bought a power plus recliner today ,was seen by Andy who explained everything we needed to know at Clifton moor york he seemed really experienced, I would recommend dfs to anyone.

We asked Andrew for some information on sofa beds.
Andrew showed us the stock in store, moved furniture to pull out the bed.
Went through all the information required on a purchase in detail.

Andrew at the York store was very helpful. Looking forward to receiving my new sofa.

The store held a wide range of furniture for viewing and trying out. The friendly and helpful customer service was excellent. I was offered a coffee whilst the staff member talked with me about my chosen sofa and I was given time and help to ensure that my order was correct, and that I understood the delivery and aftercare procedures.

I had a wonderful experience at the DFS store. The lady who assisted us was extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to clearly explain both the service and the products, making the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.

Relaxed, no pressure sales
Emily and the team were polite, informative and very efficient. We were given space (and coffee) when we required some time to reflect and discuss options privately and didn't feel pressured at any point. The process was explained in depth along with other peripheral stuff like care plan etc. The finance options were carefully explained and the approval came through quickly, allowing us to leave the store safe in the knowledge that we had completed everything.

Really helpful and friendly service, buying a sofa can be a stressful task but the staff at dfs York made it simple and relaxing, everything was clear and communication was great as well as ensuring all information was correct so we know exactly what we was getting. I was looking for a recliner chair , the lady who was serving me , showed me so many to look and try out .
I was impressed with her knowledge,and most of all she listened to my needs and pointed me in the right direction , no pushy sales ,just nice and relaxed , I’m very impressed with everything and would definitely go back there again .
And my chair is coming a lot earlier than anticipated which is an added bonus .

Multiple furniture stores and several weeks of searching led to DFS taking Pole position. Choosing a 'small' recliner was the brief and the LayZboy Lakewood emerged as favourite. Staff were were patient and informative. Options well explained... across 3 visits. Unfortunately colour swatches were not available for home viewing but we were facilitated a look in daylight! Gge website failed to help and a phonecall and 3 weeks later, a couple of swatches arrived and we were ready to order.
We found small medium and large recliners, some with risers, but found the Lakewood a good compromise seat size. Ordering was very well supported, in-store staff very polite, respectful and engaged in our needs; not just 'the sales. Discovering manufacture is now in China was a shock! Shipping plus Chinese factory less pricey than Europe? Wow. Learning that made the sales doc folder outdated but already, very 'white... come on guys!
Overall very pleased, took more time due to swatches sample wait but genuinely excited for our new sofa in 14 weeks: interest free too! Brilliant.
