Just purchased some sadolin woodstain for my fence, as always the advice from David is first class. No matter what paint job I'm doing I go here, best prices, best advice, really helpful staff. 10/10

What is going on in the Charlton centre??
The opening hours on the website and front door don't match. It is the second time I drive there and the centre is closed. The motto " that's why I rely on Crown" is ironic.
No notice telling you if it is opening later than usual, or not at all. This seems to be an ongoing problem which remains unsolved. Poor customer service as no communication online or at the centre: Crown seems to think it is ok to waste customers's time.So painter coming round later but no paint available... may be should have gone with Dulux!
On the upside the "flying squad" filling in for usual staff on Wednesday were extremely helpful and friendly.

I ordered Macpherson Vinyl Matt 10L (Product Code 5025085) with delivery. The driver left a completely different paint outside my door without knocking and left immediately. No delivery note, no paperwork.

I emailed Crown with photos, but I have no car to drive to the store and I needed to start painting today.

I expect either a full refund (and I keep the incorrect item) or urgent collection and delivery of the correct product, plus compensation for the time lost!

Very disappointing service for a paid premium delivery. Waiting for a prompt resolution.

UPDATE:
After my initial complaint about receiving the wrong paint, Crown Decorating Centres resolved the issue very quickly. The correct product was delivered the next day, the incorrect item was collected without any hassle, and they also provided a set of paintbrushes and paint rollers as a goodwill gesture.

Mistakes happen, but what matters is how a company responds — and in this case they handled everything promptly, professionally, and with care.

I’m satisfied with the resolution and will continue shopping with them, as they’ve shown they are a reliable company that looks after their customers.

Great service and good price for a quality product.

I ordered an item for collection and went to collect it within the store opening hours (15:50) and the place was locked up. I went to a different store to get my product. Now trying to figure out how to get a refund for my order

I cannot praise Liz enough for the service I received at Crown Dodworth , I just need to say I struggle walking more than ten metres even with the aid of crutches, the only reason I am saying is that when Liz saw me entering the Crown supply place she insisted on getting me a chair there were a couple of people before me so I had a short but now comfortable wait time. they mixed me the precise colour I wanted and not only that Crown is the best paint I have ever used lovely colour , quick drying and one coat did it great if it were possible to give six stars out of five I would do so. So a big thanks to Crown and Liz you made buying very easy, there is something very genuine about you that is very rare these days ,

I would personally recommend Mandy at crown Doncaster branch, she was soo helpful with her advice on helping us pick colours for our full bungalow renovation.
She listened to our ideas and came up with the perfect colour scheme for every room.
We will definitely be returning in the future.

Ordered paint online and it was on my doorstep within 5 hours best service I've ever encountered

Opening hours supposed to be open till 5 pm I went in @ 4:50 pm to be told they were closed because the comp was switched off ! As its a trade centre not open weekends either

Elaine knows her trade inside and out. She was able to tell me all about the properties of certain paints together with drying times and how to clean the brushes. She is a credit to your business and a delight to talk to. At first I bought one Crown paint but realised after talking to her that it was a different Crown paint that I really needed. She simply did a refund and put through the new sale without a problem. Totally professional.

Very quick and effective delivery which deserves 5⭐️’s.

Not so happy about the price though as I had misinterpreted the website and thought the £40.00 was for a 2.5ltr can not a 1ltr one - hence the lower score awarded.

Visited the Salisbury store on Saturday.
The staff member provided Excellent customer support.

Bought water-based paint online at crowndecoratingcentres.co.uk. Thought that I was buying 2.5 litres. Price - £24 very similar price to Toolstation, but Toolstation's was for 2.5 litres, while.crowndecoratingcentres.co.uk was for 1 (one) litre! Felt ripped off by Crown Decorating Centre!
