Waste of time
Placed two x 3 month ads. 2nd one paid extra to be featured as almost no enquiries from first ad. Few replies I got, coincidentcially just after I placed ad and again at renewal were fake I guess, or time wasters. First ad got about 4 inquiries all asking for more info. Each email came back as undeliverable. I had an ice business to sell and listed as such. When I searched for ice business for sale, ice merchants for sale etc, My business almost never appeared in the results. Cafes, Pubs, alsorts, but no ice suppliers, manufacturers etc. Paid extra to be featured. Once you place you ad they contact you and suggest it is a necessary ad on. In 6 months I had about 8 replies even though I reduced the price from £150K to about £60K. Each enquiry was just for more info, the two emails that didn't come back undeliverable were from time wasters who wanted to buy the business at a rediculous offer, just to sell it on again.

I am unable to locate your details on our system so cannot comment on your actual advertisement and the stats generated.
We attract nearly 1/2 million monthly unique users to the site interested in investing in their own business or franchise opportunity and our most expensive package works out at just £59 + VAT per month so to get you in front of this many potential buyers at this rate is exceptional value.
Sadly this did not in this case translate into a sale so very disappointing that we were not able to include you among our many happy sellers! Thanks again for taking the time to let us know your thoughts.

Just hasn't reached potential buyers. Had no real interest despite a very fair price. If this changes in last few weeks of advert I will change my review accordingly. Needs boosting to top of page without extra cost.

When typing the asking price for your business, it's best to not put a full stop, but a comma as this is how prices are always displayed. This could be a key factor as to why you haven't been receiving enquiries as the price isn't displayed properly and looks unrealistic.

Your side did very well
Your side did very well, it was me that was to blame for any lost interest as have been very ill over the period of the advert The people I did have interested seemed like they wanted to copy what I was doing . ( Picking my brains). Only one was serious and they lived abroad and did'nt come over to view. I would choose Daltons again as it is a well organised company with friendly hard working staff. Lyn.

very happy to receive a call from Stephanie, after my last review, who has successfully moved our advert in order to reach a wider search group.
The messages from prospective buyers has also been changed and is now coming to my email.
It seems that some staff are very helpful and some are just after your money.

The initial consultation was great and our advert was live within 48 hours, when we didn't get many responses I emailed in to see if I could have some feedback or help in changing the ad and Grace from the support team was great, she boosted our ad and helped me change a few things on the advert..

I would like to state however that Daltonsbusiness do not automate enquiries sir. There is a default "Please send me more info....." message sent if the user does not complete the message field on the contact form but all enquiries are only generated upon somebody filling in theform on your advert.
I can also see that you did generate a good number of enquiries over the campaign. Unfortunately we are unable to control whether a potential buyer responds to you, much as we would love to! Thanks again for your review.

No support and no way to sift out the…
No support and no way to sift out the time wasters.
We had 15 enquiries - 2 serious. One had valid reason to not proceed. Other had 2 viewings, milked us for how to run a similar business and then ran to start a competitor business - live and learn!
I wouldnt use Daltons again as once they have your cash you are on your own and doesnt really attract people who would not find you anyway.
The time wasters are simply amazing!!

Brilliant company! Very professional, we had one business and a holiday let with them, all sold very quickly and we completed today. Brilliant service, unlike other sites was able to actually speak to someone and get advice on our business sale.
