I have just renewed my Defence Discount subscription after five years and it was a pleasant surprise that the cost of £4.99 has not increased.
When I first got this card, it was slow to take off and I wondered why I applied for it, but all of a sudden there was an explosion on how many retailers were accepting the card.
Our biggest surprise was in October 2025, we purchased a brand-new car (KIA Sportage 1 6T GDi HEV GT-Line S 5dr Auto AWD) and we received a massive discount, in the region of thousands of pounds, of the price of the car!

Full marks to Defence Discount Services (DDS) as it is there to save us money, especially in the time where money is tight!

Some confusion with the online registration/acceptance process. However, once personal contact was established with Clover, everything proceeded without further issues. Clover was very helpful & professional in her approach & her help was much appreciated.

After having many problems trying to sign in to my account I have finally managed to do so with the help of Reece who assisted in the problem sorting of this issue.

This is a subscription that 'Keeps on Giving'. I regularly use it for raffle prizes with Virgin Experience Amber Day's and Toby luncheons for family and friends. Simply a no-brainer not to sign up and subscribe. Any issues with their affiliates are quickly resolved.

Extremely positive experience following Clover resolving the issue very quickly.

I had an issue with applying for the card as the website wouldn’t load. However, this was very quickly dealt with by Sammie and I was able to use the service soon after. Sammie was very courteous and resolved the manner.

Reece was very helpful. A few things were required to sort my account and he did them all amd kept me updated. Very happy.

I had lost my card and sought help from DDS. They were very helpful and patient. I later found the card and DDS reinstated it. All very satisfactory.
