Colnect is the best website I have found for everything related to collecting:
- Organizing my collection without needing printed catalogues
- Exchanging with other collectors
- Getting quick advice on my questions
In short, being a member of Colnect has greatly improved my collection.
I recommend Colnect to everyone.

Colnect is a site for all collectors and for all collectibles. The largest site for stamps with nearly 1.500.000 different stamps listed. Anyone can buy or sell or exchange with other collectors. Easy to navigate among collectibles, easy for a beginner to follow steps understanding how it works. Forums exist to solve questions for any collectible or share opinions for improving the site. Any collector can help improving volunteering for it. Support team for any technical issues is available and helps solving quickly.

Het probleem bij Trustpilot en soortgelijke recensie-websites is dat gebruikers sneller een negatieve dan een positieve ervaring delen.
De motivatie om iets te delen is groter bij teleurstelling dan bij een normale of goede ervaring, die vaak als vanzelfsprekend wordt gezien.
Daarom wil ik een zeer positieve reactie geven over de verzamelwebsite Colnect.
Ik ben coördinator van een onderdeel binnen Colnect.
Wij verzamelen paperclips in alle bekende varianten.
Bij het maken van een goede werkzame database van je verzameling is Colnect een enorme hulp. Het is mogelijk om op eenvoudige manier van een groot aantal items een overzicht te maken en dat is al een flinke stap voorwaarts voor elke verzamelaar.
Colnect kun je gebruiken voor bijvoorbeeld kopen of verkopen van items uit je verzameling, een wensenlijst maken, ruilen of contact hebben met andere verzamelaars. Maar de Colnect website gaat veel verder dan dat: de gebruiksmogelijkheden zijn vrijwel onbeperkt. Er is zoveel mogelijk dat niet alle verzamelaars al die mogelijkheden (kunnen of willen) benutten, maar desondanks met de Colnect site heel prima kunnen werken. Mijn advies is: verzamel je iets en wil je van je verzameling een inzichtelijk geheel maken en daar makkelijk mee kunnen werken, probeer dan Colnect uit. En nog makkelijker: lees de gebruiksaanwijzing heel simpel in je eigen taal.

Colnect is one of the best world site for collectors of different items. I use it since 2006 and still cannot find anything better. The advantage of Colnect is universality (stamps, coins, postcards , phonecards... and 40 other categories), but main advantage is possibility to search and sort items by many different filters as well as add missing items to database yourselves. It's possible that novices might see Colnect as complicate structure, nevertheless as soon as you understand principles of working you will understand how wide is spectrum of possibilities to arrange your collections. The last, but not least advantage is great Colnect community with verified and rated members and possibility to compare automatically swap/wish lists (it's save your time, power and money).

I have a very good experience with Colnect.
Regarding my collectibles, there are various possibilities to search if you can't find something.
There are enough people behind the scenes who help me when I have a problem, and it is solved quite quickly.
The communication between collectors is also good, they also submit their problem to the coordinator, I give them an answer if I have one, if not I ask the question to a Colnect employee, and pass it on to the collector.
It is a pleasant site to work with, there are enough possibilities for every collecting area.

Llevo mucho tiempo usando esta web para controlar mis colecciones y sobre todo para contactar con otros coleccionistas. Su sistema de manejo de las colecciones facilita la comparación con las colecciones de los otros coleccionistas y por lo tanto ahorra mucho tiempo a la hora de decidir con qué usuario contactar para hacer un intercambio.

A fabulous site for collecting anything. I am a coin collector and I can guarantee the completeness of the catalog, thanks also to the fabulous coordinators who work voluntarily every day to improve it. So I rate Colnect a great site.

Colnect is the perfect place where a collector can catalog their collection, interact with other collectors, discover curiosities and information about each collectible. I have been using Colnect for many years and, every day, I find improvements that make my use better and more complete. There are many very useful tools such as the ability to compare your wish list with the swap list of another collector and organize an exchange with just a few clicks. With the Premium subscription all advertising is eliminated and you can find even more useful tools, an incredible experience.

In 2024 Colnect started listing country listings in a non-alphabetical order. Reason unknown. That makes finding items much more difficult.

Horrible experience. I created my account a few days ago and added few items on my collection.
After a day or two I received an email that they think I have to correct my name, with a link that was not working. I logged on my account and tried to change the name from there, but there's no option to change it, the name fields being non-editable. Meanwhile they've blocked my account, so I've send them back an email with a fictive name and I got the access back.
Today I tried to add a couple of more items to my Collection and when I wanted to check them I noticed the page loads the Collection name, and the next tier, which disappears in the next second before I get the chance to click on it to open.
So at this point I have a small collection that I can't actually access.
Aside of that the pop-up to upgrade to paid membership appears on EVERY page. It is extremely annoying.
Once I'm finishing with this review I'll close my account. I'm happy I didn't waste more time on this useless website.

Dit betreft een review over het gebruik van de verzamelwebsite Colnect Collectors.
Deze site gebruik ik specifiek voor het catalogiseren van mijn theezakjesverzameling.
Ik gebruik deze catalogus al sinds 2014.
Per land krijgt ieder theezakje een Colnect code.
Normaal gesproken zou dit een uniek nummer moeten zijn. Echter worden deze onaangekondigd gewijzigd met een ander nummer.
Mijn hele verzameling is met deze nummering gecatalogiseerd voor het gemakkelijk terugvinden en ruilen. Helaas is de wijziging van de nummering voor verschillende landen al enkele malen gebeurd waardoor je niets meer terug kunt vinden aan de hand van de Colnect catalogus.
Dat dit frustratie veroorzaakt kunt je wel begrijpen. Het gaat om duizenden theezakjes die dan opnieuw genummerd moeten worden in de ordners waarin alle theezakjes worden bewaard.
Dit probleem heb ik gemeld bij de beheerder en op het forum maar niemand geeft een duidelijk antwoord waarom de nummering veranderd. Het wijzigen gebeurt willekeurig en er zit geen logica in.
De Colnectcode bestaat afhankelijk van het aantal soorten theezakjes uit :
Themacode – Landcode - 4 of 5 cijfers
Hieronder in het voorbeeld is dit: TB-NL-07253
Voor de wijziging was dit: TB-NL-6534

Verzamelaars die willen ruilen gebruiken het Colnect nummer om een wenslijst door te geven. Als dit plotseling verandert is kan men dus foutieve theezakjes toesturen en ontvangen.
Verder werkt deze database prima en was ik tot het optreden van dit fenomeen heel tevreden.
