Established in 1978, here at Countryside Ski & Climb, we offer almost half a century of experience and expertise in outdoor clothing and equipment.
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible selection of outdoor and ski equipment on the market from brands such as Patagonia, Mountain Equipment, Rab and Scarpa.
Our experienced, friendly and helpful staff all share a passion for outdoor activities, allowing them to give genuine, unbiased advice, helping you get the right product for the job.
We are not just a website!
Our store has been in the same location on Stevenage Old Town High Street for nearly 50 years. There is free parking for up to 3 hours right outside the store, giving you plenty of time to browse the latest and greatest outdoor gear.
In our store, we match the prices shown on our website and can offer you extensive advice on the best kit for your needs.
We also specialise in offering fitting services for walking boots, rucksacks, ski boots and skis (please note ski boot and ski fitting requires an appointment). Our fantastic team want to help you get the best possible kit for your next adventure.
We now offer appointments for specialist fitting services and advice, but do not worry, you are not required to have a pre-booked appointment to come in store!

Incredible service!
Never used Countryside Ski & Climb before but managed to save £30 versus competitors and received my order 26 hours after purchase (also need to consider residence in Scotland)... Incredible service! Will definitely be using again and recommend to friends!

Jacket was ordered around 3pm and delivered before 10 am the next morning. Perfect. I would have liked it a tad cheaper, but this was the best deal for size Large, cheaper sites were out of Large and only had M or XL
