I find staff at all the coffee#1 cafe's I have visited very friendly and always helpful. Visited coffee#1 in bath, the ladies there were helpful and cheerful. It is so nice to visit a place and feeling really welcomed. Great staff there.

The new coffee # 1 shop has a lovely interior and very helpful staff , but when it comes to the coffee we’ve on average 24 between 2 of us but 16 of these drinks have been cold when we’ve been asking for extra hot , we went today 04/09/26 and I could drink mine straight down
Surely it’s not rocket science to make a hot drink but some of the staff find this a hard task , I’ve spoken to the area manager and the manager of the store but still getting cold coffee , we will probably stick to PAU opposite or Cadwaladers, shame really as it’s a really nice place , coffee tastes great it’s just cold

Went to the new shop at Trentham shopping village Stoke on Trent. Had to wait ages for my coffee and asked where it was to be told they had lost the order. I asked how this could happen to which the lady in charge today as the manager was off said “ we’ve only been open two days and you can see that we are busy” quite matter of fact
When I asked for a number for head office she said get it off the website. I said I’d rather she sourced it there to which she said I might be able to get it. Her attitude stank! For a new shop she was most unwelcoming
Very poor! I’ll stick to cadwalders and PAU in future

My nearest is COFFEE 1 NEWTON ABBOT great coffee shop with friendly team.( much appreciated)..coffee good! ..only problem is that its so popular its often got a long queue

Popped into your store on the 8august in cwmbran,found the store very welcoming and well run ,we were served by a lady called carrie who was a credit to your firm ,being extremely helpful and courteous,we will be recommending your store for a welcoming break in the town

The Nottingham branch is my favourite coffee shop ever, I go in on a Monday morning with my daughter and grandson, before we go to baby group, the hot coffee is gorgeous, the iced coffee is lovely, but my favourite drink is the raspberry iced tea. The cakes we've tried have been amazing. The ladies who work there are amazing, they're so helpful, friendly and give the warmest welcome..

Chippenham Coffee No1 does the best latte I have ever had but unfortunately their staff put me off, they are so grouchy. It's happened too many times now. I won't be going back for a while.

I’d like to complain about your customer service and your promotions being misleading in your Bristol Central store. You had a sign up saying £1 matcha with the app, I asked if it was on and I was told no, the staff member was rude when I said why is the sign up if you’re not running the promotion and then said “well you can try it if you want”. It didn’t work. Wasted my time queuing - there also seemed to be 4 members of staff on 1 serving - really poor customer service and lack of knowledge of signage and promotion!

We use Coffee#1 in Ross on Wye regularly. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful and the drinks and cakes are fab. We go most weeks and sometimes use the Hereford store too which is also great.

I’m very unhappy that all of the stores have gone cashless and the quality of the coffee has also gone downhill on top of that. I’m not gonna visit another coffee one shop moving forward as this is a disgrace. Cash should be reinstated.

had a tea coffee and a cake sat down and waited for it to be ready went up to the counter asked how to gain my rewards on app girl said its to late you have to tell US when you order and now its to late cake was raw in the middle have now deleted my app and will be going elsewhere will not recommend

Don’t usually go here because it’s annoying returning the £1.50 cup - today at lunch time as well as yesterday the same girl serving was just chatting whilst myself and others waited in a queue for her to finishing having a chin wag

The store here in Bridgwater is wonderful service is amazing. Coffee and assortments of drinks and food is always a treat never mind what the occasion.
All the staff is always happy to help. Order and serve excellent

Coffee is ok but takes a while to come out, even when there’s enough staff working. Not a great roast. There are a lot of drink options, so good for a family. The cakes were stale both times I came in. Staff were lovely one day then disinterested and inattentive the next. Lack of consistency will make customers not return. Shame as it was decently priced and the shop has a nice atmosphere.

Ordered three strong lattes at Ringwood branch. Got seated and noticed one looked darker than the others. Two were weak coffees. I drank my weak coffee but asked my daughter if she would like hers made a bit stronger.
I politely asked the acting manager if she could make it a bit stronger. She said I would have to pay for it.I explained the coffees were not what I ordered. Her attitude was cold and unfriendly and she said I could write my mobile number on a piece of paper if I had a complaint and her manager would contact me. I started writing and then she said she didn't understand what I was saying and did add two shots of coffee to my daughter's by now cold cup of coffee. You would think any decent coffee house would give a fresh cup of hot coffee. I didn't get her name but she was very dismissive and unapologetic. By the way I'm still waiting for that phone call!!!
