I used to look at craigslist several times a day. Not no more some stupid ass changed the set up. Now it sucks. I looked for sometime to find this place to leave message.

I paid so I can post my AD and they still flagged me even after I paid

My best advice for everyone thinking of advertising anything on Craigslist, DON'T DO IT!! They have changed the website on how to post and edit your information in your post/ad when selling something. But they did NOT change the online instructions, so it's very confusing. Once you post an item to sell, and if you've made a mistake in your post, the instructions will tell you in one section, you can fix it. However, in another section, it tells you that you can't fix it. Forget about contacting someone at Craigslist, they have no telephones. They tell you they will do a live chat with you. Nope, they won't do that either unless you sign up for a monthly contract to get help! They tell you to send their support team an email and they will help you. Nope, they don't do that either!! I have something in the wrong "Category" right now on Craigslist to sell. I have now sent 5 emails to the support Team Section in the last 4 days and I have not received any reply from anyone at Craigslist! So it looks like I've lost the money I paid them to advertise my car on their Craigslist Website. They also need to change their name to Scamlist!! Think their scams won't happen to you?? WELL I WARNED YA!
UPDATE: It has now been 5 days I've Emailed Craigslist Support Team for Help, six times and I've gotten NO Reply at all from Craigslist. Today I'm reporting Craigslist to the Better Business Bureau Online. I want to encourage everyone on here having problems with Craigslist to do the same. Also, you can use Facebooks Marketplace, yes they have problems too, but nothing like the huge problems we are all encountering at Craigslist. There are also other buying/selling websites available to use Online. Google to find who they are in your area. Good luck to all of you! Trust me, I feel your frustration with Craigslist and it feels terrible!

I just don’t get this platform at all. Apart from a scammers paradise when you actually see something genuine you would like to enquire about absolutely no one contacts you back. It is the most difficult place to buy things from ever. You can’t vet the sellers, for some reason people put their phone numbers in code??? I just give up. Facebook market place is dangerous and just as bad if not worse. How about a genuine platform that other countries use, like Trademe. Each seller/buyer is address verified, everyone get scored on how good the sale went so we can all see if they are a good seller or buyer, you can even arrange collection of your sold goods by courier from your doorstep, ask questions on line in the listing that everyone can see, totally safe. For the big old USA CL is absolute crap.

Put my account on hold, and why? Goodbye craigslist and hello Facebook marketplace, and helloo neighborhood app. Craigslist remember when your website caused that poor pregnant lady s demise. Bad craigslist, and my account is on hold, again why?

Craigslist changed everything from how it is being used. Alot of extra unnecessary steps to look for stuff and is getting confusing and frustrating. It needs to go back to how it was. Craigslist might lose alot of users due to the changes.

I have sold countless bicycles, sporting goods and household items over the years. There are genuine buyers out there, but they are all local of course, if out of state - I would act with caution. In order to search statewide you will need to use a site like allcraigslistsearch.com because craigslist don't allow it. If you get that 2 messages in a row - 30 minutes apart text messages where someone wants to know if your "Art" item is still for sale and "what You low last price? " on it... yeah them's are scumbag scammers, -but Craig's List is not at fault here... is just a fact of life that Scumbags are people Too, with smartphones!

Awful… looking for free dogs bc it says free or low… all of them are BACK YARD BREEDERS Asking rehoming fees of 800 and 1500 and up. RIDICULOUS. I’ll never use this app again.

I paid for to post photographer model posting for hire like everyone around the United States is allowed to do yet the Post is held for review and then flagged/removed without ever going live online. The only response I get is an email asking to not post my model ad which is very unfair as there was nothing bad in my ad at all.

It’s probably for the best if this dinosaur of a website gets its plugs officially pulled. It’s more than clear that the company has no sort of organized and professional means of dealing with the foul play that takes place on its website day after day. This crap heap of a site needs to have a stake shoved into its heart and put to bed for good. They flag the posts of legitimate posters repeatedly while allowing others who use scripts and fake accounts to post get away with it, violating any and all rules. The leadership at the company clearly doesn’t give a living shιt about whether their flagging algorithm works as intended or not. This thing is dead and people should accept it and move on. The UI of the site looks like dog shιt anyway.

Two days ago I posted my car for sale on Craigslist. In a matter of 24 hours, I received a combination of 17 phone calls and emails from SCAMMERS. Not one legitimate reply was received. PLEASE be cautious when using Craigslist. The scammers are becoming more sophisticated in their attempts to secure your funds. Unfortunately I will no longer be utilizing Craigslist for future services.

Constant flagging of legitimate posts. Their search is now useless do to all the aholes that use thousands of tag words.

Craigslist keeps flagging my ads. There is nothing inappropriate in the ad.
I post separate ads for cleaning and modeling. I am not seeking any inappropriate behavior.
The email from Craigslist tells me not to use the site for this type of ad.
However, there are several ads openly seeking inappropriate behavior:
Wood worker
Plumber
Pitch and catch
Ads that state nudity, naked or sex
Selling nude photos
There are also people who post up to 20 ads in the same category and other categories. Craigslist tells you to limit how many postings and categories you are allowed. But it's not being enforced. It also makes it difficult to find the legitimate ads.
Craigslist has become a waste of time.
