Bad service

Bad service , wow never again , I will not refer anyone to shop there for real. Customer Service 0... They take forever to reply a simple email. And they finally reply back , my kids on 2 grade will answer better than them.

Our records indicate your request for a return was made 5/19 and two replies came from our company providing you with the return shipping fee and the return restocking fee on the same day. We definitely understand that you did not like the fees to process the return and we would hope that in the future you would decide to call us and allow our company to answer and questions to help prevent the need to make a return request.

I did not receive my tracking …

I did not receive my tracking information via e-mail when my order actually shipped. I had to contact your customer service line twice to have the info sent to my e-mail. Order made it on time, but I was a little frazzled by the ordeal.

Ordered slicer

Ordered slicer. Upon receipt it looked very used, scratched up, and not even shiny..Even the manual had been copied on a copier. I contacted Cooks Direct who eventually got back to me. They replied that they only sell new items.They requested pictures, which I sent, and said they would direct my complaint to their marketing director. After 5 or 6 days on not getting an email reply I contacted them again to see why no one was getting back to me. I finally received an apology and they said they were contacting the manufacturer to send me a FREE REPLACEMENT! I received it yesterday and it is a new one. Thank you for replacing it.

They didn't honor the price listed on the website.

**Just checked my bank and PayPal - $360 STILL NOT refunded. The original order was made at the end of March, nearly 2 weeks ago. Where's my refund?
I only cancelled the rest of my order after you guys told me you made a pricing mistake and refused to honor what I paid. I don't want what little money I have going to liars and crooks.
Now, refund my money please. Immediately.

carbon steel pans

Ordered 3 carbon steel pans. They shipped quickly. One was on back order but it arrived shortly after first shipment. The order shipped from Cooks Direct did not have any packing materials in the box but the contents arrived was fine. The labeling on the outside of the box did have it marked fragile. I found the best pricing at Cook's Direct. Will order from them again.

Rude customer service.

I've ordered 2 items through cooksdirect.com & both items were delivered broken. Whilst dealing with customer service I thought I was going to have to run errands & buy extra packaging. I informed customer service that this wad inconvenient for me. Customer service replied "I mean, your just being asked to return broken product." I am unhappy with this response & I find it rude.

We are sorry to hear that both products were received broken. We truly apologize on both the manufacturer and our behalf.
We were unaware that you received your replacement damaged and would be more than happy to resolve this matter for you immediately.
Also, by the manufacturer, you were instructed to package the first shipment in the replacement packaging and you responded by stating that would be easy and that you would ship it back to the manufacturer.
The manufacturer requested the damaged item be shipped back so that they may analyze and determine if it was freight damage.
We apologize on both behalf's if this was a hassle for you. We were unaware of this by you stating this would be easy for you.
However, again we do apologize and will be contacting you immediately to resolve the issue with your replacement.
