⭐ 1 STAR — COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH A DEADLINE.
My experience with Cosrea Cosplay has been absolutely unacceptable.
I ordered a Woody costume on July 22, specifically because I needed it for a trade show the week of September 21. The agreed delivery expectation was before September 17, giving them nearly TWO MONTHS to complete and deliver the costume.
During that time, Cosrea repeatedly contacted me with clarification questions about sizing. Every time they asked for information, I responded immediately because I understood that meeting the deadline was important.
Then, approximately ONE WEEK before I needed the costume, after they had already had my order for nearly two months, they contacted me and asked whether they could change the delivery date until AFTER MY TRADE SHOW.
Seriously?
The entire reason for ordering the costume was to have it for this specific event. Delivering it after the event makes the costume useless for its intended purpose.
If Cosrea could not meet the deadline, they should have told me that when I placed the order—or at any point during the many weeks they had to produce it. Instead, they continued asking questions and allowed me to believe the order was progressing toward the promised delivery date, only to raise the possibility of missing it at the last minute.
That is not a minor delay. That is a complete failure to meet the fundamental expectation under which I placed the order.
Customers ordering custom costumes often need them for conventions, trade shows, performances, parties, or other events occurring on a SPECIFIC DATE. A company in this business should understand that delivering an item after the event can be equivalent to not delivering it at all.
Based on my experience, I would not trust Cosrea Cosplay with any order that has an important deadline.
I gave them plenty of time. I answered their questions immediately. They knew when I needed the costume.
And one week before I needed it, they asked if they could deliver it after the event.
Completely unacceptable.
