales. Solva has some good pubs and shops and we loved our evening walks ++++

This is a really well located cottage, very near the coastal path and with a footpath right next to it. There are 3 good pubs a short walk away, all doing food. We ate well at the Cambrian, and had a good night out with a very friendly crowd at the Ship. Going inland along Prendergast you get to Solva Weaving Company where there is a good range of local products and a very good value tea room. You can catch a bus from the main road to St David's or go the other way to Haverfordwest. We left our car, a Peugeot 206, in the garage the whole visit - it fitted in ok, but it is a narrow garage. Place is light, with attractive furniture and pictures, a wood burner that works well and effective electric heaters.
Ps only one bag left for food bin! Single bed uncomfortable for anyone with back issues! Note for many cars the garage will be too small Therefore parking either @ Council car park or some distance along Prendergast lane. Otherwise HapPy with our stay. And would return for future holiday.
According to my adult child - this place needed decent wifi. I was happy without!!!
The washing machine was blocked, the shower broke, Coastal Cottages were prompt in getting these fixed, likewise sending a gardener to cut back overgrowth that was blocking the satellite dish. TV signal still poor, oh and in case you were wondering there is no internet/wifi. Parking is only for a very small car in the garage, so, in effect, no parking and places to park are in high demand in Solva in the summer. Would not book this cottage again or go to Solva. There are many nicer places and cottages in Pembrokeshire.
Cottage very good. Great location. Not good for parking. Cleaning not very good 😕 could do better
We have stayed in this cottage many times and absolutely love it. This time we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness, which didn’t feel up to its usual standard. The kitchen curtains had gone, the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied (which we didn’t discover until we were cleaning on our last day because we wash up by hand - so we thought the crockery was less than usual). There was also a LOT of rubbish in the garage, which in the heat was really smelly. When we put the bins out on Thursday a wild animal ripped them all open and we didn’t have spare bags to put them in - luckily the bin men were very nice (they would t have taken them at home). It was also a lot more dusty than normal. We appreciate that this house is up for sale and therefore may not be worthy of your full attention.
Excellent location , very clean, and overall reasonable value but recycling bags/containers were a mess and furniture , although adequate , was not very comfortable.
