Verify credit is a scam
Verify credit is a scam, do not sign up if you see the name on anything. Very hard to cancel and it's not just $1.00 in less than a week you will be charged 39.95 on top of the 1.00. And when you cancel they will still charge you for months.

Fraudulent and scam site set to not let you cancel
I sent multiple emails and tried to contact l, and credit verify claimed that my emails were not received. I finally got through to someone on the phone, and received a cancel confirmation. I requested a refund due to the extreme fraudulent hidden sign up of this service. I was charged 34.99 twice before my cancellation was accepted. Conveniently when I was speaking to the call handler the call disconnected when I requested to be refunded or speak to someone else. I have read so many similar complaints and it seems as though this is their business plan. This is just terrible ripping people off and not being accountable or any customer service whatsoever. How do people feel good about themselves working here? I know times are tough but this is awful.

Was advertised a free credit check with a $1 hold to verify my identity, then a week later I got hit with a surprise $35 charge. Tried to contact them on their contact form and I was ignored. I had to call and they told me they couldn't do anything because they conveniently hid the charges in the TOS. Never even got my score from them. Bunch of scammers.

Not sure how I signed up for this and had to call to cancel…
Not sure how I even signed up for this service, but I was in the process of buying a new car and possibly I was signed up inadvertently when assessing financing options. I cancelled the "membership" after a few weeks so it did not roll over for a service I did not require and you are not even able to cancel a membership without having to call in and listen to a sales pitch. In 20 years of running businesses and using hundreds of software platforms, I have never had to call in to cancel an online subscription. No one should use this website for their predatory ways of signing consumers up and departing from their membership.

Very Scammy, Makes You Fight For Refund
I signed up for credit monitoring that verified with Transunion by entering card info. Nowhere did it say I was starting a recurring membership, or a free trial.
Afterwards, I had an email with a plain text password in it (red flag) and I used it to log in, wasn't very impressed, closed it and forgot about it.
A week later I have a $34.95 charge from "CVERIFY", it didn't take long to figure out what happened. The disclosure was way down in the password reset email, nobody would ever read this whole thing, but what's important is they're disclosing fees after taking your card info. This is theft.
I tried to cancel, but you have to call them. So I called and spoke with a rep who was really not that great at sounding surprised. I was put on hold for 2-3 minutes several times while she "checked the account", there was a lot of pushback on getting a refund, but it was eventually promised and the money went back on my card the next day (she told me standard 7-10 business days).
One star for scamming money off peoples cards without proper disclosure, plus one star for actually processing the refund as promised.

This company is misleading
This company is misleading. It makes out at first you get a free credit score and then wants your credit card information. I think they and Transunion are ripoff companies. trying to hose you with monthly fees that are available for free from other companies.
I have sent an email making sure that they will not be billing my credit card since I did not complete the application once I realized it was for a trial to a subscription, They still have not responded back to me.
Update, I received an email that went to my spam this morning from Credit verify stating I had made an incomplete application. The reason I was concerned was because of other people's complaints of being charged on their credit card after a 7 day trial and having problems cancelling or getting refunded. I wanted assurance in writing that I would not be receiving any charge on my credit card for a trial I did not complete the application process.

I was trying to borrow some money online and this credit verify came up asking for $1 but I didn't know it was going to continue costing $34.99 a month!!! I've tried to reach out and have had no luck. I want this cancelled or I'm putting a stop payment on all further transactions as well as disputing the first payment that has already come out of my account! Not a happy person!

I do not know who this company is or why they appeared on my credit card.. This caused me to cancel my credit card. Good thing as there is no easy way to cancel this membership once they sign you up.. I did not sign up for their service. I do not know how they got my credit card. I do not want to do business with them. I did not authorize any transactions in the first place. Now you are threatening to delete my review because I cannot provide a fictitious reference number.... Further proof this is only a scam.

Scam trying to take money after canceling
I paided the 2 dollars for 7 day trial, just to see my score that day, and once I got my score, I called them to cancel, on first day of trial, before the 40$ charge after trial. It was difficult to cancel, over 3 times I said to cancel and he kept trying to get me to keep it, even for 1 more week. But I said no, and he said he canceled it. My online account did not change, still open, and now 7 days later they just tried to charge 40$ on my credit card. I called back and asked what was going on, and he said my account was canceled and there was no charge, he said maybe it was a older charge, which is nonsense, and my credit card company reported the charge to me as fraud.
Don't use this company, once they have your info they will charge you whatever they want.

Update in response to Company response below: Your terms for the trial was that if i cancel in the 7 days i DONT have any of the reoccuring charges. I canceled it the same day i signed up, and have the cancelation confirmation email the same day. And you continue to try to charge my card every day. I already called your customer support line, which is a scam, i asked many times for a supervisor, i was put on hold for a few min, then told none were avalible and to keep talking. I dont even believe they tried to get a supervisor ANY of the times i called and asked. Total scam company, i am so glad my credit card company declined the 40$ charges, but i worry for all the other people trapped in your scam. I filed a police report and reported to RCMP anti fraud.

Creditverify or PFMverify are total SCAMMERS and THIEVES.I made the mistake of giving them my banking info for $1.00 free week. I cancelled it the next day or 2. But I was charged $34.95 for the last 3 months without knowing. I noticed this last time because I know I had a certain amount in my bank. And the next day there was $34.95missing. I did not use this service once , or was notified of any payment. I phoned to explain , but since I don't have the email from 3 months ago. I'm screwed. After calling them crooks n thieves they refunded me half of the last payment. Ripped off for the rest.
