What can I say James is a miracle worker. I had been suffering from a stretched ligament and after having the correct alignment my pain was 95% gone and I was well on my way to full recovery.
James and his team are so professional and attentive. The office is beautifully clean, serene and welcoming. The receptionist was very helpful and lovely. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommended.

I've been having monthly sessions with James for over 6 months due to overall stiffness in my back, neck and hips due to many years of working long hours at a desk, each session is so beneficial not just to me physically, releasing the tightness but my overall wellbeing as less pain and stiffness makes me a happier soul.
I appreciate James' positivity and genuine care and also his honesty that sometimes improvement just takes time.
I feel listened to and involved in my health, I always feel part of the session. James has a calm nature and explains what is going on throughout the session.

I went to see James at Connective Chiropractic as my husband said my posture was poor and that as James had helped him after an injury & may be able to help me. I was very sceptical, but as I use a Mctimoney Chiropractor for my horses and seen the improvement in them, I thought I would give it a go. James talked through my onboarding medical history and established what I hoped to gain at my first session. I thought my problem was my neck and shoulders - having had previous serious injuries to both, but surprisingly it was my spine and pelvis that had issues too. To start with I had weekly sessions and as my spine and pelvic alignment improved, I could see and feel the improvement in my neck and shoulders. After an appointment I had to adjust my rear view mirror in the car as I felt taller; as treatment progressed I needed to do this less and less. I also noticed that going to my appointments that outside always seemed very grey and dull, but when I came out there seemed to be more colour; I just felt so much better in myself.
Prior to starting with chiropractic treatment, I thought I would need surgery on my left shoulder for impingement, something I had already had done on my right shoulder: I couldn't lay on my left side due to pain. Now I have no pain, I don't need surgery and I can sleep on my left side.
I really like that the treatments are for the whole body. I've now moved into maintenance and am about to start with the 1:1 pilates as well as the chiropractic treatments.
The chiropractic treatments are gentle and very effective, the team are very professional and friendly and I would recommend Connective Chiropractic to anyone needing help with rehab after injury, posture and mobility issues.

I have been seeing James since April 2024, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional from the very beginning. The moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm welcome that feels like being cocooned in a wave of positivity. It sets the perfect tone for the rest of the visit.
When it comes to the treatment, James is second to none. He takes the time to set clear expectations and provides an excellent overview of what the session will involve. I would use McTimoney treatment all the way, which is not only comfortable but incredibly effective. To complement the chiropractic work, I also have massage therapy with Pam, and this combination has been life changing. Pam’s treatments are superb and work seamlessly alongside James. Her approach is thoughtful and the results are remarkable, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
I currently maintain a once a month routine, which fits perfectly into my lifestyle and keeps me feeling balanced and comfortable. Thanks to this incredible care I am no longer dealing with discomfort and have a renewed sense of of positivity. I am back at the gym, and feeling motivated to continue becoming the fittest and healthiest version of myself.

I’ve had what I thought was sciatica for the past 8 months, the pain and numbness going from the back of my leg was intense first thing every morning. I was also suffering from intermittent neck pain.
A family member recommended I see James @ Connective Chiropractic. I booked an hour’s consultation with James, he took his time to assess my back and neck , explained everything. He didn’t believe the root cause was sciatica and he believed he could help me.
I’ve been seeing James for the last 6 weeks and I can honestly say I’m pain free.
I would highly recommend anyone that is suffering with back/neck pain to make an appointment with James, it does cost a bit, but you can’t put a price on bring pain free.

The sports massage was excellent, identifying the areas that need the treatment, with regular appointments I can feel the benefits of the treatments, that are an integral part of by lifestyle.

I see Pam monthly for a sports massage. She is an outstanding sports massage therapist. Her expert use of various techniques has been transformative for me, and she goes the extra mile by teaching me stretches to do daily, which has greatly improved my posture. On top of that, Pam is a joy to be around—she's easy to connect with, and our conversations make each session enjoyable. I always leave feeling better, both physically and mentally. I also see James periodically to double check all is well with alignment. Again, he is very knowledgeable and approachable and an expert in his field. Highly recommend!

James is a healer and not just a chiropractor, he also has a very caring nature.
All the members of the practice that I’ve met are extremely professional.

I initially came to James with excruciating pain in my hip. James was able to highlight the issues and began working on relieving the pain immediately. I found him extremely knowledgable and very easy to talk to. I knew straight away I was in the right place... within a short amount of sessions I felt significant improvement and within months I was pain free! - now I can exercise without fear. I am so grateful to James and the rest of his team, all of whom are very friendly and kind... I continue to see James for top ups every few months and always leave feeling in a better place.

In addition I also have regular pilates sessions with Pam at the clinic. Pam is also fantastic, v easy to talk to. A great teacher. I feel myself getting stronger every week... Pam also offers sports massage, which really helps increase my mobility and ease any aches and pains from all the exercise, I'm now doing.

In short, James and Pam have given me a new lease of life... Words can't do justice for how grateful I am for this.

I have been going to James for a number of years and have never felt better. I had been to other chiropractors before but none have measured up to James. Him and those who he works with are amazing! I have been seeing James at Connective Chiropractic since not long after the business started and never had a single even slightly negative experience with him, or any of the team since it started expanding.
When I first started chiropractic treatment, my back was a mess and I needed sessions every couple of weeks. Within about 6 months things had improved enough to go a month between sessions and within about a year I had extended to visits every 2 months. By 2.5-3years in I was able to go about 3 months before an adjustment was needed. Then covid hit and a pregnancy stopped me being able to see James for about 6months who can really ruined my progress. Thankfully towards the end of the pregnancy I was able to start going again and James has a special support pillow/structure to put on the table that your belly can sit inside to keep your baby safe, so adjustments are fully possible and feel at least as great during pregnancy. I would recommend him to anyone and frequently do on Facebook and to colleagues.

I have had a few sports massage sessions with several practitioners including Pam and Koren (and a man who has since lived on). Pam’s massages are good and firm if you need them that way (she always asks though). The room is always nice and warm, towels are warmed and there’s always lovely relaxing music and lighting and the oils used smell nice too.
I’ve been at the clinic through 3 different locations and the current one is the nicest and has been decorated beautifully. Prices are very reasonable and there are special offers at regular intervals too.
If you have back pain, no matter your age (you’re never too young to have issues: I’m only 33 now) this great team can 100% help you improve your quality of life.

Connective Chiropractic clinic has been a saviour for treatment on a lower back issue. The clinic/team are very professional, guiding you through the best treatment options. James is very knowledgeable from the start, assessing your medical history through to treatment to elleviating the pain. Both chiropractic and other options are available and you will be guided what the best options are for you. Would recommend the clinic to friends and family. The location is central in Basingstoke and plenty of free parking.

I cannot put into words how fantastic the team at Connective Chiropractic are. James doesn’t just focus on the obvious issues, he really knows how to dig down into all factors that may have an impact on aches and pains.
I have chronic pain and he has tailored my care plan to best help with me (a complex character!). My husband and I have appointments together and we really enjoy going to see James, even if some of the adjustments are a bit uncomfortable!
