Bought a new road bike for my son as he had outgrown his last one I had also bought from Dales. Fantastic service from Jonathan Allan all the way through from identifying and sourcing the right bike for his needs, helping identify the right size and then fitting once the bike arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and can't recommend highly enough.

Really helpful staff on the phone when I wanted to check if the bike online was actually in the shop to view. Ordered online and bike arrived, ready built within 3 days and £70 cheaper than other stockists.

Well impressed. Turns out I’d ordered two pair of peddles and not one I only realised this after I received an email within a hour of purchase querying it then refunded the me a hour later. And! I received the goods a day early too.

I recently bought a Orbea Bike from Dales. Chris attended to me and from the very beginning asked what I was going to use bike for, explained every aspect of the different types of bikes and what they did, how they would perform depending on terrain, and they types of parts for the bike and how they faired again depending on what I was going to use the bike for. I have always cycled but I am more adventurous and like to push myself on bike trails, but nothing too extreme. I like various bikes and he explained to me each bike, how each one would fair depending on where I was planning to take it. I must have been with him for an hour and half, and he even made sure I test tried some bikes to get the feel. I had set my mind on the Orbea Alma H50. Nice bike and nice feel. He actually said for me to go away and think about, rather than rush into anything, but I was so determined to buy a bike that day. There was no hard sell, and he was genuinly wanting to make sure I made the right choice, as bikes are so costly now. Thanks very much Chris for your help. And for taking the time to explain all the different aspects of a bike and what is important depending on the type of use you need it for. I have been on my bike many times now and loving the experience and next week planning to go to bike trail with my mate Stu to see how far we can push ourselves on some extreme bike trails.

Listing stuff at discount that they don’t have stock of then cancelled the order. Not good stock management 😕 Refund policy not clear either.

After a lot of searching online, Dales were the only vendor who had the range of kids bikes I was looking for and who were also able to offer a ‘ready to ride’ option.
The quality of the service was second to none, streets ahead of the larger national stores that claim to provide the same. Everything from the online purchase through to the delivery of the bike was top quality and well thought out. Many thanks to the whole team at Dales.

Good value, delivered quickly, as they said they would. They were also quick to reply to an email to confirm that the fairly scarce item was definitely in stock :)

Hi I would have given five stars - but there was a large gash to the box when delivered which went through to the smaller box containing the charger and cable's - thankfully just missing the back wheel and gear's hopefully - not had a chance to ride her to see if it's caused any problems hopefully not - otherwise really happy thank you
